Paleo got me to Onederland!
You're hearing it here on the Paleo board first. I'm officially in Onederland after 28 years in exile. I am quite stoked about this. I really would like to thank the paleo community and the hours of podcast time that kept me turning my own situation over in my head so I could finally figure out what my body needed to be healthy and happy. The one food that made this the easiest is coconut. I eat about half a whole coconut a day. It's got to be the worlds most perfect food.

Yayyyy!! I am transitioning over to Paleo since I have recently began crossfit. I am hoping the combo of the two will get me to goal, plus I like the concept of Paleo! Congrats again!!!! I certainly know the feeling of seeing a "1" leading that number on the scale, you ROCK!

Great Job! Eating paleo is like a magic secret, how easy and effective it really is, I have never in my adult life felt so 'right' all around, especially health wise, eliminating grains and dairy is what has done this.
So happy for you, and I agree, coconut is the bomb! |

That's an excellent question. Now that I'm here, I can see that if I shed a few more pounds in certain areas I could look better, but at the same time I told myself that when I reached 200lbs I would start working on building muscle mass and throw my scale away. I'm not really all that concerned about maintenance since I plan to follow the same style of eating for the long haul. I think for the short term, I'll just let the matter wash over me for a couple days or weeks and keep my eyes open for insight.
