I seriously don't know what is wrong with me at the moment but I can't seem to stop overeating, and obviously it shows on the scale
As much as I hate low carb eating, especially since I finally got my bowel problems and the hair loss under control, I might have to at least TRY it for a few days and see if I can kill the demon

Krista...I am doing it all, for the past three years I have been counting calories, carbs, fat, sodium and protein, and for the past year I included cholesterol, potassium, fiber, sugar, vitamin a, vitamin c, iron, and calcium...have I mentioned before that I have OCD? The problem with it all is that I can't stick to a reasonable calorie intake, I am always hungry and that's where the overeating comes in place. I don't want to go too low carb because it made my hair fall out and all the animal fats had my cholesterol way up, plus it caused me chronic constipation to the point that I was afraid I would have bowel obstruction. Eating fruits, veggies, and whole grains has completely solved both problems, so I am really hesitant to go back to low carb (under 20). After doing a lot of research on this subject I think I am going to try a "lower" carb approach, trying to keep my NET carbs under 50 grams, that should give me plenty of room to get enough fiber in, and focus on some good proteins to keep hunger at bay (fat doesn't do a thing for me but make me nauseous), then may be bump the carbs up every now and then to get the engine roaring again I have the plan, I just have to kill the hunger monster to actually stick to it!!! I have absolutely no will power right now, I'm ALWAYS hungry!!!

ladies....will be back next week..things are settling a little and I want to get back to my routine...haven't weight myself so might have a big shock..then i'll take it one day at a time...

Life is so precious ladies...we have to take the time and enjoy ourself also,it's nice to want to lose weight but we need to do it with baby steps

Need to stop eating Halloween Candy.. I think I am going to hide it all away when I get home.. It's bumping up my calories by about 200 a day.

Erika - Well that might explain why my hair was falling out like crazy!
I had an AHA moment the other day where I realized if I just eat reasonable foods and stop this whole binge, starve, binge, starve routine the weight WILL eventually come off. It has to.. I think that's the path I am going to try to take here.

Krista...Out of all the diets I have ever tried, super low carb, under 20 or less total carbs, is the only one that ever had me lose hair. I did Atkins back in 2001 and I lost almost all my hair, it was so bad that co-workers would ask me about my "illness", they thought I was going through chemo therapy!!! Stopped the low carbing and my hair grew back, of course I got fat again too because I went back to eating garbage, and too much of the garbage.


Maryann...Keep going there, you can do this!
