HELP! NOT losing weight on fast

Hi-
I've been fasting for several days, only to find that I'm stalled at 171 (I still have 61 pounds to go). I'm really curious as to why this might be happening - even if my body is in starvation mode, it has got to release fat eventually!

Should I stop fasting? I don't know what to do at this point

I'm drinking lots of water, and eating a single 4 oz. serving of protein everyday. That's it. I've been doing this for about five days now.

I decided to just let go and have pasta plus ice cream last night. I'd been fasting for ten days, and was feeling weak and dizzy. Today, I woke up feeling stronger and better. Will resume fast, but allow myself a bunless hamburger everyday.

I am doing exactly that now - it is my fifth day now, and I love it so far! I was feeling weak before, and now I feel strong.

it is important to look at the entire picture, not just the last week. how much have you lost over the last month, two months?

i lose in chunks, never nice and neat (pound here, pound there). everyone's different. if you've been faithful to your woe, the scale will show it in time.
