Week 4
Sun 180.4 cal=unknown, ate too much, Mon 181.2 cal net 1335 after 200 calorie burn n treadmill, Tue 179.8 (son's bday, went out so didn't count cal), Wed 179.4

Erika, that method has some pretty big calorie swings, wow! Glad you're able to lose weight doing it. Keep it up!!

Seeing some nice drops last week so keep strong in your resolve!!

Also thanks everyone for the but it's only the water weight from my four day pig out weekend, I need to get under 182, which is not happening tomorrow since it is a full day today.

Patrick...It is not on plan to eat 1800 to 2500, it just happens like that sometimes. The basic of the plan is that you eat at maintenance level (in my case 1800 PLUS eating back my exercise calories) one day, and 500 calories the next, no eating of exercise calories, it's diet day. The average for the two days is 1250 calories, which puts me at a deficit of 1500 calories for both days. Doing two or three fasts a week I have a deficit of 3000 to 4500 for the week and that should result in a loss of 1 to 1 1/2 pounds a week. The lowest I have eaten on a maintenance day was about 1700 and the highest 3000, but it all evens out, because I go by weekly total calories, and they are not even at my BMR, where they should be. The ONLY thing about this plan is the upward bounces after a high calorie day, but I think I am pretty content with it, I know it's only food still in the system, and/or sodium and sugar, so it's only water. I really hope I can keep going on it, it would be the perfect plan for me during the summer, we take a lot of fishing trips to the Connecticut shoreline on the weekends and it would be nice not having to worry about eating all that good seafood there, just do some fasts during the week!

So this is my final weigh in this month - Missed goal by 3.5lbs but still lost a couple lbs all while gorging myself on the weekends, so I can't complain too much. Hubby is working today and Sunday so with him out the house I should actually have a pretty low weekend and MAYBE even for once in 13 weeks show a loss over the weekend.. Did I just jinx myself?!!?!

Erika - WHOO!!! Congrats on not only hitting but surpassing your May 1st goal!

This has been a super hard month for so many of us - Lets just keep on keeping on and we'll make it through!!!

Mommy...Thank you so much for all the good vibes! You are right, I have to stay POSITIVE!! I also have no doubt that you will make your goal, you have done fantastic this month! (now I'm sneaking the (((((((vibes)))))))))

Autumn...Hang in there Weight fluctuates daily due to a lot of things, food in the system, the body holding on to water. stress, no sleep, and for us women it is even more complicated due to all the darn hormones. The body will catch up eventually!

Krista....i know it's crazy this stupid snow,we've seen enough i really want to see spring

Joanna...the hardest thing i find being on W.W. is tracking,tracking tracking...it so time consuming but it's the only way to know exactly what goes in your mouth....cause by the end of the day...wow it could be overwelming how much food we can pack without realizing...

I saw every number between 173.6 and 174.8 so pick a number I guess Working in the yard this afternoon so I'll be burning some extra calories

Goal is to get to 172 or lower overall and 177 by end of month.

Week 3
4/16, Wed. 184lb cal=?, 4/17, Thu 182.4lb, 4/18 cal=1226, Fri 181.4 cal=1459 net after 175 calorie burn on treadmill, 4/19, Sat 180.2 cal=1287

Week 4
4/20 Sun 180.4 cal=unknown, ate too much, 4/21 Mon 181.2 cal net 1335 after 200 calorie burn n treadmill, 4/22 Tue 179.8 (son's bday, went out so didn't count cal), 4/23 Wed 179.4 cal=1300 net after 207 calorie burn on treadmill / exercises, 4/24 Thu 179.2 cal=1401, 4/25 Fri 179.4 cal 1287 net, walked/ran for 200 calories and did some weights, stomach exercises. 4/26 - Sat 178.4 Fat % at 22.9% and Muscle % at 34.8%.

Started fat % at 25 and muscle at 33. Fat % is dropping due to less calories but weight is only dropping slowly due to muscle increase (which weighs more). This is a wall that some experience where it doesn't look like much is happening based on the scale but internally things are changing, just takes persistence. Without a scale that shows the fat / muscle % it's hard to gauge.

Low cal. for good quantity soup is Progresso Light, 2 cups only had 140 calories.

Finish strong, 4 more days!

Mommygate - so true about not knowing how many calories we can consume without realizing it. I gained 12lbs from last May so hope to do much better about keeping it off when I reach goal.

Happy Sunday everyone!

I have to admit that I am very happy today, I didn't expect another drop. Seems that the HUGE calorie swings got my metabolism all fired up, and I was actually able to lose a few pounds. I don't DARE to dream but may be, JUST MAY be I get to peek at the 170's by next week, I have not seen those since July of last year! Needless to say I will continue this in May!


GOAL WEIGHT FOR APRIL: To lose 4 pounds would be nice!

APRIL 1 = 186.6 -- MAY 1 GOAL = 182.6


Going to post weight only after fast days this week (if I manage some)

4-01---186.6--starting weight
4-21---189.2--2300 calories
4-22---187.8-- 550 calories
4-23---183.8--2100 calories
4-24----------- 540 calories
4-25---181.6--2300 calories
4-26------------600 calories
4-27---180.8--new low! -- 2000 calories planned for today
