Hello, all! Just popped over here from the JUDDD boards, and I see some familiar "faces." JUDDD has been wildly effective for some, but for me, painfully too few calories on down days. I'm plan to rotate (shallowly) between 1,000 and 1,200 calories and remain low to lower carb. For those planning to try the JUDDD WOE, there are some great tips and tricks on those boards.

I weigh only once per week, as I can become discouraged by daily variation. I'll post my current weight Saturday...my goal for April is five pounds evicted. Hope that's not too ambitious! Good day to all!

Up since 3 am, dragged my tired behind to work at 6:30 even though I didn't want to go at all...and here the kicker, overtime, 10 hours non stop taking and processing referrals On a positive note I didn't have time to eat

Joanne...Your numbers look really good! I think we just have to be more patient with the scales and not expect a 2 pounds loss every day. As long as we eat at a calorie deficit we will lose!


Tammy... Nice job!! And I bet you can do the 700 today!

Krista... Don't feel bad, we all have our weak spot! (I have too many to count) Chinese food one of my favorites, but I know when I have it I will weigh in between 8 and 10 heavier the next day, yup, that's how much sodium I retain!

Emma... Thanks for the tip! I think all of us on here tried JUDDD before! I actually did pretty well on it for a couple of months, then the low down days threw me into a full year of binging, just the past few months my body is finally calming down enough for me to try some sort of fasting again but not to the extreme of JUDDD. I will not go below 500 calories on fast days and not under 1800 on feast days. I been following a 5:2 group on another site and their losses are simply fantastic on eating 2000 calories for 5, and 500 calories for 2 days!

It's Saturday and I still woke up at 4 am I might have to check out some natural sleep aids.
The weekend will be a challenge for me, I am off three days, so I am not sure yet how I will handle this.

Thank you, cagmom and Erika for the welcome! I do like the idea of a bit of calorie cycling to shake up the system, but those JUDDD down days were vicious! I was amazed at how low some folks could go and still function. My weekly weigh-in result:

Saturday, April 5: 144.0
Goal for April: 139.0

Good morning!

Note to self, do NOT approach a very low calorie day when on a 6 hour spring cleaning frenzy AND that unwanted guest TOM is in the house. Scrubbed floors and walls, and just general spring cleaning all day yesterday on absolutely no food. By the time late afternoon came around I was RAVENOUS and absolutely physically exhausted, to the point that I actually knocked out for a couple of hours. Will do another high day today since I am not working, low calorie days for this week will be Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Autumn...I agree with you on both subjects. The weekends for me are very hard, even though I try to keep myself busy. I am stuck in the 180's, this is an old set point from long ago and I was that weight for many years, my body has been giving me hell to not go lower. I will outsmart the bugger, if it takes me all year!!!
