Wow lots of activity!! way to go girls! I sure wish I had more time to write, but we are still in post end of the year crunch time. PLUS I am learning new duties for my job, so my head is spinning!

I could not weigh in yesterday after my UP UP an AWAY day!.. However after my Sat 6pm to Sun 6pm DD, I was back to where I was Saturday. I will continue my experiment and see where I land next weekend.

Day 1 -- July 9-- 175.8 DD until 6pm
Day 2-- July 10- 174.8 UD until 6pm
Day 3-- July 11 - 175.4 DD until 6pm
Day 4-- July 12- 173.8 UD until 6pm
Day 5-- July 13-- did not weigh at Mom's but WAY over did it!! Too much goodness!!! Family reunion spread.
Day 6-- July 14-- 173.8 UD until 6pm then no food except 500 cals until 6pm Tuesday, when I will have a small dinner after 6pm.

I'm not a Stevia fan either! I don't like the taste of it at all! Natural? That doesn't make it safe!! People are so easily mislead. Arsenic is natural too .

Jan.. wow you are losing very well!! Would love to have fresh peaches.. omg!!

Jen, you are on a roll! Look at you getting to the 240's this month, you got this!!

Shari, you are definitely settling into JUDDD and doing wonderful. I wish I could do it the correct way, and who knows maybe in time I can!

Julie.. you are doing the right thing.. your body is talking to you!.. LOVE your pics.. maybe someday I will have those too.. right now.. ick on the pic...

Pati, hope you had a great camping weekend!!!

Stina, hope you get the care you deserve, I would be so angry!.. good luck with your surgery!!

Bitsky, JUDDD is very very tempting when you can get into a groove! I want to get those good feeling side effects, so I may have to alter the way I do it. who knows.. for now it is ok..

Gracie, I am still working my meals around the THM principles.. I do think that is a good way to look at food. I just add a few things in that I know are not pure, but convenient for sure! Keep up the good work on your THM plan!!

It's crazy that they don't put it on the box!!! My DD Erin has very bad allergies and OMG I am so glad I didn't give her any of it. On the THM facebook page a woman was just writing today how she used Truvia and woke up in the middle of the night with welts and her throat closing!!! Sheesh that's scary stuff. I would've never in a million years thought the stevia is extracted from the same plant as ragweed. I don't trust anything anymore.

I am winging it today. My sister-n-law gave me a big bag of light red beans so hubby wants some red beans and rice. They are cooking right now so hopefully they will turn out okay because I have never cooked dry red beans, only canned ones. I will not be eating them because they are not a fav bean of mine. lol

Hi ladies...just checking in with everyone.

Gracie-That is so crazy about truvia. I'm allergic to ragweed as well. I don't really use any artificial sweetener at the moment. But that is good to know.
Deb-You are definitely rocking your way down! KUTGW
Jan-I absolutely love putting dry beans in the crock pot. My fave are northern beans...mmmm!
Julie-I'm uncertain what to tell you except I am in line with supporting you to quit. No use in forcing it any longer.
Shari-How's the DD going? I am at 2000 cals for my UD and probably will stop here, but have some avocado to eat for a snack if I get hungry before I go to bed.
Pati- Miss you....!!!!

Good Morning Loves!! Back from a long weekend camping and I am pooped *yawn*
My allergies are freaking KILLING me! I could have used another good 4 hours of sleep today. *yawn*

Lots of action going on!!
Julie - I would definitely call it quits *but that's just me*. I personally don't think it's worth risking messing up your metabolism if the hcg isn't working. Good luck honey!! Your body may be liking the weight you are at right now? Can you do Atkins to keep the weight loss going but at a slower rate?

Seems everyone else is doing pretty good with JUDDD! (or their version of it )

Me? I had a great weekend at camp...we were 25 people in all! 3 sites, 5 tents and 2 campers!!! Fun times were had. No cares about "diets" were given and many memories made Doing it again next week (on smaller scale since it will be 6 of us).

Here is where I am at!!!

GM ladies!

Pati~great that you had a wonderful time with loved ones, that's what really matters. Weight gained will quickly come off, hope you have a great DD.

Gracie~that's crazy about Truvia!! They ought to be fined for promoting it as all natural when it's extracted from the same plant as ragweed...really?!!! I'm glad you were able to find the source of your symptoms, it could be fatal for people who don't know it!

Julie~I also think you're making the best decision for your body now. Whatever you decide, you know we're here for you!

Jan~I love beans, but never eat it because I'm usually doing LC...now you reminded me of it again and I can be free to eat it! I love red beans and navy beans but it give me horrible gas so I'd have to make that a weekend treat LOL. Hopefully you had a successful DD!

Jen~ girl you're rocking it!! Your numbers are pefect! Hope your DD goes well today too.

Deb~hopefully you're still doing well too on your experiment. I love seeing your posts daily to say how it's going.

Yesterday was rough, I think it's because I had 2 UDs in a row as yesterday's DD felt like more the ones during the first week. I toughed it out (cals came in totaling 425) because I weighed yesterday and gained from my weekend treats, but today I'm down all but 0.4 oz from Saturday's weigh in. I don't have any plans this weekend so hopefully I can continue on my alternate day rotations. I'm kinda bummed today because G and I got into a horrible argument this morning and I just want to cry but gotta 'put on the face' today when meeting with clients. Ugh, Calgon take me away....

Good morning!

Pati ~ Glad you're back safe and sound! See how hard it is to follow ANY diet while camping? My DH and kids cook all kinds of fabulous things over the fire. Blooming onions, mountain pies, beer can chicken I leave Friday for 10 days at the lake. Lord help me!!!

Shari ~ That's awesome that one DD took you almost back to where you were on Saturday. Sorry you and G got into an argument. That always ruins my day if me and DH fight. Maybe send him a sweet text so the arguing will be over before you get back home?

Hi Deb, Jen, Jan, Sheba, Julie

As for me, I'm still chugging along with THM. Had a yummy dinner last night of parmesan crusted pork chops and broccolli w/butter and cheese Then around 9:30 I was craving something chocolate (TOM is coming) so I made the chocolate cake in a mug I also made icing - cream cheese mixed with butter and splenda. OMG it hit the spot!!! I exercised yesterday!!! I walked for 60 minutes and then "planked" for 10 seconds. Don't laugh - planking is incredibly hard. I'm doing a planking challenge with my DS. Today I need to do 20 seconds My arms are killing me today from only 10 seconds!!! DS does it for a minute and 30 seconds and then does each side. But, he's 15 and in great physical shape. I'm 42 and OUT OF SHAPE Anyhoo, everyone have a great day!

Planks are hard!! You go girl!! Enjoy that 10 days at the lake! How fun! THM is going well for you!! KUTGW!!

Thanks girls, for supporting me . I feel good about stopping, mand realistically 5-10lbs isn't the end of the world. I was just excited to get down to the 140's and despite my determination, can't make that happen with hcg right now. But it's ok. I'm adjusting. So much of it is mental fortitude, expectation management and keeping it all in perspective.

So, refocusing on health, fitness and living and enjoying life! I did my Zumba class today and did great. Felt so good! I'll do some weight lifting tomorrow, and then the water park (aka stair master to the water slides) on Thursday.

We just booked a weekend beach getaway for mid August then 1.5 weeks after that we head to MN. for BIL's wedding and a visit with dh's family. It'll be a fun filled few weeks. once I'm home from all of that, I'll reevaluate. Maybe I'll try juddd again? I've failed at it twice, but maybe the third times the charm? We'll see. You guys make it look tempting. I may just give hcg another go, as it'll be a lot of time btw rounds at that point. We shall see.

I love your great attitude about yourself. The last time I did hcg it was not too successful either I guess my mind was not in it. I will be taking my daughter to the water park for her birthday, she has been bugging me for the last 2 weeks lol.
Wow......seems like you will have a great summer. KUTGW!

Happy hump day!

Great job, Jen!!! 10 lbs in a month is incredible!! Enjoy your UD today

Deb~ Darn cake! That's the ups and downs of JUDDD but the beauty of it, it'll be gone quickly. Hopefully you're transitioning well into your new position..enjoy your UD too!

Julie~I too had given up on JUDDD thinking that it wasn't for me. The more I read, the more I saw that most people struggle in the beginning with getting the rotations right and finding their sweet spot. I think after accepting the back and forth with numbers on the scale, being able to see the patterns of loss through eventually those 'forth' numbers becoming lesser numbers, and that the weight loss will be slow but it does 'stick', then it starts to work. Well, it really always work if you follow it, but I think that it's the getting use to not expecting the large losses (especially after coming from the protocol) we feel more confident on staying with it.

Jan~congrats on your loss!! To lose while eating whatever you want if sooo freeing. Good job!

Gracie~wow, no laughs from me...planking is hard work. Good for you! Nice upcoming trip to look forward to.

Pati~hope you had a great DD, enjoy today! You too have a nice upcoming weekend getaway to look forward to.

Stina~pray you have a successful and speedy recovery. Thinking and for you. Please check in when able.

G and I talked yesterday afternoon and again last night, it was emotional but needed. I'm better today, but I have to admit that I ate to my emotions for lunch. I just didn't care (good thing it was an UD) but then I got a grip and said enough, I'd do better if I ate dinner. But I noted that while we were talking last night I was eating, stopped midway when I realized what I was doing. I think it's so crazy that I was doing it subconsciously which reminds me that I should keep mindful eating at the forefront of my mind. I was going to weigh but decided to do a good DD and will see tomorrow if damage was done. I pulled out a pair of my 10s that I so desperately want to get back into by next summer as a reminder (hung on my closet door) of my goal for now. I so appreciate the support here that I can be a broken record w/o feeling judged for the continuous back-n-forth.
Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Hi love....I am so extremely happy that JUDDD is working for you!!! Like Shari said it takes some time to adjust but it really works. And although we haven't talked much about it, it not only makes you see changes in the scale but your body actually transforms! I am so happy for you!!!!!

As for me....

Here you go...
Here we go for July:
June #s (started 199. Goal 190. Last weigh in of the month was 190.5)
July goal is 185

7/1 ~ 193 (down day & much needed! Look at the jump in scale! YIKES!)
7/2 ~ 190 (up day today)
7/3 ~ 191 (down day today)
7/4 ~ 189.5 (up day today) HAPPY 4TH EVERYONE!!!!
7/5 ~ 190.5 (down day today)
7/6 ~ 189.5 (up day today)
7/7 ~ 191.5 (down day today)
7/8 ~ 189.5 (up day today)
7/9 ~ 190.5 ( up day today - wonky week. working the down days in as much as possible)
7/10 ~ 190.5 (down day today)
7/11 ~ 189 (camping)
7/12 ~ DNW (camping)
7/13 ~ DNW (camping)
7/14 ~ DNW (camping)
7/15 ~ 192 (down day today)
7/16 ~ 189.5 (up day today) <- Look how fast the camping pounds went away

Glad my next camping trip isn't until the 24th (not this weekend...I can't communicate well at times ) I would like to get a few lbs off and be closer to my July goal of 185. I will take 187 by the time we go camping! Hey one can dream right?!?!? LOL

BTW - I have officially begun working out again. The scale won't budge much I am sure now but I honestly do not mind. I will 100% carry on with JUDDD but I need the work outs. DESPERATELY! I mean honestly, I would rather weigh 175 and look 160 than weigh 175 (my goal weight) and look 190 KWIM? Soooooo I have finally clicked it in my little teeny brain to work out on up days only! (so every other day). I mean for crying out loud, I will have the calories to be able to do it so why not right? ALL THAT SAID, I started Monday night (did one hour of Zumba). Doing another tonight. Friday will be the start of weights again!

Well I have yapped long enough!!! Love each of you!! Hope you all have a very very blessed day

Thanks Shari! I do believe that Juddd is an excellent plan and see so many succeed on it! I think I have this fear that plans won't work FOR ME. I see others who lose well on WW, biggest loser plan, etc....but none of that has ever worked for me. When I did Juddd last time, I did 3 solid weeks of the rotations, hitting my 500 cal DDs, and my UDs were definitely up! I was committed, and definitely felt like i had sacrificed. I would have been encouraged enough to stick to it if I had STS, but I gained! I am definitely not ruling out another attempt in the future, and seeing you guys do so well on it really makes me want to try. I do remember that feeling of deprivation on the DDs, familiar to hcg feelings. It could be, for me, that in time I will try it again.
I'm glad you talked it out with G. And for the awareness and epiphany in the middle of your eating! That's huge!! WTG!! You're amazing! Doing so well!
