I need to make some goals for May - like exercise!!! It has rained here every single day so no going outside. But I could've gone to the gym!

I bought the Guys BBQ sauce and it's yummy! Had it on ribs yesterday. I also made an oopsie dessert. I took a flatten oopsie roll, put sugar-free (1 carb) red raspberrie preserves on and whipped cream. OMG So good!!!
You're doing great! 9lbs in 16 days is amazing!!! You're recieps sound delicious!!

I'm not sure what's working, but I'm afraid to change anything! I'm so happy with it! Man! It's like I've never done hcg before.

Many people struggle with the quest bars. They can be too good! You're doing great, taking things slowly is wise!

GM ladies, happy Thursday!

Pati~you're doing awesome! Don't mind the goose egg, usually a nice loss comes after a stall.

Deb~glad you're doing well too. Yeah, the scale brings a love/hate relationship so don't blame you for weighing once a week. Currently I have no idea what I weigh, it was driving me CRAZY! Hope you have a nice surprise when you do weigh.

Irene~ I agree with Deb, you too! You're definitely an asset to our group. Congrats on seeing great numbers on the scale!

Julie~ GIRL, you're killing it!! Congrats on new lows...wow! I agree with the other ladies, whatever combo you're doing is working!

Gracie~ Congrats, 9lbs is wonderful!! Gonna have to order Guy's sauce...glad there's something we can use for low carb eating.

Me~I'm feeling good! I'm a happy camper now that I'm not letting the scale drive me bananas every day and exercising 4-5 days a week. I'm sooo ready and excited to leave this weekend. I'm going to try to post again before I go, but I'm working today & tomorrow, track meet Saturday, plane leaves 6 am Sunday. I don't mind being busy now because I plan to relax allll next week LOL. Love you all!

Oh Shari you sound so good!! Congrats on staying with the exercise and not letting the scale rule you...

I am excited to see the scale down on Saturday. I peeked in the evening and it is down even at night, so I should have a good first week weigh in.

You have a fantastic time on your vacation if we don't hear from you before you go, relax and enjoy!!! Love you too my friend!

Sharilicious!

So proud of you! Getting all that exercise in is wonderful! I will eventually follow suit with some of you and rid myself of the scale after this round. It drives me bananas!

I am so happy for you! I'm hoping these next few days go by quickly so you can enjoy to the fullest!!!

Here is what's happening with me...

Saturday (load day 1) = 215
Sunday (load day 2) = 216.5
4/21 (vlcd 1) = 217
4/22 (vlcd 2) = 214 (-3 lbs)
4/23 (vlcd 3) = 212 (-2 lbs)
4/24 (vlcd 4) = 211 (-1 lbs) - This day was a complete BUST! CHEATED
4/25 (vlcd 5) = 210.5 (-.5 lbs)
4/26 (vlcd 6) = 209.5 (-1 lbs)
4/27 (vlcd 7) = 208.5 (-1 lbs) = Feeling crappy. Ate off plan.
4/28 (vlcd 8) = 209 (+.5 lb)
4/29 (vlcd 9) = 207 (-2 lbs)
4/30 (vlcd 10) = 207 (BIG FAT GOOSE EGG! 0)
5/1 (vlcd 11) = 206.5 (-.5 lb)

TOTAL (include load weight cuz it makes me feel better) = 10.5 lbs

Weight slowed its roll. Expected I suppose but annoying none-the-less....
Hoping the mini-load (off day) Saturday pushes the weight loss further along.
Honestly, I'm feeling pretty darn good regardless. In the past, when I would do (try) p2 I would feel miserable. Going rogue actually makes me believe I can go alot longer eating this way We shall see. I'm letting my body decide.

On a NSV note, my boobs (or torso I should say) are/is getting smaller. Had to hook the bra strap into the middle clasps. (not a big victory but a victory )

That's all folks....

How's everyone doing today? Can you believe we're in May already!?!?!?

Congrats on your losses so far, you're doing great! .5's are good too!! And Bra victories are always fantastic May... I know! crazy

Julie You're a rock star on this round! Do you hike on vlcd's?

Shari: The scale can totally mess with our minds sometimes. It's great to just let go, live your life and check in! Feels freeee! Have a great weekend relaxing if we don't catch you again

Deb and Gracie Morning! Hope you're doing well

So today is VLCD3 although I only have a weight from yesterday.. and I've lost 1.4 overnight. I love the beginning of rounds when it's really quick! I'm not shying away from things this round like I did last round... had a stir fry with coconut oil... I think I'm going to include small amounts of good fat this round. Why deprive myself of taste if it doesn't affect the scale?

I hiked yesterday. I did fine, but last night I had bad cramps in my feet and my lightheadedness is much worse. I guess I may have overdone it? I'll be fine, but look forward to more exercise soon!
You're doing great! Yes! Do it your way! Find what works and you feel content with, then keep on going .

Deb-you peeked? That's what I would do too! so glad you're down!! I okay the weigh at night and guess the morning weight game . Keep up the good work my friend!

I'm running out of steam. I have NO complaints. I'm down 0.2 to 153.9 this morning, which is wonderful. No longer in the "overweight" category for me!
I was up half the night with foot cramps, and nearly fell after getting up too quickly yesterday evening. I do usually get light headed toward the end of a round, but this one scared me. Like a long time to recover from it, I really thought I might go down. So, I'm likely going to wrap up my round soon. I'll dose again today to see what tomorrow's weight will be. I did take a 3 mile hike yesterday, so that may have been enough to wear me out. In any event, I'm super thrilled with my PI, and am really glad I went for it. If I'm done, I have no room to complain. My body could probably use a break, and I hope my mind can look at clean P3 as a celebration and stick to the plan.

Oh, and a NSv, I'm wearing my guess jeans that I love, but haven't been able to wear for a year!! I still can't fit comfortably into my 6's, but I can put them on! Progress!

Good morning! Great to see all the wonderful losses and NSV's this morning WOOOOHOOOO I peeked this morning and I'm at 198.4 YAY! A new low for the year, putting me at -16.2#. I'm so happy!!! I know I shouldn't be weighing every day because it messes with my head. Luckily it went down today

Yesterday I had coffee/hwc/splenda for breakfast, piece of cheddar, lunch was an oopsie sandwich with bacon, lettuce, cheese, and mayo. Dinner was ribs with GUYS BBQ sauce and dessert was 2 oopsies, one with whipped cream and one with sugar-free raspberries and whipped cream. I have been craving sweets so I'm sticking with my oopsie concoctions. I need to pick up some more recipes so I don't get bored.

Shari ~ WOW! I'm so jealous your trip is already here!!! Have a great time!!! love you too!!!

Deb ~ Can't wait to hear your drop for the week!!!

Pati ~ You are doing fantastic! Are you measuring inches as well? Remember when the scale doesn't move much you are shrinking!

Irene ~ Nice drop You guys all make me want to start a round and get firmly into the 180's. Summer is almost here and I want to be smaller NOW

You've done wonderfully this round. A wrap up sounds like it's due. You'll rock P3 and with exercise too?

Summer is almost here and I want to be smaller NOW
Definitely kicking arse and taking names on this Atkins ain't ya?!?!?! CONGRATS GRACIE! (and talk about food porn!?! You made me salivate with the ribs!! LOL

That's a great NSv! Woohoo! Be you're down!! There will be stalls, but you sound like you're in it for the long haul and will certainly reap the rewards for it! Great job!

Progress!
That's scary Julie!! Maybe cut out the exercise until your PI is over. The losses are nice but you need to take care of yourself. A 3 mile hike on P2 would kill me

Hi all

Goose for me today but that's OK. Yesterday I ate a little off plan (about 800-900 cals, P3ish) but I don't even care what the numbers are because I felt for once in a long time I listened to my body, ate what I desired, and didn't over do it. AND, all that without over-analyzing things in my head or white knuckling it. So I consider that a NSV For me, this process is more about getting my head/emotions settled then it really is about weight loss.

Pati and Gracie- yay for reaching mini goals and lows!

Julie- hope those unpleasant symptoms have gone away!

Deb- hope you're doing well, sounds like you are

To me, that seems like you're already at your mini goal, no? So to you!! What do you have planned for your mini load?
Thanks! I do feel better now. Can you tell me more about your spinach shake? Did I miss it?

Deb-it's finally the weekend! Well, in a few hours it will be where you are .

Gracie-woohoo!! That's wonderful!! I can't lose like that on Atkins anymore . Wish I could! You're doing great and it sounds like you're enjoying the food too! Bonus! thanks for your concern, I'm feeling better now. It was a bit concerning.

Hi everyone else . I hope you're doing well.

Well, I'm down another 1.1 today! I'm at 152.8, well into the normal range for my height. Surprised and pleased with that. I can't decide what is working so well... I feel good. Mentally sharp, warm hand and feet, temp up to 98.3!!, plenty of energy. It's really quite amazing how good I feel on this batch of Rx hcg. I have always knows I have a hormone imbalance but have given up on actually getting it treated. I am doing well on my thyroid supplement, but definitely don't usually feel this sharp and focused. It's nice .

I am taking it easier lately. Only walking as exercise, and gently at that. I guess the hike was overdoing it? I tend to have low blood pressure anyways, and occasionally get light headed if I rise too quickly. That episode the other day was the worst one I'd had in a long time, but I jumped up and started to walk quickly to chase my puppy who was misbehaving.

So, to clarify, what's the low down on the 40 days? Is that supposed to be 40 total injections? Or 40 injections on vlcds? Is that not necessarily ironclad these days? Immunity not as likely? Even with the Rx? Anyone have thoughts?

Thanks Juls! My mini load will be eating off plan but low carb *fingers crossed* I will be out ALL day starting at 6 AM! We're going to a fashion/makeup show. Followed by mini facials and make overs. Then home for a bit to get ready to go to a bowling party. Not sure how things will pan out food wise but I'll do my best. Not concerned. I do think I will get rid of the scale for a few days after tomorrow to not panic too much LOL

I can not believe how much weight you're losing and without much effort and feeling great.
I do believe your hike was too much for what you are eating. Glad you are feeling better and taking it easier

I know nothing about 40 days but would love to see what others say!

Pati-ooh, that sounds like so much fun!! Will there be photos of the "new you" to shar? Makeovers are a blast and while you're losing weight what a boost that will give. Enjoy your fun day!!

Well, the reading I've done says at I should only inject 40days of the rx hcg or risk immunity. I supposed I could have skipped a weekly dose and extended it, but who would have predicted I'd be losing well on vlcd38!! I'm still gonna play it by ear. I would ideally like to be back in the 140's by the wedding in my the end of August. Originally I planned a 3 week round end of may through mid June then stabilize the summer. I may need a longer break after these drops though. I might do better to do a short round after July 5 and still be dabbling in p4 for the trip late August. Hmmm. Not sure what to do. I suppose a longer break is wise at this point.

WOW.. it is all I can think of to say Julie!! AMAZING!!!

The whole immunity thing is very debated these days. Dr. Emma keeps her patients on HCG for months until they have lost all they want to lose. In her opinion, there is no immunity. After all, HCG is a natural hormone our body produces. Would a pregnant woman become immune to her HCG after 40 days?...

I'll be back later to catch up!.. YIKES.. so much going on girls. so many losses!!..

Thanks Julie!!

Well I weighed in at 6am when I got up and am down 9 pounds this week! Started at 188 and today was 179. I am ok with that! I didn't have to see the ups and downs all week, or the goose eggs.. and when I had my official weigh in I am HAPPY!!!

Heading out to the store this morning, and cannot force myself to eat anything. I know I will be gone for awhile, but I am just not hungry. I will take a cheese stick with me just in case..

I love being rogue so much!! I eat pretty well and get plenty of protein. I usually get around 90-100 grams a day, and I don't worry about fat. I don't ADD fat to anything except my coffee, but I don't worry about it on my meat. I also have cheese if I want it.

So here I go into week 2, and I bet I will really be glad that I don't weigh daily this week! This is usually my worst losing week ahead.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!

Good morning! Hope everyone had a good weekend. Yesterday was Erin's 5th Birthday so we had family over to celebrate. I kept it low-carb with wings, roast beef, and deviled eggs. I made other yummy stuff too that I did not touch. I will weigh again on Friday as my rings feel a little snug like I'm retaining water. I got a lot of nice compliments yesterday that I looked great and lost weight. I'm still enjoying Atkins induction but the thought of a quick round of hhcg still lingers in my head. I keep thinking a quick 15 pounds would be nice!!! The hhcg definitely spoils us.

How is everyone else today?

Julie, how long are you going to keep going?

Gracie, you did well for a party too!!!!

I'm exhausted! *yawn* I wish I could go back home and go back to sleep. I feel this will be an extremely long day! Aside from being tired, I have to bake a trillion cupcakes tonight for a fundraiser for my son's fraternity. CALGON TAKE ME AWAY!!!

Let's see. I didn't do too bad considering....Here's the down low on the weight:

Saturday (load day 1) = 215
Sunday (load day 2) = 216.5
4/21 (vlcd 1) = 217
4/22 (vlcd 2) = 214 (-3 lbs)
4/23 (vlcd 3) = 212 (-2 lbs)
4/24 (vlcd 4) = 211 (-1 lbs) - This day was a complete BUST! CHEATED
4/25 (vlcd 5) = 210.5 (-.5 lbs)
4/26 (vlcd 6) = 209.5 (-1 lbs)
4/27 (vlcd 7) = 208.5 (-1 lbs) = Feeling crappy. Ate off plan.
4/28 (vlcd 8) = 209 (+.5 lb)
4/29 (vlcd 9) = 207 (-2 lbs)
4/30 (vlcd 10) = 207 (BIG FAT GOOSE EGG! 0)
5/1 (vlcd 11) = 206.5 (-.5 lb)
5/2 (vlcd 12) = 205.5 (-1 lb)
5/3 (vlcd 13) = 205 (-.5) Hit goal! *but cheat day was in store for this day*
5/4 (vlcd 14) = 206.5 (+1.5 lbs) goal was short lived. Ate low carb all day.
5/5 (vlcd 15) = 206 (-.5 lb) back to vlcds today

TOTAL (include load weight cuz it makes me feel better) = 11.0 lbs

TOTALLY not concerned with the few lbs up and down because of the weekend. (1) I was planning on it. (2) I didn't eat too badly (ate mostly low carb) (3) It will come off soon

I'm debating the length I will carry on with injections. I'm bored with the food because I am trying to stay as close to protocol as possible. I eat more than allowed (protein wise) but I need variety.

I will take this week to ponder what to do next or if I should just carry on? We shall see

Hope you all have a WONDERFUL day!

BTW - I'm actually reconsidering JUDDD (I enjoyed it...) I remember some of you tried it (as did I) and I. I don't think I lost on it tho. It was good maintenance type of eating but I really don't recall why I went off of it (Probably cuz like everything else, I over do the eating and give up! )
