Always made mine with cream cheese. Never tried cottage cheese or mayo. Did you like the mayo ones? I absolutely loved the consistency of the cream cheese ones. I would limit the # of oopsies I would make because I found myself reaching for them constantly and eating them just like that with nothing on em

HAHA at all the dosing stuff.. I think that is why I put off RX for so long because that dosing talk just made my head spin!!!

Now that I get it, it is not hard, but I thought you had to be a chemist to figure it out at first!! Pati was doing it correctly all along, and Julie, you crack me up.. but that is totally something I would do.

I remember the first time I was mixing a batch, I sat at the table with gloves on, and alcohol and cotton balls, scared to death I was going to mess it up. Boy was I a site to see!

Anyway!! all is good, and you girls will do fine!

Gracie all that food porn sounds delish!! You too Irene! I guess I better get all my favorites in before I start Sunday! Excited to lose again!!

The mayo ones are pretty good except I overcooked them a bit. The recipe I got on here said 300 degrees for an hour. Well then I saw another one that said 1/2 hour - BIG DIFFERENCE I'm sure the cream cheese ones are wondeful. I'm trying to avoid cream cheese because it stalls me. I did read you can make with mayo but then put a small dollop of cream cheese in the middle to make a danish - OMG! Sounds awesome. I could even add some sugar free preserves OK, enough of the food talk! You are on protocol young lady and I am strict induction!!!

I think the biggest reason I've never done RX is because I'm scared to mix myself! If I could go to the store and buy them premade I would've already done it

at the mixing! I had been watching videos on it and was distracted! One guys has you actually withdraw 10ml and toss it away, then take out 1 ml to dissolve the hcg then add it back to the bac water to make 20 ml total. Somehow I was mixing that up with what I had planned to be 10ml in the glass vial! you should have seen me! i was trying to do it stealthily while my mil was upstairs! oh well still had 3 syringes leftover from before (hope they're still good?) and then I'll try the new ones. It'll be odd dosing so much!

Those who shied away from the Rx b/c of mixing, don't few bad. I'm a chemist! I worked in the pharmaceutical and food industry for 8 years before having my girls! Even I was intimidated by it. But, so far, so good!

And I too am struggling with your oopsies and goodies...soon I will be back in P3!! Enjoy it ladies!!

Good Morning My Dear Friends!!! Seems a few of our fellow buddies have gone MIA? Hopefully you are all doing well....

For the rest of you, how are you guys doing?

Me? I'm doing pretty good. So far. I am merely on VLCD #3 today and already I don't want to eat the allowed foods! Have any of you stayed within the calorie limits using other stuff? Like I have organic all natural premade chicken patties but they have other "stuff" in it (florentine I think?). Anyway they are 150 cals. They taste delish. Do you guys think substituting stuff within 500-800 total calories for the day would continue to give me the same results? Have any of you tried that way?

Now that I am done ranting...Here are my numbers:

Saturday (load day 1) = 215
Sunday (load day 2) = 216.5
4/21 (vlcd 1) = 217
4/22 (vlcd 2) = 214 (-3 lbs)
4/23 (vlcd 3) = 212 (-2 lbs)

I love the numbers but am fully remembering why I don't like the diet. It's not even about the low calories but more so the not so good food.

I saw all those "susie" videos on her cycling and it seems so far (although she hasn't done it for a long time) it's working for her. She surpassed her lowest weight (if I saw/heard correctly). Interesting!! I think I would venture into trying it. After a full round...Possibly! (Gosh, I'm so wishy washy! :P)

Well, I guess I better get some work done. I'll check in periodically throughout the day....Have a great one my friends

Morning ladies! Just a quick pop in before the crazy travel day starts....

Yesterday was awesome. I did a lot of thinking and my husband and I went out to dinner for his birthday. I told him about my doing hcg (I hadn't told anyone for fear of judgement but now that he's seen me shrink for himself he's a believer). So he's super supportive. I left out some details he didn't need to know (injections, anyone?) but I think now he has a better understanding of my weight loss strategy. And I don't feel so sneaky.

And- Yesterday I was thinking about when to hop back on the train. I have been stabilizing successfully now for 3 weeks and looking ahead, my life ain't slowing down. So I thought to myself, I'm going to take a page from my own book back in Feb. My life WON"T slow down so I just have to work around it and so ladies, YESTERDAY I LOADED! (I figured this out in the AM so I had the entire day). Mostly clean loading except for a delicious piece of chocolate cake at the restaurant.

Pati, now we can eat our celery sticks and black coffee together.

I'm hoping for a clean 28 day round to get me to my goal or at least closer to it then I am now. So today, I fly out and again it'll be back to P2 on the road for me.

Preload: 136.6, After load: 139.4! We'll see how this goes.

Oh and, look at what you guys get up to during the day! I should stop in here more often!

Great job!!! You are losing nicely. What are the ingredients on the chicken patties? I would think as long as there isn't any hidden sugars or a lot of fat I would give it a shot. You can try it and weigh tomorrow and if there's a jump up don't have them anymore.

I am doing good. I've been perfect on plan and I can tell I'm losing because my clothes are all fitting very good. I wore a gray cotton shirt yesterday that used to be tight in the arms and stomach - it was loose yesterday I'm fighting a cold so I'm not weighing until maybe Friday or Saturday morning. My rings have been snug in the mornings and I just took a Dayquil. The pollen here is terrible and I swear I sneeze about 50X per day. My nose is stuff then runny... GROSS I don't think I have any allergies as I've been tested - just think it's a cold. I knew I was gonna get one because DD Erin sneezed seriously directly into my face

How is everyone else today? Please come back Shari, LoLo, Tommyswife, Stina.... The support here is great!!!

I'm glad you told your hubby what you were doing. It took alot for me to tell mine but I figured, I'm injecting, if something happens, he needs to know Both him and my son (21) think I'm crazy. It doesn't help that they HATE and PASS OUT at the sight of needles! BIG BABIES!!!

BTW - did you use hcg yesterday when loading?

Thank you, Gracie. I think the patties that Pati want to eat have 150 cals and 7 grams of fat. I will hold off and possible try them for the weekend? I need to get online and look for more hcg friendly recipes. Tonight, I'm doing the orange "sorbet".

Edited to add the ingredients: chicken raised without antibiotics, fontina cheese (pasteurized milk, cheese culture, salt, enzymes), spinach. contains less than 2% of the following: vinegar powder, sea salt, seasoning (salt, spice, dehydrated garlic, parsley), roasted garlic, dextrose and natural flavor.

I feel you on your allergies. Mine are KILLING me I can barely breath. My throat (from scratching it) is so swollen and my sneezing is out of this world!!!! Hope you feel better soon, kid!!!!

Wonderful job Pati!!!! I so agree with you on the food, which is why i ALWAYS do it my way. I lose and I maintain. I just have to watch the total number of calories. I am probably not the best to answer that question...

Go IRENE!!! You got this girl, and you will be at goal in no time. Yes, did you inject when you loaded? Congrats on telling hubby. Mine always knew and encourages me..

Gracie, this is fantastic that your clothes are fitting better! Always a good sign!! Sorry about the allergies, I am the same way. UGH!! Love the outside, but hate the darn pollen!

I would try them on the weekend. What real harm will 150 cals of meat do? Seriously, only you will be able to tell if you like them, or if they agree with you. Good luck dear, and hang in there!!!

Ok, so I FINALLY got a new computer at work.. I love it! The only bad part is I have to reinstall everything myself. I don't mind, because I do know how to, but it is time consuming. I have been doing nothing but that all morning.

Anyway!!! I have already started loading.... Ok, not what I am supposed to do yet!!! I am going to actually start injecting tomorrow, will load lightly, and I do mean compared to a normal load, thurs, fri and sat! YEP I will get all the food I want into and out of my system before Sunday day 1.

Today's weight is up... and I don't really care. Isn't it funny when we know we are going to do a round, I kinda don't worry too much.

Excited to get going again!!

Great job! The cheese is the only off plan ingredient in the patties, so if you're ok with that, give it a shot! I too get a bit bored with my P2 menu, it's usually only a few things that I rotate through...but I feel like it's a small sacrifice for the greater gain (or loss?.) I make chicken lettuce wraps and have boars head ever roast chicken breast each day, usually an apple and a some strawberries and coffee with hnh. Some days I throw in a quest bar if I'm out too much or exercise and feel like I need it.

Wow! You're already below my goal weight! glad you told dh, it's tough to keep the secret and follow the plan...it'll be nice to have his open and informed support . You did well travelling last time, I'm sure you'll do great again. It certainly adds to the challenge!

Gracie-hope your cold passes quickly! Sorry you're sick, but woohoo for better feeling clothes!! Nice! KUTGW!

Day 1 back on plan under my belt. It was an odd day, out most of it, got a massage and saw my chiro for my neck and I'm still down. I never did buy that lotion absorption thing. Down 2 lbs to 162. LDW from before my PI was 161.6, so I'm almost back to LDW. Should be there or lower by tomorrow. I'd love for this "cycling" thing to work. Hopefully I can check out that video and be inspired .

Welcome back to vlcds You are so determined. You will do great!
Are you cycling now?

You know, I fell for that "no oils, lotions" stuff when I first did P&I. I was soooooo paranoid. Til I met Deb

BTW - Julie, Thanks for the Boars Head suggestions. I don't know why I never thought of deli for my meats! That would be great for lunch (as I normally sit at my desk and eat)....LOVE IT!

Yes! I live on the boars head lunch meats-all real food, no nitrates, or nitrites or fillers. The roast beef isn't bad either .

Good Morning. I finally ended that long round where I was cheating, took a break and started again last week (loading Friday & Saturday) and I'm down 9.2 pounds in only 3 days. My best loss by far (even when I was originally introduced to hhcg June, 2011 at 225.6.). After my first day, I had already dropped 5.2.

I'm rogue as I'm eating ground turkey instead of hamburger meat and am mixing veggies (spinach & kale) in my morning green shake, take fish oil capsules and use flax meal (fiber). My husband and I made a bet, when I get through this round without cheating, he will have to clean the whole house.

We have a planned outing this Saturday at a sushi place so I know I will go up a little, but it will come right back off and doesn't count towards our bet. I'm also using my elliptical, but only for about 5 minutes since I am eating so few calories. The longest this round will last will be 60 days, but am aiming for 40 days since I know I won't reach my goal in this round. There is no rush.

Much and continued success to us all!
