Scale the same for me today....that's ok. Getting settled back into the routine of CAD has been easier than I had expected!

Today's RM will be my evening meal because it's book club night and I want to be able to eat what the hostess is serving. I just have to be careful with the time.

My first CM was a burger patty and 2 farm eggs. We just found a place to buy farm eggs so we're really happy!

I will probably have a very small CM about an hour and a half before I leave for book club so that I'm not starving when I get there.

Good for you.

For me, I did vegetable beef soup for lunch, and we were all starving tonight, so did hamburger helper for supper, but with 2 lbs ground beef.
See how the scale does tomorrow morning

Great to see you ladies still hanging in there with me. I don't want to be talking to myself

I was at a new low this morning. I'm hoping it sticks so I will have a new weight on Monday. 149.6

Yesterday
Breakfast CM- coffee w/ 2% milk
Lunch RM- A huge plate of boiled potatoes covered in red chili sauce, 8 chewy chocolate chip cookies and a cup of watermelon. Diet soda all day. I was out of tea.

I even had an evening CM- 4 oz ribeye and another smaller helping of potatoes with chili sauce before I thought about what I had done

Enjoy your weekend!

I'm going to do a straight low carb day today. I wasn't able to stick to my hour at book club last night. It's hard to control that when someone else is in charge of the meal!

I see that my feet are a little puffy.....she served pizza and I ate some....I don't normally eat grains and this is why I'm puffy. So I think straight low carb will be best for me today. I have another thing to go to tomorrow and I'm sure there will be food. Hope I can do better at that!

I've got some small ribeye steaks to cook today so I'll have one for dinner. I have leftover chicken legs for lunch. Will make some salad for both meals. Eggs for breakfast!

I did an all protein day yesterday. Still have some retention from the grains but the scale is the same so I'm good.

I'm going to a Pampered Chef party today so I'm sure there will be stuff I shouldn't eat. I will do my best.

I'll be having eggs for breakfast and lunch will be chicken legs and some salad.

I ate leftovers last night (amounts to not a CM) but scale only up .5, so I am happy with that.

Looking at on -plan all day today.

Today I struggled to stay on plan. For some reason I wanted to eat all day long. I did have a cm snack and I usually never do that. It seemed to help. It's not that I'm carb craving, just that I can not get satisfied. I don't think I had enough protein today.
I'm gonna be upset if I wake to a gain after not cheating even though I wanted to.

So I went to the Pampered Chef party.....food served was pizza....ugh! It was ok and I only had 3 very small pieces....what a waste of an RM! So tonight I'm going to make a nice salad and I have a few chicken legs to heat up. Tomorrow is a new day!

I ended up with some roast chicken breast and almonds for my CM.

See what the scale (and the salt) does......

sorry you had to waste your RM. Better luck tomorrow!!

Anybody have any comment or thoughts on doing all day CMS after a day when you end up with 2 RMs in one day?

Can you analyse what you ate over the last 3 days and see if there's anything in it that might have triggered those cravings?

I did that recently when I had 2 carb-containing meals within one day, on the 18th & 19th because on the 18th I kinda had to eat some carbs in the evening, and I didn't gain from that, though I don't know if the two were connected.

Bread! I had a sandwich both Saturday and yesterday. I know I don't do well with bread, but I was looking for quick and easy.

I realized this morning that I had 2 food items that are not allowed on a CM according to the original CAD book. Almonds and pork rinds. Lesson learned.

Back to 151.0 this morning. My rings, which were spinning on my fingers last night, are very tight this morning. I'm blaming the sodium. I don't think I even drank 32 oz of fluids all day either. Not good at all.

Yesterday
Breakfast CM- coffee w/ powdered creamer (also not CM approved but out of milk)
Lunch RM- Egg salad sandwich, potatoes, 4 cookies and a diet soda.
4PM CM- Chicken salad on 6 pork rinds and a handful of almonds

I gotta do better today and have more protein too! I'm very happy that I didn't gain after a week of eating potatoes and cookies but a little sad that I didn't see a loss (other than dropping back down to 151 from 153.4 on Tuesday and Wednesday). It happens.

Did finish the month with a 1.5# loss. That is better news than I have had for several months.

Hope everyone else has good scale days

Yes, I discovered that even the smallest deviation outside my RM halts weightloss and inch loss, it's weird but true.

Had the usual today, black teas outside my RM which was grilled chicken breast with gravy, buttery mashed veg, then half a gluten-free muffin and two small choc-ices, and finally coffee with cream. NOM!!!

Scale was down a pound...works for me! Today is my oldest granddaughter's birthday (how do I have a granddaughter that is now 15 years old!). We're taking her out to lunch today. I'm sure she'll pick the stir fry place to go. So that will be my RM for today.

I've done all CM days here and there when I've had a less than good food day. They work fine for me. I have a problem with grains so I try my best to not eat them at all. That's why I wasn't happy that I had pizza yesterday. I guess I'm not at the point where I can just eat the toppings when I'm at someone else's house. At home when DH wants pizza I just eat the toppings and I'm fine.

I have to say I'm glad I came back to CAD because I'm finally losing again! I have been stuck for a long time in the same range of numbers. I'm a very slow loser so to see the new low today was really good for me!

I know that part of the reason I've had trouble losing was lack of decent sleep and chronic stress. Since I started back on CAD I've been sleeping better and although I still have the stress I'm hoping that things will change soon.

Nicole, I was 165 in March this year, and never thought I'd see the 140's again. It didn't last long, but I know it'll be back in time. You'll get there, so don't give up
No bread today, so no cravings or urges to overeat. I haven't even needed a CM!
Hopefully tomorrow morning the scale will be good to me.

I had my stir fry RM and dessert, too. I should have shared a dessert with DH because it was just too much food. I'm keeping my CM tonight small.....just don't want to eat much.

151.0 still! On the dot still! I really need a whoosh

Yesterday
Breakfast CM- coffee w/ milk
Lunch RM- 4 oz Baked Salmon, cup of pasta salad with peas n carrots, 1 tbsp peanut butter, & a cup of ice cream. Unsweetened tea all day, at least 70 oz.

I'm a little frustrated, but also happy I have not gained at all. Calories are in a deficit, so I dunno. I need to figure out how to shake it up a bit.

Been the same weight for 4 days.......but holding steady, not bouncing back up, though.
So sticking with CAD, because I have been staying on plan, with this way of eating.

Feet are a little puffy today which will mean a bounce up on the scale. It's from the Oriental food yesterday, I'm sure. Will be careful today.

Today's RM will be our evening meal....we have houseguests coming and we also have some family coming to help split wood today (we had 4 dead trees taken down and have to split it all....we're sharing the wood with DS and BIL/SIL). I'll have a lot of hungry people here later today!

I'll be making sloppy joes, a big salad and an oven potato recipe using shredded hashbrowns.

Hi, everyone! I couldn't believe it's been two weeks since I've updated my numbers. Time really slips away when you're remodeling and moving. Thankfully, all the hard stuff will be coming to an end soon, and I'm hoping I can eat more meals at home. Lately I've been eating two meals out for every one meal I eat at home, it seems! We have to be out of the old place by next week, and we're almost done with all of the hard remodeling at the new place. So far, we've washed and painted walls, scrubbed down the new place, moved our belongings and furniture, torn up rocks and box hedges in the front yard, torn up and tossed the back deck, laid sod in the front and back yard, rooted trellises and planted star jasmine and other flowers, not to mention numerous little jobs we've completed that I can't even think of right now. PHEW.

The last big job we have to do is pour concrete . . . inside the house! The house we bought was built in 1972, and it has a weird atrium hole in the middle of it that has no foundation and contains rocks all the way down to earth. It's an 8' X 10' rectangle, and we're going to have to put down about 4 inches of concrete. I am not looking forward to this.

With that said, I weighed today and was 108 flat. I'm up .2 from my normal weight, but it's hardly surprising considering I've been eating like a beast lately even while sticking to CAD principles! It's so awesome to see all of your successes, and I can't wait until I can devote more time to weighing, buying food, cooking, etc.

Great to hear from you Kat! Moving is a big, tiring job and I'm glad you'll soon be done. I think it's so wonderful how well you have maintained your weight through all chaos. Congrats!

The scale hates me this morning. Up 1.6 lbs.

Yesterday
Breakfast CM- Coffee w/ milk
Lunch RM- 3 Tacos with sour cream, ice cream cone and unsweetened tea.

almost afraid to say anything........scale has been steady all week, and dropped half pound this morning. Going to go back and look, but best results I have had in quite awhile. And seem to be staying on plan without a lot of trouble.

Reminds me......need to go figure out something for lunch!!
