Good morning to everyone. I am so ready to get these #'s off in 2014.
I know this will be a great year for all of us and together we CAN and WILL do this!!

Goal for January - 135.
WEEK ONE
WED 01/01 - 142.
THU 01/02 - 141.8
FRI 01/03
SAT 01/04
SUN 01/05

I am still pretty much eating just one meal a day and this really keeps my satisfied and full all day. That way, I don't have to prepare but one meal for me and it keeps away the cravings. I just look forward to tomorrow and another nice meal I can have then. I am trying to eat a variety of foods and that keeps my satisfied. If there is anything in particular that I want, I prepare it and am ready to eat it at my next meal the next day.
I am eating several carbs as well as lots of protein.

I am sure this plan might not be for everyone, but it is great for me. It has certainly taken away the urge to binge. I told my cardiologist about my doing this and she said as long as I ate my large meal in the morning or midday, it was okay. But, she wouldn't agree to eating like this in the evening, which is okay with me because I couldn't eat like this in the evening at all.
Today's menu:
Fish
Sloppy jo meat
Noodle casserole
homemade stuffing with veggies
salad w/dressing
blueberry cobbler
yogurt
Total calories - 1016

Wooooooohooooooo, I see people!!!!

Good to see everyone returning to the board, and everyone has done such a fabulous job in maintaining the weight! I think I am the only one that has to battle some serious holiday gain, it's all good though, there is only one day a year that I stuff myself with German Ginger Bread cookies

Good morning everyone!

It's a very chilly one here in Massachusetts today, woke to minus 17 degrees! My honey wanted to lure me in to go to Cabela's with him this morning, but I have no intentions on leaving this house! I will be all bundled up in my recliner watching movies all day and sipping hot tea

Also, something I just noticed last night, my little try at getting the challenge going failed miserably, I started all the weeks on Monday's, I guess even after 20 years of living in the states I am still stuck on German numbers

Went to my specialist yesterday for the results of my bone marrow...i've got what they call essential thrombocytosis...a rare blood disorder...and after looking into everything,i think it will be a blessing...the biggest thing that i've got to do is take an baby aspirin everyday cause i've got high platelets and it could give me blood clots or a strokes...and if it get higher there's medication to regulate the platelets...it suggested to eat better and exercise....so in the long run i'll be taking better care of myself and i'll diffenetly won't start smoking ever again..
