Good morning everyone!

Well I didn't make my goal for September, of course not! But it is all good, I am in no rush to lose as long as the scale goes down a little I am a happy camper! Obviously by body goes nuts as soon as I drop more than a couple of pounds a week, so I have to be smarter than the good ole bod


Goal for October-180 lbs

September 1st-187 lbs-October 1st- 183.8 ---down 3.2 pounds

Good morning all!!

Very little sleep last night, had to take my honey to the airport at 4 am, he is flying out to California to be there for the birth of his granddaughter. This is going to be a very tough couple of weeks for me, I have not been a single day without him in 5 years . Either I am going to eat myself silly those 2 weeks, or I'll won't eat at all Got to keep myself busy, I just might paint the bedroom



Goal for October-180 lbs

September 1st-187 lbs-October 1st- 183.8 ---down 3.2 pounds

Joann, I know what you mean about Chinese food. I love it, but when I eat it, I can gain so much water weight - usually anywhere from 5 to 10#.

I need to get with it, I've messed around all week...I'm still up 2.4 pounds, I at least want to get back to siggy weight by Monday, so I'm going low carb/low fat and watching my sodium intake. Thankfully I'm not into potato chips and other salty snacks, but since I started journaling my food..I'm amazed at the amount of sodium that is in processed food so I really try to stay away from it.

No breakfast this morning I wasn't hungry....lunch was a few ounces of pork loin.....hubby and I are going out for dinner, hopefully I can order a grilled chicken breast with a side salad.

Good morning everyone!

Sorry for being MIA, but I really hit a rough patch last week. My honey leaving for California has really thrown me for a loop, didn't sleep for days and of course ate all the comfort foods in sight. His granddaughter was born Saturday morning and in the afternoon the hospital and the place where they live had to be evacuated due to a more than 1000 acre wildfire, worried sick because I didn't know where they all were...and on top of that I have a sick cat! Kill me now!

Trying to do a major carb tetox today, get all that shredded wheat out of me, then may be I can actually brave the scale later on this week! May be by the end of the month (hopefully) I can weigh in less than on the first!

Well I did weigh in this morning, but more likely the weight will be back up tomorrow. Spent 7 hours in the ER with my cat last night, slept 2 hours, am completely dehydrated and have not eaten. It never ends does it...

Maryann, I know what you mean. I am prediabetic and really have to watch my carbs, too. I am sort of stuck again, but know if I keep with it, it will come down.
I am losing inches because my clothes are fitting better.
