But i did stop smoking as of tuesday...doing well with that...but the food comsumption is crazy...hungry all the time...got to get one thing at a time going...smoking i think is the most important one...

Good morning everyone!

Surprised at the scales today, but I did a Meat and Egg fast for the last couple of days to flush out some of this sodium and stored glycogen. Weekends are harder to do M/E so not sure if I can stick with it or just jump back on it on Monday


Goal for October--Weigh less than 183.8 lbs

Erica..we just do the best that we can...as long as we work on it.for me i couldn't believe that i could be healthy and get in shape if i was smoking,..,.so i had to attack that one first and from there the rest will fall i hope..any kind of addiction is hard to break...but i'm determine to win on that one..had colon cancer in 2005,wasn't smoking then but started 2 years ago and here is where everything stops...had a good time,smoking,eating,not exercising,...it's time to get back into the real world...sorry didn't mean to go on and on...

Hello everyone!

Did not weigh this morning due to WAY too much food last night (Maryann I'm right there with you with 2 dinners, may be even 3!) everything was on plan but I know it was too much salt/seasonings on the meats. Jugging water like crazy today!

Goal for October is to weigh less than 183.8 pounds.

My acid reflux has been just awful this week..I don't know what has set it off, but I have been miserable...I'll be doing low fat for a while to see if that helps.

Happy with this mornings weigh in. Had a grilled chicken sandwich for lunch (McDonald's) and 2 pumpkin spice lattes made with skim milk from starbuck's. Tuesday's are tough bc I take my granddaughter to preschool for 2 hours and waste time at my dd's salon since its close.
Going to eat mostly veggies today. I need them.

Went out to dinner....turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, and a few bites of stuffing. Guess I'll see in the morning how it effects my weigh in. I just didn't want grilled chicken.

Good morning everyone!

Just popping in real quick to say hello. I have been pretty good with my eating, no pig-outs, and been avoiding sodium like the plague. HOWEVER, I been sitting at 187 pounds for days now, drinking water like crazy to get rid of the retention but it is not working! I drink and drink but it is not "coming out" like it suppose to, waiting a few more days to see if it changes and if not I will have to make a doctor appointment, looks like my kidneys are not very happy with me right now...


Maryann...You have been doing fabulous this week! Keep up the good work!!!


Autumn...I hope you are feeling better!

Mommy...Good luck with JUDDD! I think it is a great way of eating and did it myself beginning of last year, lost 30 pounds on it, however, I also have to blame JUDDD for my eating disorder that I am still battling now, over a year later, hopefully it will work for you!

Tay... to the board! Congratulations on 20 pounds lost!

Hope...You are doing great! Remember slow and steady ALWAYS wins the race!!!

Finally a little drop on the scale today, still not sure what is going on here but I am riding it out. Will however limit my water intake to 64 ounces not counting coffee and teas, that seems to be the best amount for my body.

Hope...Sodium is my biggest problem, bigger than carbs I have noticed, and the gain from sodium takes a lot longer to lose than the carb gain!

Maryann...Thanks! I am hanging in there, I have come to far to give up now!

Mommy...I started JUDDD at the beginning of last year and did it for 6 months, lost 30 pounds on it but then after the six month I developed a horrible binging problem that I am still now, after over a year trying to get under control, I gained back over 20 pounds of the 30 I had lost. First I thought it was just me, but then browsing through the low carb forums here I found a lot more people that had the same issue. What baffled me is that I could sit down and eat 6000-7000 calories and still be hungry, eat crap I don't even like, as long as it's chewable or drinkable, I ate and drank until I made myself physically ill, and that several times a week! At my heaviest weight, 260 lbs, I NEVER ate like that, so I knew I had a problem. The binging days have gotten a lot less lately, not having them 3-4 times a week anymore and not the high calories anymore but it's still there. Right now I am just trying to find a way of eating that I can sustain without my body going crazy on me....

Erika, know what you mean about JUDD. I tried it, too, and my blood sugar just wouldn't handle that. It got too low on my DD and then I went out of control on my UD. Glad some have success on it, but just not for me.

Hope all have a great day and hugs to all of you that are struggling. I certainly know how that is. Am doing well right at the moment but have really been struggling with this for months. Was down to 132 and gained and just can't seem to get there again.

Didn't do much on my first week; gained 8 oz..



Sunday 10/20;167...
Monday 10/21;167.8..Started JUDD..544 cal..DD
Tuesday 10/22;165.2......2,190...too many calories...UD
Wednesday 10/23;167.2.....717 again too many calories...got too slow down..DD
Thursday 10/24;166.2..UD..got to control...we're not in the depression


Ericka.. that's why i've started JUDD,,my eating was out of control,binging all the time..got to get control again..i figure i was going to give JUDD a go,at least it's telling me how much calories to have,nothing to lose at this point...

Tay for how long did you do JUDD and how much did you lose?? it's too bad when something works for you that something happens and you have to change your way of eating..

Maryann..hang in there girl...you can do it..restaurant eating will do it everytime...who wants to eat a salad,when there so many other interesting variety...
