Well, I won't be weighing in today, Birthday party for my granddaughter yesterday, too much food and too much salty food, so I will spare myself the look at the numbers (non potty means water holding)...Back on the healthy track today!



Goal Weight for September=177 pounds
Goal number 2= NO binging---binge free days=16


Week one-----187.0 lbs---181.2---5.8 lbs lost

I'm inching down a few ounces at a time.....it may be time to start weighing only once or twice a week....I get discouraged if I don't see a loss when I've been on plan.....but I also know that I can put on a few pounds in no time if I don't weigh every day.... I can't sleep either....not enough sleep means no weight loss for me

You are doing great, Erika, and are so right about my water weight gain. Got rid of it today. I am so happy that you have been binge free for several days. I used to have a problem with that, too, and still would if I would give in to it again.

Autumn, I know what you mean about the scales. I get discouraged, too, when the scales don't cooperate, but trying to get over that. I know if I follow plan, it will come off eventually. Like you said, if I don't weigh, then I get off plan.

Helloooooo everyone, I am back!!!



Had a fabulous weekend down in Connecticut, HOWEVER, I refuse to step on the scale for a few days No binges but also no restrictions on food whatsoever, so I know I am up SEVERAL pounds! And I don't care, it was all worth it, and I can worry about losing weight BETWEEN holidays and Birthdays, not on the day!

Hope...How does the WW point system work?

Maryann...It is good to see you!

Autumn... When was your Birthday? Mine was Friday! And don't worry about a few pounds of water weight, it will come right back off!

Erika, you asked about the WW program that I am doing. It is an old one maybe in 72 (not sure) that you go by exchanges and not points. I am really eating a more balanced diet doing that. You have an allotment of all food groups - bread, protein, fruit, milk, fat exchanges and mark off when you do each so you know what you have eaten during the day. Little less food than when I strictly count calories, but am eating more healthy when I do this. Think maybe that is how the old Richard Simmons plan worked, too. I always lost better than the new WW plan. I just gave up on doing that because it was so discouraging for me since I just wasn't losing.

Bit the bullet and weighed myself, and I'm right back where I started the month, oh well, what was I thinking of trying to lose weight in September, when I have not only my own birthday, but my daughters and both of my grandkids...September is party month!!!....
