Joann, I know it had to be wonderful getting over that 130 hump. I'll sure be glad when I can say that.

Maryann, you are doing great. Looks like you are down two more pounds. My weight is only slightly under yours. I've got a long way to go considering my height and build.

Hi to everyone else.

I'm doing great and rarely getting hungry. I need to get myself back into a good exercise program. I've wanted a new bicycle for years and still wish I had one. Do any of you ever ride for exercise?

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if you all exercise as well. If so, do you eat back some of the calories burned, bank them, or pretend that they aren't there?

Also, I would love to know your height, and how low do you keep your calories.

I am 4' 11". I try to stay between 1000-1300 calories. I haven't been exercising regularly for the past month, before that it was 4-5 days per week - cardio and resistance.

Yes, I do some type of exercise every day. I walk 1 mile, and do some floor excercises.
I am 5'4.5" and am trying to stay below 1000 cals to lose these last pesky 5 pounds.

Hi Rotay,

Because of my age (59) I am not able to eat huge amounts like I used to without paying the consequences (weight gain). Since I mainly eat low carb, I find that I stay full. I drink a lot of liquids during the day to keep my tummy full and basically eat one large meal per day with some light snacking.
My menus vary from day to day, but here is yesterdays:
Breakfast:
2 coffee with HWC and sf sweetner

Lunch
was out and about, didn't have time to eat, and wasn't hungry.

Dinner:
chicken fajitas (chicken with peppers & onions)
2 lc bars
sf jello (2 containers)
2 T peanut butter

I estimated the calories to be around 1000-1200. I need to keep better track of them.

Thank you, Rotary. I have been struggling for a few weeks. I was 132 back a few weeks and then went out of control and gained. Just couldn't seem to get back on track until now. I am determined this time and have lost and gained all of my life.
