Cambridge Diet anyone?

Hi everyone. I'm new to all this so need all the help going! I would love to hear from anyone in the same boat, or who once was where I'm starting from.
I have been advised to start the Cambridge Diet to lose weight prior to having a gastric bypass. I tip the scales at 414 pounds and I suffer from lymphodema which doesn't help and now I have a degree of heart strain. I get really panicky about my condition thinking that I'm going to drop dead at any second. I start the Cambridge Diet tomorrow and, living alone and being quite isolated, I thought that joining this Forum would be a great way of having an understanding support team. Any advice would be welcomed. Thanks!

Welcome

I am not familiar with the Cambridge diet but I know I always feel better when I have a plan to follow. You are headed in a great direction and have a lot to look forward to. Try to focus on that and leave the what ifs behind. Wishing you the best. Glad to have you on board.

Thanks for those kind words! The Cambridge is a meal replacement program with the usual shakes, soups, bars and set meals. I am looking at it not as a diet but as a life saver and am quite excited about it. How weird is that! How much weight have you lost since starting?
