April goal is to get to or below 180.
Weight loss started Jan. 12th at 212lbs. April 1st started at 187.2

End of Week One - 182.0

Week One - Sun 3/31 185.2, Mon 4/1 187.2, Tue 4/2 184.8, Wed 4/3 184.2, Thu 4/4 183.6, Fri 4/5 183.6, Sat 4/6 182.0

Week Two - Sun 4/7 181.8 had a haircut to get that .2 loss (visceral fat is now at 9 according to the scale which is the upper end of the normal range)

Sharon have a look at glucosamine which helps with joints. I use it occassionally when my joints seem to be creaking more than usual. Calf is feeling better may try an extended walk or slow run tomorrow.

Erika thanks, I think I'm just pushing myself pretty hard to reach goal so I can get back to eating a bit more Now if only the belly skin would shrink as quickly as the fat loss!

Wukong...Erika is right! You are one Dang Losing Machine! Thanks for sharing your experience with glucosamine! My daughter told me back in middle of Feb. about a friend of hers that used that and said it worked. I didn't get it as it was right before my first chiropractor appt. which resulted in my first alignment. However, I've been thinking about it and believe it or not was at Walgreens last night and checked it out. Decided to wait to google to see what others said, but with your result of success using it along with my daughter's friend have decided me.

I decided against your other supplement you're taking due to me not really knowing what health conditions I might have so just adding Green Tea to my daily regiment.

Going to try some cardio today so may be up tomorrow. I'll see if lemon water, one cup of green tea, and glucosamine helps the cause for faster repair.

Wukong...Good haircut! Good heavens, you're going to be at goal so very soon! Calf still feeling better?

Erika...Maybe try sipping lemon water after dinner to see if it helps with the snacks? Then be sure to just eat healthy ones. I'm suggesting this because when I drink it in the morning, it sure takes away my appetite. Just an idea.

rgr8e...Thanks for the uplifting post although not sure I deserve it! About the only thing I deserve is hanging in here and staying on plan with the exception of two times I tried shaking up my bod without seeing results. But it is what it is!

Good morning all my calorie busters. Today is my Tuesday accountability day. I'm not seeing the big weekly losses that I was but I'm hanging in there. I'm not feeling deprived of anything so I'm not having problems staying on track. I had a baby shower to go to on Saturday that was an out of town all day thing. I ate alot of junk that I usually don't. The scale wasn't up on Sunday but I'm sure it slowed me down for the week.

I'm noticing that I drop down a lb. every Thursday or Friday? How odd.

The weather is wonderful here so that is helping. I just can't sit still this time of year. I'm just bursting with too much energy and want to be outside moving. Regardless of my size I'm just so grateful that I have a body that is healthy and in the mood to move.

My dumb kid works at Starbucks and just has to bring home freebie pastries knowing I'm calorie counting, and, you know how it is, eat a nibble becomes another nibble and next thing its gone

Sharon a big congrats on your new low My leg is feeling better just might try running on it tonight.

Maryann...Yikes! Yes, get rid of that water with aspartame in it. I've read other posts that talk about how bad aspartame is and how it can cause stalls. Try the lemon water in the morning (warm or room tempature) before breakfast and add some green tea during the day. See if this helps with the water weight.

Erika...Your positive attitude will keep you focused and moving forward.

Maryann and Erika, my two snackin' buds, google Pop Chips. I bought the Popchips Original potato and the Barbeque potato at Walgreens and they are delicious.

Best of all, they are LOW calorie (100 cal for 18 chips) and include potassium along with salt meaning one shouldn't get sodium weight the next day.

I eat them with the Salsa I buy. I buy La Mexicana, Medium Salsa (made in the US). Two tablespoons = 10 Calories. I find it in the refrigeratored section next to the cream cheese. Course, this is WinCo so maybe your store had some similar brand.

Maryann, you like spicy? Well, you'd get plenty with that salsa. Plus hot. Not too hot though.

I just discovered this product a few days ago. I only eat about 6 or 7 with salsa and it seems to fulfil me. But even if one ate 18 chips, it's still low calorie! And soooo good!
