The Hormone Diet by Dr Natasha Turner
Anybody doing this? She was on Dr Oz today but the book has been out 2 or 3 years. I ordered it from half.com cheap.
I don't usually buy diet books but the balancing hormones thing was something I've thought a lot about on my own.
I don't really care for Dr Oz himself but they have it on in my office most days. He actually didn't argue with her when she said some people cant handle even healthy carbs such as sweet potatoes and brown rice. Maybe he will come around one of these days. She advised using squash instead of sweet potatoes, I had not realized squash was so much lower in carbs.
She wants you to have protein at every meal. eat every 3-4 hours, get enough sleep. Don't eat for 3 hours before bed. Yea thats all stuff we have heard before but I still want to read the book.
Anybody try it?
