Good morning to all and congrats to the losers. I am just maintaining right now. I am staying in my calorie range - 1200, but used to have to limit my calories to 800 in order to lose. That is just not enough for me, so will see what happens.

My March goal is to get to or below 184. Ultimate goal is 175 to 180!

March 1st started at 192.4

Week One - from 194.4 lbs to 192 lbs (-2.4lbs)
Week Two - from 192 lbs to 189.8 lbs (-2.2lbs)
Week Three - from 189.8 to 189.4 (-.4lbs)

Week Three
Sunday 3/17 188.8
Monday 3/18 187.8 Ran / walked last night for 150 calorie burn.
Tuesday 3/19 - 189.2 Ran / walked for 150 calories but ate at Panda Express (think they give more than calories listed)
Wednesday 3/20 188 - pushups / situps / pullups / curls / overhead press
Thursday 3/21 - 187.2 (180 calories under daily goal, no exercise)
Friday 3/22
Saturday 3/23

I'll need to run / walk, been a few days arghh...

Two days left for the week try and get a drop or maintain and resist the urge to splurge. Only 9 days left for the month. If you set high goals and won't make them that's ok, even 2 pounds a month is 24lbs lost in a year.

Just read this in the scale manual...

"The foundation for a successful weight loss program remains a combination of a healthy diet and exercise customized for you. Simply reducing food intake to lose weight can lead to a decline in muscle mass and bone density. So even though your weight goes down, your resting metabolism is reduced making the body more prone to putting on fat. More skeletal muscle can prevent "rebound" weight gain."

I'm looking forward to next week although I have no idea what my new exercise program will bring me. I'm going to be starting Callanetics tomorrow if my DVD comes today. After reading many past posts on the Callanetics Threads, it's hard to expect as some folks weights go up, yet lose inches while others' weight stay the same, but lose inches. The most successful folks do both Callanetics and cardio.

I'm so looking forward to starting the program because while I've lost weight, I still need to lose upper body fat. After doing Atkins and High Protein in year's past and then doing the Body for Life Challenge in 2002, I went out and bought all new clothers - Size 4. Then in 2003, lost job and went to pot! I want back in those Size 4 clothes that have been sitting here waiting for me.

My March goal is to get to or below 184. Ultimate goal is 175 to 180!

Weight loss started Jan. 12th at 212lbs. March 1st started at 192.4

Week One - 192 lbs (-2.4lbs)
Week Two - 189.8 lbs (-2.2lbs)
Week Three - 189.4 (-.4lbs)
Week Four - 186.6 (-2.8lbs) Helps make up for last week

Week Five
Sunday 3/24 187.2 Wedding food was good
Monday 3/25 188.0 Son brought home some tasty deserts that I shouldn't have eaten. Amazing when you give in and snack a little bit that it is hard to stop at that little bit.
Tuesday 3/26 - 186.6 (ran / walk 15min, situps)

Wukong: Thanks! I'm eating low carb...nothing white basically, non starchy veggies, Walking/biking 2 miles a day, just started the Ab Jam workout, too (OUCH!) The last 5# is sloooooowwww coming off!
