Good morning everyone

Goal for February is...to lose at least four pounds would be nice...Ended January at 168.6 lbs (for monthly stats)

Week One--169.8-170.8...looks like I GAINED one pound this week!

Well my scale is definatley going in the wrong direction, especially since I was really good all week, I have the suspicion that TOM is on the way, especially since I have been eating chocolate since I woke up today, I am afraid I'll be at 5000 calories before this day is over

Well, I'm going to behave myself this weekend. I hope. Super Bowl Sunday just comes once a year.

Don't have a clue why my weight went up a pound - must have been some salt in some food I ate because calories were low yesterday.

Erin...I missed posting my to you.

Good luck with WW. I would like to try that plan because it seems to give a nice variety to choose from, but can't swing the monthly fee. I'd really like you to let me know if the plan leaves you hungry or not. I've read both - for some it seems to and others don't say.

I give my eating habits another week and if scale doesn't start moving down then I think I'll go back to Atkins. Hate to because I lose with Atkins, then gain it all back.

Erika...Eating chocolate in the morning? (from one who is jealous. )

Sharsss......Chocolate ALL day so far! The hormonal monster is getting the best of me today EVERY single month I go through this, I could just sit here all day doday, watch TV and eat bonbons...just call me Peggy Bundy

Thanks for doing the math for me too!!! I am such a dork, I have to go by last sunday to make it a week...173.0--170.8 so that would give me an actual loss of 2.2 pounds for the week Yeppers, hormonal delirium

THE 8 HOUR DIET

I'm eating very light in the day and then "mostly" behaving myself at night. I'm eating a wide variety of stuff, but not watching fat at all. I still eat alot of it and just allow my points for it.

I did well on Low Carb for a few years but just found it too restrictive long term.

I'm still in that honeymoon phase. Does anyone remember that? The phase where you think you have found your golden ticket and you will be skinny and fit by Summer and NEVER go off this plan.

Well, I was such a good girl yesterday! Went to drug store and walked right by the macNcheese. I did look at it. LOL I recently read a book "JoeX" and his philosophy was "Go Forward" so I kept telling myself that.

I didn't make it to the grocery store so don't have any goodies for Super Bowl Sunday. However, after researching "8 Hour Diet", I've decided to copy that. Although one has to be careful within the 8 hour window, I am going to treat myself to pancakes in a bit. Today won't be especially valid because the goal is to go, I think, 18 hours without eating and I ate late last night. My window will be 10:30 to 6:30. Even though today isn't really valid, I'm going to start my window.

Goal: Lose 1 Pound/Week to 125 Pounds

Jan 27 - Feb 2 Maintained [134.5/134.5]

Well, I blew it ! Had 3 hot sausages with some sauce, spaghetti, a cupcake, some tortilla chips and a small slice of cheese cake. No beer, but mainly bc I go for my 2nd round of epidural steroid injections tomorrow in my back. Ya can't drink then have that done.
I'll weigh in before going. My appt is at 10:50, so we'll leave at 10. Its quite a drive. I'm taking my ice pack with me because on the way home it starts hurting pretty bad.
My dd is taking me so we'll take Chloe, my 20 month old granddaughter, with us again. She does well, surprisingly.
I'll check in tomorrow afternoon. I'll be in bed with my ice pack for a couple days so I'll have time! LOL

I have to practice that keep walking thingy, it did work for me when I was out shopping Saturday, wanted sweets so bad and stalked a display of snickers for a while, ran in the produce isle to buy a banana....just to cave in and buy (and devour) some reeses in the next store I really need to find something that will help me on the PMS days, that is the only time I really have a problem Funny thing is, I never had that when I was younger

Tammy...Don't feel bad, today is a new day! Brush yourself off and get back on the wagon, that's what it's all about! Good luck for your procedure today!

Good Morning Everyone!

Well, it's 4:08am here and I'm up. Yikes. Fell asleep ~10:30pm and awake at 2:30am, up at 3:00am. What a bummer. I did perfect in my window yesterday of 10:30am - 6:30pm except I didn't eat until 12:30 so window much shorter. I stuck to the 6:30pm stop though and no snacking last night!

Starting the week out good, not exciting since this is the third time I've hit this weight and I haven't exercised for several days except for 8 minutes yesterday morning on the trendmill. Part of 8 Hour Diet to do that.

I've read other articles by googling by folks who have had great weight loss on this program. I doubt I do as well as I won't cut my coffee consumption down before window starts, but that's my choice and not the fault of the program. Did much better on my water intake so hope to continue.

Tammy...So sorry you have back problems! I don't think there is anything worse than to have to live with constant back pain.

Erika...Good drop, girl! I've done the same thing in the past - succeeded at one store only to fall off the wagon the next stop. Happens to us all. I also bet all of us have had the same thoughts as you not wanting to post our weights on some days!

no weigh in. It was just too early. I'm not feeling so good. The injections gave me a headache and my vision is blurry. It really hurts so I'm not getting up other than to go to the bathroom. Thank Goodness its not far!

Good Morning Ladies!

Up today, but not bad. I'm sure it wasn't those two tbsp of peanut butter at 11:00pm that broke my fast. Haven't exercised except for my morning 8 minute cardio, but plan to do my plan today. Here's hoping it doesn't add a pound for tomorrow!

Erika...I hope it wasn't just luck that I didn't snack Sunday night. I could be that I haven't fallen asleep that early in ages so before those hunger pangs hit. Tonight will tell I guess.

Joannew ...First day of Challenge higher weight good. From now on just down. Sure sucks to weight later with clothes though, but YOU know.

Today is my weekly weigh in and I did well. I didn't go over any of my WW points and ate some new things. I'm definitely in my happy zone today.

I didn't lose weight this quickly when I did WW in 2010. I think the difference is I'm not really eating a lot of packaged stuff or reduced fat. And the IF is keeping my hunger at bay in the daytime.

Losing 7.2 lbs. in 2 weeks is not the norm for me so I’m expecting some slow down next week.

Tammy- hope your back is better. I have crappy back syndrome and went for several years having the spinal shots. I hope that you get some relief from them. They were a Godsend for me when I was unable to walk.

Sharrs- How’s the IF going? Are you getting used to it? I think that it took me about 2 weeks when I first started to get used to it. It’s just how I eat now. I do enjoy the freedom of not having to think of food until noon or so.

Erika- Sometimes I miss my hormones but after reading your post I had to remind myself how nice it is to not have the deal with the monthly stuff anymore. I just go to the Doc and get my hormones now. Hope the hormone munchies have passed.

No weigh in. I was up alll night sick from the migraine. its a first for me to get a migraine from the steroids. Dr said he didn't hit spinal fluid so thats good. Drinking lots of water, caffeine, and resting. Took excedrin too.
I'll weigh in tomorrow, if I sleep tonight.

Erin, I see you aren't far from my son. Hes at Ft Campbell, KY. We've been down there a few times, but never made it to Nashville. We will next time though. But hes getting deployed this spring for 8-9 months so it'll be a while before we get there.
