Sharon...Gawd, I sure hope you are right with the weight flying off!!!...I basically had the same foods yesterday, just in the evening I was a little snackier so I had an egg and a cup of fat free cottage cheese, and that did the trick!
For the meatballs, I bought a big pack of lean ground turkey, I think it was 3 pounds, season the meat up with one minced onion, sazon, a little adobo and pepper, thats all. Form meatballs, put them on a cookie sheet and stick in the oven 30-45 minutes on 350, depending on how big they are. Packed in little plastic containers and ready to just reheat in the fridge, easiest meal ever!

Good morning all! Still staying on track here. I'm not going to get to my WW meeings today or next week due to scheduling conflicts. My scale says 163.2 so I'm rounding up.

I've stayed between 160-170 for several years now. I'm getting hungry to see the 150s. Finally started seeing some movement in the tape measure!! Both hips and waist are down an inch. My goal is to get my waist under 30". I'm a Pear so when the hips go down, so does the waist. I have noticed with age that the hip to waist ratio is not as great. Used to be 10" difference, now it's 9". I really need to get serious about some toning!

Looks like everyone had some positive numbers today. I'm trending up a wee bit, retaining fluids for some reason and had to pee 3 times last night which for me not at all is usually the case. Sunday I bought 0 calorie Lipton tea and have drank a couple bottles a day so think I'll just drink one a day at most as I'm suspecting that for some reason is causing water retention. Any thoughts on whether tea would do that?

New LOW today. However, after bouncing around, it's hard to get excited when the LOW might be HIGHER tomorrow. I did break from Atkins high fat to low fat, high protein yesterday and ate yogurt which isn't on Atkins Induction. However, if I count the one day of ME Fast, I finished my 14 day Induction yesterday. I will continue Induction until I get to Goal.

Wukong...Don't know about the tea, Wukong, but it doesn't matter if it does or doesn't affect anyone else. The question is if it affects YOU. We all have different things that will be a negative for us. Drop the tea and see what happens. You've been having great consistent losses so something is up.

Erin, Erin, Erin...You're so mean to yourself to round up to the next pound. Is this what they do at WW? At least round up mathematicallly to the next .5. (163.5). What an awesome job, Erin! Congratulation on inch lost! (I started as a pear too.)

Erika...Thanks for the meatball recipe. Two of the ingredients I never heard of, but will Google. Great choice of snack!

Maryann...Way to go on kicking that pizza out!!! We will make goal, just wait and see!!!

Erin...You are doing fabulous! I bet you'll drop below that 163 before the week is over!

Wukong...I don't know about the tea, sugarfree drinks have never caused me to retain water. May be it's something else that you ate that is high in sodium? I too get up 2-3 times at night, but I drink so much fluid all day and then 2 big mugs of coffee every day when I come home from work...I'm always tinkling

Sharon...Look at you go!!! What a nice drop! How was your low fat experiment? Were you hungrier than on the high fat? I really can't complain so far, is it possible that the high protein keeps me fuller than the fat? Or is it just the sensation of feeling more food in the belly I really don't know what it is but I hope I can stick it out for the rest of the week. Saturday I want to start the cycling which means I can add in salads and veggies so I know the weight will probably go up "sigh". I will try to do 5/5 cycles, 5 days of protein only and then 5 days of protein with veggies, then repeat, may be I can break through this setpoint afterall!
Oh, I almost fortgot, sazon and adobo are seasonings, found in just about every grocery store, they are my honey's favorite seasonings so they are always in the house. BUT if I didn't have those I would probably just put in some ready mix for burgers or meatloaf!

Erika... Funny subject!

Strangely enough, I wasn't hungry at all. If I did start feeling hungry, I just ate a teaspoon of creamed cheese or a few slivers of cheese. It was kind of strange that I felt so satisfied. No meat what-so-ever. Nothing against meat for sure as I'm a meat-lover. However, I ate less, not more. Maybe something about the cottage cheese.

Went back to higher fat today. I had gone to Trader Joes last night and finally picked up some CO so had some in my coffee this morning. We'll see what happens tomorrow although I haven't been active today at all. Been kinda tired actually. Am wondering is it's lack of fat since I've been energetic since last Friday. OR could be I haven't drank as much coffee today. For some reason that CO seemed to kill desire for coffee. That would be a first for me.

It's interesting how we experiment. Thanks for the input on the spices. You can tell I'm a boring cook. Sure never heard of them, but wil pick some up next shopping day.

Going to have to work out hard and eat at lot less calories if I'm to get under 193 by tomorrow which probably won't happen Btw - I checked out my sodium on Sunday it was really high due to eating a Subway 12" which could have been the cause of the water rentention (3984 mgs for that day, normally average about 2000mg).

Looks like everyone is closing out the month on a good note, congrats

I fasted a bit too, ate a 1/3rd less calories. So the 1st to the 1st like Sharss is doing seems like a reasonable way to start & end the cycle. I'll do that too for one more day to drop just a bit to be under 193 though I'll have to eat less calories again to today

Congrats to Erin, Ericka, Cagmom, Sharss, Joannew! We all did awesome on getting what we were striving for.

CONGRATULATIONS WUKONG

We need a name for our Group: Awesome (something). Any ideas?

I just want to thank everybody because as Joannew has pointed out, the group has been so supportive of each other and I do believe it's helped us to stay on track through thick and thin <- meaning our bounces.

I know many a morning, we've dreaded that walk to the scales , but we've hung in there because of the rest of us. Over time we've become a close knit caring Group. For this, I thank you all!

(Wukong, that's Erika that goes from the 1st to the 1st. I'm more of a week to weekie goal gal.)

Girls, I just want to say one thing....WE ROCK !!!!! Congratulations everyone on a FABULOUS job done!!!

Sharon, Joanne is right, this group is very small, yet so committed and so helpful. It is so much more personal here, one actually get a chance to get to know people, plus there is no jealousy or competition You Sharon actually made me a bit teary eyed with your comment (is only a bully on the outside )
