Everyone. Wonder where you all are! I thought I'd be the last one posting since I had my second no sleep last night and slept from 8am to 1pm. Brother, what a nasty schedule.

Had a drop today to lowest weight since I started. Why? Don't know. Didn't do cardio yesterday, ate more fat, but had second meal at 3:30pm and had three snacks up to 11:00pm. Not junk though.

Week 3
Feb 10 – Feb 16


Sunday 2-10 = 134.5
Monday 2-11 = 132 (happy, but know I'll be up tomorrow. )
Tuesday 2-12
Wednesday 2-13
Thursday 2 - 14

Sharon...Way to go on that drop!!! And thank you for the tips, you are right some of the items I have been eating are not Induction approved, but so far I have not started, I have to do some serious planing first, like what to do with all the fresh fruit and veggies I got sitting in the fridge. Yesterday I started by cutting out the hot cocoa and the sweeteners, I seriously think that this little treat triggers my binges.

Erika Great start! Yes, know what you mean about the food in frig that we're not suppose to eat. Will the vegies last through 3-5 days of ME Fast? Either that or eat up food before really starting plan or waste the food. Hard to do when we live on budgets.

Yesterday I checked out Kelly's FB page and someone asked her about doing her doing weights and her body weight was going up. Kelly said that would happen first and then the fat loss would kick in.

Made me stop and think about if the ME Fast would be good for me since there would be loss of water weight <- the water weight I need for muscle repair. I'm certainly not doing heavy weights, but since I started out with such low lean weight, what I've been doing has certainly added muscle.

So I'm in quite the dilemma. Do I give up exercising and do the ME Fast for weight loss? Or continue exercising and just wait to do the ME Fast? Or continue exercising and work myself into Atkins Induction at some point? I did add fat yesterday and did pay attention to lower carbs even if they were the wrong kind of carbs.

At least we ARE keeping to MOVING fORWARD!

Sharon, looks like we are both in some kind of dilemma here I just can't get myself to throw out any food, I nickel and dime everything when I go shopping just to save a few dollars, and then throw it in the trash?! NO WAY, I'll figure out something.

You have to really think about what is more important to you now, do you want to drop the weight? Or do you want to workout? How about switching it up and just do some cardio while losing, and when close to goal start back up with strengh training? Decisions, decisions I started up to do serious exercise several times but it always stalled my weight loss, and I really want to lose a few more pounds to call it goal, I need a little more wiggle room for holiday bounces

Yes, I think you're right about what is most important to me. I believe I will just do cardio - without pushing it as hard as I have - and do it every other day. I'll finish up the foods I have on hand or most of them. However, I will keep upping my Fat like I did yesterday. I really think that's why I lost the way I did.

I'd suggest you eating what you have on hand while upping your Fats, but I know you won't as it would add calories. I do, however, think that may be the missing ingredient to more successful weight loss. We'll see. Might be famous last words here.

Then we can start ME Fast clean. I did have two scrambled eggs cooked in butter with ham and bit of cheese thrown in as my first meal. Next meal will be chile with more cheese added for fat and a few crackers with butter also. This meal like yesterday's. Will see what happens tomorrow with light cardio today too. I can be your guina pig.

So I actually made it through two days of not caving in at night and eating everything in sight, I just hope this trend continues


February goal is to get back to the 160's and do NOT go back in the 170's

Sharon...Good desicion in just doing cardio, you are still exercising it is just not as tough on the muscles. I stopped doing my elliptical and the stationary bike and just go for a 30 minute walk everyday for now.

I also added more fat to my diet, I actually had a hamburger patty smothered in butter for breakfast yesterday, boiled eggs for lunch, and another patty drenched in butter for dinner, oh and about 3 tablespoons of creamcheese, all coming in at about 1400 calories***and NO cocoa*** I think it is the sweetness of the hot cocoa that gives me these crazy cravings, also switched my flavored water back to plain water! Really hoping I can stick it out better this week!

Well, I’m up today, but not surprised because sleeping until 1:00pm yesterday afternoon meant I was eating late. Also did cardio and tried lightening it up. ??? I have to get to the grocery store and get some meat in this house. Do have eggs. And chili.

Hi guys! Didn’t make it to WW meeting so had to use my own scale. I was freaking out about quick weight loss during the week and quit being so diligent. I over ate on Fri, Sat and Mon. I could tell by how I felt after dinner. I also did not track or measure. I have a heavy hand with the Olive Oil and butter if I don't measure.

I’ll still take 1.9 for the week and like it. Like I have a choice.

I’m back to strict tracking today. AND stopping eating until I am too full.

Oh geeze! The steroids did a number on me! My hunger has passed now and I'm back on the wagon. I tell ya, the hunger from steroids is NO JOKE! I felt like no matter what or how much I ate I was still hungry.
Today is the first day since last Monday I haven't had a headache. Feels good!
Now, time to lose weight and feel better about myself.

Well I was up this morning, but I knew last night when I sliced up the summer sausage for a snack that I would be...no more processed meats for me!! Other than that I was pretty good, eggs for breakfast and lunch, and salmon with butter for dinner...scale better be nice to me tomorrow

Did not do well on ME Fast yesterday. Well, did great until night and then had to snack because I was starved because my daily calorie count was too low. I'm going to start Atkins Induction. I think I'll like that better. I can't eat enough during ME Fast meals to stop the late night hunger.

Sure hope I end the week good.

Ok, it's water loss, but I'll take it! Did ME Fast on Tues (with failures), did Atkins yesterday. Apparently for me, eating biggest meal earlier results in weight drops. We'll see with time.

Good morning ladies! Looks like we're all having a great week in spite of fluctuations.

I hope my low weight stays the same for tomorrow. Then I'm going to do light exercise. Just did cardio the one day where the weight went up. Today's cardio is so different than it used to be - today's purpose is to hit muscle groups with the moves so still water retention.

Joannew...Behave yourself today. Your week is going to be great either way. One thing we’ve all learned – out lowest weight is our REAL weight. Over that low weight are fluctuations for one reason or another. Looks like you’re above target for your goal weight. Congratulations! I like the way you have your goals set up at the bottom. I may do that too. Both of us should hit our goal about the same time.

Of course I was up too today, fell face first into a bag of crackers I see I'm not the only one though, Ima start calling this group the "BOUNCY BABIES" ....BUT, we are bouncing DOWN!


February goal is to get back to the 160's and do NOT go back in the 170's
Ended January at 168.6

Hello everyone!

Yup, I blew another week, I am up to almost 175 lbs today. My mister decided to surprise me with takeout food...something we have stopped doing almost completely since I first started my little weighloss journey...Back on track today, but at this rate I am never going to make it back into the 160's, seems like I'm going one step forward and three steps back...


February goal is to get back to the 160's and do NOT go back in the 170's
Ended January at 168.6

Ended week three at 174.6...up 2.2 from last saturday

awww...Erika! If there was an icon showing a kick in the booty, I'd do it for your "mister".

Looks discouraging now, but new week starting and next week will be much better. BTW, although that no sugar jello wasn't on the Atkins food list, he does show it on his Induction example menu.

Cheer up, girl! I know you must be discouraged, but you know this isn't your real weight.

Sharon... I know it's just water weight, and it could have been much worse, my last restaurant trip had me retain 11 !!!! pounds of water Discouraged, frustrated, but then I also have to look at the positive side...I lost 90 pounds and been holding the loss within 5 pounds for the past 6 months!
