The BIG question, Why are some people thin and others not?

I have always wondered why this happens.
We're all human, all need food for fuel, all have to walk and move around that helps work off weight... then why do some put weight on and others not?
I found out for myself it was me... I abused food, thought I was hungry all the time.. and was BUT that's because I never took the time to sit still and talk to myself about the problem. As soon as I became aware of my bad habits I was then able to react to them. Took almost a lifetime to find that out. To bad but it's not to late. Now that I have lost the weight it's time to live.

Hope everyone here takes time to calm down and sit alone talk to yourself... take a good look inside.

I disagree, Steve. People who overeat like that generally have metabolic issues that cause their hormones to push them to that behavior. Self blaming is not the cure! Read Gary Taubes' Why We Get Fat and What to Do About It for more information.

I am not disagreeing that a psychological component HELPS a weight loss plan, but it's only part of it.
