Meat and egg fast anyone?
Hello ALL
![]() This will be FUN! I already lost 4.9lbs in three days ![]() I started four days ago and went from 148.4 to 143.5 that's a number that I haven't been able to get to in a couple months of being pretty strick LC-LCHF. I was down to 144 but then got sick and ate off plan for over a week and hit 149. So far I have eaten around 4 eggs a day, (would eat more if I wanted) hamburger patties, and steaks I use mayo, cream, and coconut oil, eat when I am hungry and drink LOTS of water. You can adjust it to your liking Anyone want to join me for a week or so. I think I'm gonna stick with it untill Thanksgiving

I did it for 30 days, about 2 months ago. I lost 8 lbs. I think. Maybe 10 ... I don't rememeber. I'd have to look through my notes. I liked it! I'd originally only planned 2 weeks, but ... liked it and went for a full 30 days! By the end of it, I was DEFINITLELY missing variety ... veggies ... etc. Good luck with it. Drink lots of water!

Wow Becky! That's quite the loss in inches.
I'm hoping to fit nicely into a size 8 jeans. I have really wide hips so if I wore a size 8 that means my waist would be pretty small. Buffy, I didn't know that about Brazil nuts either. I'm gonna check out pecans because those are my favorite and after this fast I want to make some SF pecan brittle for the holidays. |

Brazil nuts have another point against almonds - selenium is a trace mineral we are often deficient in and they are loaded with it, along with magnesium, manganese, and zinc. For mineral bang for the buck, Brazil nuts are about the best tree nut choice. Almonds are great if you find yourself deficient in potassium or vitamin e, but it's the trace minerals I'm after. Just 3-5 Brazil nuts per day is an excellent supplement and very low in carbs.
They're one of those foods I allow even on induction, though it's not strictly by the book, because of the nutrition in them for the carb bang. They also don't tend to make me crave. *back to lurkdom*

I'm HUNGRY!
I think the #1 key to success is being prepared which I am not at the moment. I ate 4 eggs with a small amount of sf nitrate free bacon (I know I said I wouldn't eat bacon or sausage but this was the clean kind) anyways that's not enough food and instead of cheating, I'll run home and grill a bunch of pork chops, eat a few, then cook enough for the next few days. |

I am really going to try this. I need to loose 9lbs so I can say I am not overweight. That is 150lbs, but would like to weight 140. Since I read about all of this, I started today. Got nothing to loose but weight. I have a hard time eating veggies anyway. And love how siimple this is. So can't wait to see how it goes for everybody. Thanks for the support these threads give.
Good luck everybody!!!!! ![]() |

I love egg and meat fasts! I have lost up to 7 pounds in 5 days doing them on multiple occasions. I just made a few dishes this morning so I won't be joining you guys this time but maybe after I finish up these dishes so they don't go bad I might consider doing it a few days before Thanksgiving hits.

eggs and meat fast. never heard of this. but the weight you can lose sounds impressive in a short time.
when you break this fast I guess you are very careful adding in back foods as to not gain back??? I think I can handle 5 days of this. I will start tomorrow cause tonight I will work out my food for the next 2-3 days as to have plenty on hand. If not, I won't last the day very interesting. |
