Hey guys! so I did pretty good today- as far as not eating carbs...I stuck to eggs, chicken, CO, olive oil, (some cheese), and some coconut milk. I kept track of everything- but I did eat heavy on the fat and protein (and calories incidentally). My focus for the next few days is to just not eat carbs, and eat only fat/protein- even if it's more than I should. Hopefully after a couple of days of eating like this my appetite will regulate- maybe?
readyfredy- what does 17 mean? |

Happy Friday!
![]() My scale happened to be back down today! Looking over my journal, it appears that is the general trend for me. Down to my lowest and then back up a couple lbs. I end up settling somewhere in the middle. Right now the middle happens to be 204.6 which is 2 lbs down from this time last week. Hopefully, I can get back down to my siggy weight by Monday (my official weigh-in day) Today's menu: B - 3 bacon, 2 eggs, coffee w/CO L - 3 bacon, 2 eggs, decaf w/CO D - pork roast (in the crockpot now), 1/2 avocado w/salt I think I'll be having the same thing all weekend as I'm not burnt out on bacon & eggs yet, & the roast I'm fixing is HUGE! It's nice not worrying about what I'm gonna eat next... Gotta go catch up on some other threads now.....Hope everyone is kicking butt!!!

Im' sorry. We're here for ya.I had my grill fest last night. You should see my fridge. It's like we took a cow and threw him in a fire pit I've got steak, shish kabobs, hamburgers, chicken. Yesterday I munched on smoked gouda sliders all day. They are so tiny and I just grab em outa tha fridge. Being prepared is awesome. I also snacked on beef jerky last night. It's this awesome jerky made near here, the bag I got had 4g total carbs and only 160calories and you can munch on it for hours. It's expensive but so worth it. So today my menu looks like: B-coffee, half n half, sweet n low L-3 smoked gouda sliders S-chicken Kabob D-I think steak!

Come on over. I have plenty Lol. The burgers we get aren't regular burgers. My grocery store makes them. We have jalapeno/cheddar, steak house (it has spices and a hint of A-1 in it, these are my fave), and smoked gouda. They just put that stuff in the burger patties. They are to die for.

WOW!!
Everyone is doing so great! I noticed the more I eat, the more I lose. I ate lots of protein last night and dropped the 1.4 I was up yesterday so I'm at 142 That really makes me happy because I usually have up to a 5lb gain this time of the month. Last night there was a big pot of steamed broccoli and cauli infront of me and I was SO tempted by it! I'm sure it wouldn't have hurt but I just ate a steak instead and was perfectly satisfied. Hope everyone eats well today. OH and HAPPY FRIDAY ![]()

Yesterday went so much better for me and I felt a lot better this morning compared to yesterday. No more headaches, thank goodness! Also, I managed to lose 1.8 lbs from my 3rd day. A new low weight, I am so happy!
![]() I ate more yesterday and lost more than I did on my all egg day. Perhaps I had some retained water I hadn't yet lost. ![]() Yesterday's menu and this week's weigh-ins: 64 oz. water 2 cups plain coffee w/3 Tbsp. HWC (one in the morn, one in the eve) 2 laughing cow cheeses (to help ease yesterday's migraine) 8 oz. baked flounder w/lots of mayo & unsalted butter 1 egg yolk smashed w/mayo 2 slices pre-cooked bacon 2 oz. ground beef chuck 2 Tbsp. sour cream Day 1: 260.0 Day 2: 258.6 Day 3: 257.8 Day 4: 256.0 So, 4 lbs. in 3 days. I shall not complain!

I ate awesomely yesterday....3 meals consisting of burger patty, mayo and scrambled eggs. Weighed today....up to 141 flat
I am hoping for a woosh one of these days. I can't take putting all of this effort into losing weight and then it doesn't happen!! RAR!! At least I am only up .2 lbs, but up anything sucks. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day. |

Maybe just stick with it for a couple more days and If you're not losing then start eating veggies? That's what I would do. I miss my broccoli and cauliflower. |

Any thoughts on adding a tbsp of flax per day to this? I'm going to give it a go for a few days but flax helps keep me regular so I think I'll want to keep it in my plan.

I have been totally unimpressed with my weight loss lately and have started eating pretty much only meat and cheese (0 carb cheese) for the past two days. The weight is finally going back down a bit. It's so frustrating to be eating so strictly and have NO results. So I have no problem eating really strictly and having results!
Anyone tried a meat and cheese fast? Would it work nearly the same as a meat and egg fast? |
