I'm gonna stick with it as long as I can & only if I see good results. At the two week mark, I'll decide to continue for another two weeks or switch things up again. I do plan to relax for thanksgiving day though. |

So far today I feel like I haven't really stuck to the fast even tho I pretty much have, just not ideal.
Today I've had..... 7 strips of bacon (way too much) some hard aged cheddar 1 uncured pepperoni stick A diet coke and barely enough water! I guess it doesn't sound as bad after typing it out but it's 230pm and I should have eaten more by now. I have the WORST taste in my mouth from ketosis. I was in the darker purple last night Hope everyone is having a successful egg meat day

Ya'll have room for one more??? The past couple of months all I've done is gain. I lost both my 21 year old kitty's within a week of each other (they were sisters that I raised from 2 days old)in September and then we moved into the "city". Can you say STRESS??????? Now I'm going on job interviews and unpacking again I'm just STRESSED!!!!
I've done this before (lost 80 pounds in 2000) and I've done meat and egg fast before. I'm thinking this is exactly what I need!!! So I'm in. I only am able to check in once a day, but I will let ya'll know how I'm doing!Everyone seems to be doing AWESOME!!!

Welcome Kimmie
I had 3 eggs from our chickens for dinner with some cheese and sour cream I'll eat a burger patty if I'm hungry in a lil bit. I'm not expecting a loss in the morning, maybe even a small gain because of all the salt and TOM on the way. I will still weigh just to see tho. |

I ended up eating 2 eggs and 3 peice bacon for breakfast, 3 hardboiled eggs and mayo for lunch, and a chicken breast for dinner. Am hoping to break into 150s tomorrow!

Hey all, so I have a few questions...What are the benefits of an egg and meat fast besides kick starting weight loss...Does it help knock the body into ketosis faster? Also, I tend to still be hungry after 2 or 3 eggs...do you guys really experience appetite suppression? Also, I would probably go way over on my recommended protein amt...do you guys keep track at all? or is it not necessary b/c you aren't getting glucose from veggies... Thanks! I'm really thinking about trying this b/c I'm having a helluva time picking NK back up (not that I was ever solidly there to begin with).

![]() oh yea. scale was sweet. another 1.8 down this morning. 2 days---total 3.9 One more day for me only. I have some meals I am missing. sauteed mushrooms, alfredo sauce and all that stuff 3 days will be a good limit for me only because I don't want to push, overdo, or go crazy getting down the scale. I want relaxed, peaceful, acceptance of plan and learning to control it etc. today is 3 scrambled eggs, 4 bacon tuna with alot of mayo 3-4 baked chicken thighs (love that crispy skin) some beef sticks, pepperoni or something small to take the edge off if required. Thanks for starting this thread. I love it Foods I love, weight off the scale. GOOD COMBO!! |

I've been stuck @ 190 for 2 weeks, and although I did have some cheese, yogurt, and HWC, down 4 lbs in 2 days. M/E is so great for breaking through mini stalls.

Snowdancer and trigger- congrats on the loss!
Welcome Kimmie! I agree Becky- I'd love to see some sample menus from ppl. I think I'm gonna give this thing a shot. I will be making cheese omelets for breakfast and HWC in my coffee- but other than that I hope to keep it dairy free. Is anyone else adding in cheese at all? For lunch and dinner I plan on having some chicken or leftover steak/meatballs. I also intend to make my own mayo today :-) Good luck everyone! |
