I went to Dennys for lunch because it was the only place around here with eggs, I ordered 3 scrambled but before the lady walked away I asked if they were real without fillers and she said NO, but gave me the option to have whole cracked eggs
I did have some cheese on my eggs today and some sour cream. I needed the fat!! That's probably why I feel so full and happy ![]() So far today 3 thin pork chops 3 eggs w/cheese and some bacon Need more water!!!!! oh and I had a diet coke (ewe)

Faith I know what you mean. The two years I lurked, I found so much information and help here. All I would have to do is look up a question I wanted to ask and someone had already asked it before
I do encourage everyone to take the plunge and come out of lurking tho |

Thanks for the welcome, smoky!
btw, I was at 260.0 this morning, the weight in my signature I've been trying to get back to for the past week. Due mostly to normal fluctuation, I'm sure. Maybe a little because of some high sodium foods I've eaten. At any rate, I am tired of the 260's and want to be out of them forever. I originally wanted to be at my 70 lbs. lost mark of 253 by now but would like to see how close to that I can be by Thanksgiving. My sister has been dropping some weight as well (not LC) and has challenged me as to who would weigh less, LOL! And I hate to lose a challenge. ![]() I do drink a modified Bulletproof Coffee some mornings as I have done Intermittent Fasting for a few months now. I put vanilla Torani syrup in that. That is the only artificial sweetener I am going to allow myself. Also, for the next 3 days I really, really want to do eggs only (with some butter & mayo). That will be a big challenge for me. Best of luck to everyone else here who have already begun. |

The only problem is, I ate eggs for dinner tonight and I don't know if I can stomach them too much. I do like eggs with ground beef, so might do that once a day and meat otherwise. Sometimes I don't mind them, but other times - the texture is just blah! ![]() |

Faith, I love challenges too
![]() I was going to start with the egg fast but figured meat and eggs would be something I could stick with better. You'll get to the 70lbs lost The one thing that keeps me on track is my coffee and twice a week I get a sugar free vanilla chai with almond milk. I just got a small one with a shot of SF pumpkin spice and it's so yummy To me it's not cheating because it never stalls me and I eat pretty clean for the most part. |

HOORAY!
down 1.8 this morning. I need this. kickstart some more down the scale. but I had a lapse. a 1/2 bowl of sf jello around 9:30. I am still fighting those late night snacking habits. they are a bear! So glad I made the jello, who knows what I would have jumped on. today I am putting a very nice roast pork early in the oven to eat all day. Just for me! breakfast is 2 scrambled eggs and 2 bacon. thanks for starting this thread and the motivation on the thread to keep me going. how did everyone do? |

So, I am starting today...my weight was 192.1 today. I was looking up info. on meat and egg diets and found this interesting article. The Old School ‘Steak and Eggs’ Diet for Fat Loss, Balanced Energy, and Increased Testosterone : BOLD & DETERMINED
I don't agree with the day of glutoney though. But was thinking a day of adding back nuts and vegies or something like that on day 6. Anyways...thought it was interesting and the comments below the article are interesting as well. |
