Menu today
B- coffee with 1T half and half
L- 6 naked chicken tenders & 2 hamburger patties
D- 6 oz beef brisket
S- hot tea w/ 2T CO & 1T HWC, 3oz cracklins(do y'all eat these on M&E?) 2T sour cream
(No eggs)

By the way this is my second go around with M&E within 6 weeks of Atkins. First time, not much of success but thought I would give it another try...doesn't seem that great again!

Thanks for the support I love this group...I thought this was goin to be really hard but it's becoming more of a habit day by day. Idk why my beef I made for lunch tasted weird at lunch so I ended up ordering Mexican ad just ate the meat. I'm guessing it was about 8-10 oz of grilled chicken (3) fajitas and I save the steak for a post workout snack but ended up having it for dinner w some bacon and four eggs scrambled w a tsp of butter. I'm still nervous of the fat but it satisfies me and physically I feel/look good so im just goin to go with it. I'm glad I didn't do stillmans!

Besides multi and magnesium what else are you guys taking if anything? I'm taking an efa blend and I think that and my workouts w this eating plan is a great combo.

For me sometimes the short term scale bumps from exercise are a bummer, but for the long run (and once you get past the initial bump) it's a definite

Coming out of lurking status

I am new. I just want you all to know I have never posted anything on any site before now. You all are so encouraging to me. I cut down carbs on 1/31/13 when I weighed 192.2. Went to Dr. 3 wks later and was motivated when my gluclose dropped from 91 to 82. Then recently found out that my A1C went from 6.1 to 5.5. so no longer insulin resistant and want to stay that way. I am a slow loser and doing meat and eggs is motivating.
Started 3/10 188.9
3/11 187.4
3/12 186.5
3/13 185.8 ate large bag of skins and 1 oz of whiskey w/crystal light
3/14 188.1

Thanks. I felt awful with nausea earlier and checked this site. Found that I needed sodium. Had some chicken both and I am better. I also read that this was sign of ketosis so weighed this evening and down .7! Wow 187.4 again

I'm going to try my first egg, meat and cheese fast next week. I hope it kick starts my body to start letting go of this weight it is holding so tightly to! Going to keep it simple for the whole week by eating the same thing daily: eggs, bacon and butter for breakfast, meatballs covered in melted cheese for lunch and bacon/cheese topped chicken for dinner. Sausage patties and string cheese for snacks.

Will post the results the following week.

I usually from habit eat M&E. I just enjoy eating mostly meat with the ocaissionaly veggie condiment (salsa). I am currently not doing fast because of some yummy broccoli cauliflower salad I made a few days ago, but plan on starting back on fast next week (or when the salad is gone). I am giving my self a break to have a couple of my favorite LC foods, the above mentioned salad and some peanuts.

I've been slacking on posting my menus, but I've been 100% so far this week with minimal cravings! Its getting easier I'm seeing awesome results physically too which keeps me super motivated-I hope you're all having a fab weekend so far!

Nearing the end of my day and feeling like rubbish...very nauseous which probably means my body is detoxing a bit...not loving it though Hopefully will be a bit easier tomorrow.

I'm joining M&E to get me out of the slump I've been in. I gained 12 lbs, lost a few, and somehow gained 3 back without going off plan. I'm think a fast might do the trick for me.

March 17: 164 today, but I know I am retaining water.

I'm gonna be strict again and eat little else other than eggs. I want to be in the lower 150s or upper 140s by May. That's a lofty goal and I don't know if such a thing is possible, but I won't know unless I try.
