Feb 27: 172.8
Feb 28: 171.4 (-1.4) YAY!! Mar 1: 171.8 (+0.4) I was sick yesterday and I think the increase is due to about 5 tortilla chip s I had at lunch. Sounds crazy right, because I didn't eat anything after lunch. I got an upset stomach and ate nothing at all. Back on plan today with: B: 3 eggs w/ 4 slices bacon; coffee w/co, torani SF vanilla nd splenda L: pork chop w/ sourcream; maybe some pork rinds with salsa&sourcream D: 2 hamburgers w/mayo&mustard or sour cream

Morning all two days now 2 lbs gone one moe lb to be back to my low weight.
I get lot of my cal.from my 3 cups coffee with co,hwc.plus I eat the fat on meat.once you do meat and eggs for a few days you do lose your appetite but once you eat to many carbs or something that triggers you it takes few days to get back there. I realy love this way of eating.. When you first start eat meat and eggs you might over eat but few days it gets less, dont forget to eat fat...it helps a lot .. Hope all is doing good. Spring is right around counter so hang in there and we all will look great!!

Down a lb this morning after a three lb gain doing to much snow and to much snow ice cream during our 32hr loss of electricity. Stress and too much snow! So Iam back in the right frame of mind and that is what it is all about for me. If the head doesn't have it together the body doesn't have a chance. Congrats to the ones who have lost. Hang in there for the ones who didn't it will come but not always to our time table for sure.

Great Job Becky!
![]() I'm afraid I've had to hit the pause button for the moment. I still pretty sick. Doing the best I can to hang with the plan, but DH who doesn't really get the whole Meat & Egg thing keeps trying to make me special treats which I am not doing real well resisting. I think I'll just do the best I can until I get well and then jump back on (hopefully by Monday). How you doing today Lori? Great start Susan!! |

Hi all! I need to kick start a bad stretch of eating the past couple of months and this fits the bill. My goal is 2 weeks. I'm doing it strictly with eggs and skinless thighs. No butter, cheese, hwc or CO. I plugged it into my tracker site and it comes up roughly 50% fat, 50% protein. I am not a LCer but this looks "easy" as it eliminates a lot of choices. Eggs or thighs, thighs or eggs...hungry? There's thighs or eggs!! I want to stop at 2 weeks and see where I'm at. My question is, how all you all balancing this? Does 50/50 sound right? Anyone tracking calories? I am and have it plugged in at 1500 calories but that ends up being 150 grams of protein! I'm going to give it a try even at that much protein as it is only 2 weeks. I will weigh in the am. These are a few vanity pounds but I think it will be an interesting experiment. Off to drink a glass of wine.....my last for 2 weeks!!

Is there a rule of thumb so to speak on height, weight and age how many calores I should have a day? I'm 5' 41/2" 166.8 lbs and 67 years old. Not very active. Any ideas?
Thanks would appreciate any suggestions. Susan |

I'm not an expert here but I am aiming for 1300 calories divided between 9 eggs and 300 grams of cooked skinless thighs. That is plenty but fairly low cal....for me!

Becky that is an amazing lost you should really be proud of that. I figure my age and not much activity my calories shouldn't be too high. do you think maybe 1200 woud be somewhere near I know height, age, weight and not much activity enters into it. I guess I can google it and find somewhere near. But for now I think I will try 1200 and see what happens. I hope this small morning muffin doesn't stall me if it does I will have to quit it for awhile. I really have trouble doing breakfast. Ok I'm off to make some deviled eggs. Thanks, susan

Ok Becky thanks I was going to just do 1/4 cup to make a smaller muffin. But I don't want to stall out either. So I guess I will stick to meat and eggs. I really have trouble with the eggs. I can eat scrambled, deviled or egg salad and that is about it. I like fried eggs over easy but they upset my stomach I think the yolks have to be done and I don't like the fried ones that way. Ok I've gone on long enough. Thanks

I have some coconut oil ordered not here yet. I'm not a coffee drinker but I do like hot tea so I will try that when it gets here. I love avocados! I can fix egg salad and deviled eggs and do pretty good. I'm using mayo but have to say I miss my miracle whip but I do add a little splenda to my deviled eggs and make it pretty good. I just need to slow down and figure out my percentages of protein, fat, fiber and so forth and so on. I know I can do this. Just have to do it. Thanks Becky!

If your 50/50 doesn't work after a couple of days just give it a little tweak. Just by upping your fat a few percent and downing your protein a bit can make a huge difference without really sacrificing too much in the way of what you like to eat |
