Hi everyone! I am joining in on M&E...I did it the two weeks before my wedding in Sept and had great success, I will start tomorrow. When I do it, I do eggs, meat and I allow hot sauce, butter, and mayo. No cheese (I cant just eat a little bit of it, lol).

Hi everyone
![]() Geez I can't believe I've been away for so long! I'm really glad to see the thread still rolling. Well I'm lucky to be at 140 after weeks upon weeks of eating bad! I will finally have my very own kitchen (YAY) next week. I ordered a really nice programable crockpot and just live up the street from work, so I'll always be close to healthy low carb foods. I'll definitely be doing a serious version of M&E like I was doing when I started this thread, just to get the junk cravings out of my system. Even tho I haven't really gained much weight, I feel much bigger and uncomfortable just in this last week! I'm ashamed to say what I've been eating everyday. Lots of fast food, which I never really liked anyway. I find myself ordering way more than I need to eat so I clearly have an issue with food! I plan on posting here every day pretty soon for support and accountability. I miss you guys! It's too easy to fall behind once you get to goal. I've done it before and refuse to this time! Thanks for reading my rant And welcome new comers, and WOOOHOOO for eveyone sicking with it!

I'm 171 today despite the tomato protest yesterday. I've been really trying to just stick with M & E, and I've been good all day, but I did have a very small handful of green beans with my chicken. I can't fry fresh green beans in bacon for my family and not sample my work. I've really gotta be more strict with myself. :/ |

I gotta say I'm really happy for you Snoangel! Being so close to home that you can follow low carb is awesome! And nothing beats home-made food anyway!

I'm starting today!
I am starting m/e today. I have been doing a fast 5 style of eating (basically only eating dinner) during the week but then I overdo it on the weekends...too much food and too many carbs. Actually since the holidays I've been out of control and I can't fit into my clothes!
SO...it is time to get serious and drop some weight so I'm not going to work in sweat pants! I need to post to create some accountability! I've hardboiled some eggs to eat at work throughout the day and tonight will probably fry some eggs and bacon. Yum. I hope this works!! You guys are amazing! ![]() Start weight 2/4: 116 |

Greetings and good luck!
Feb 1: 171 Feb 2: 169.5 Feb 3: 167 Feb 4: 167 I started to develop hypoglycemia over the last 2 days. It's a new experience for me. It's not bad so it isn't a crisis or anything. My Post-prandial blood sugar is usually in the 80s, so I am curious as to why I'm going hypo all of a sudden. It isn't terrible. But it is a little worrisome; probably because I know so little about it. Every article I read about hypoglycemia says I'm going to gain weight. How the heck could someone gain weight from low blood sugar? ![]() If my pancreas is pumping out too much insulin, what's causing it? 'Cause I can't fathom a meal of 3 eggs and a strip of bacon would do that. Last edited by Extremelypunctual; 02-04-2013 at 10:39 PM.. |

Your weight is going the right way right now...I'm bummed myself because I'm up a pound from yesterday. What the? I did have cheese though...so it wasn't strict m/e. I guess it was that or I overdid it somehow. ![]() 2/4: 116 2/5: 117 I'm trying to decide if I want to do this again today or not... |

Thanks!! After staying at 171 all of January, I'm happy to be in the "160's" finally!
I kind of blew it today though, (sugar-free chocolate jello and cantaloupe...) so I don't know how far that will hold me back. But I'm fasting tomorrow for 24 hours for routine blood work anyway, so maybe that will offset any damage I did today. *crosses fingers* |
