Thanks for the welcome guys! Ill be Doing an only egg fast for the next week. My goal is to lose 10 lbs.
about 6-10 eggs a day with black pepper and cayenne pepper ![]() ![]() ![]() Apple cider vinegar Green tea Diet coke Tons of water No salt no spices no cheese Occasional butter I've done this in the past and lose 21 lbs in 10 days. Leangirl...Good luck with the egg fast! I saw a thread on here somewhere and even searched the net about it a couple of weeks ago, the losses are fantastic on it! I eat mostly eggs myself on the M/E fast days, for some reason they satisfy me more than meat, especially my scrambled ones YUM! Keep us posted on how it works for you! Well I did my first carbup day yesterday, of course it got way out of control at night and I had to log more than 2000 calories and wayyyyy over 200 carbs, I was so affraid to step on the scale this morning, expected to see at least 4 pounds up but it wasn't as bad!! So for the next 3 days it's carbdown, meat and eggs only, trying this for 1 or 2 cycles to see if the scale starts moving again. 12-22-12---168.8 pre christmas weight 12-26-12---180.2 post christmas weight 01-05-13---168.0 01-06-13---169.6 ***CARBUP DAY*** 01-07-13---170.5 ***Meat and Eggs *** Happy Monday everyone!

Joanne!!! I Thought I was alone in this!!! Lets DO this' ! I hope I get the same results as last time that would be amazing! So day 1 today right !? I ve had two for breakfast sunny side up. Haven't had the chance to eat lunch her coz at work pblly have to wait till later ... Drinking black coffee as we speak! Not gonna lie I'm def hungry but I'mGonna do this ... Are you using butter , hwc etc? I'm not. I was supposed to water fast but this is wayyy better than that and so I m pretty excited! Lets do this! You wanna start a new thread!? |

sour cream, heavy cream, mayo, butter, cream cheese - I don't add too much cheese to my diet when doing meat and egg, but if I do it is usually cream cheese. Also, I have 1 T of coconut oil in my coffee every morning. If you search this thread for my posts, you can see some of my menus.
Everyone is different though and you just have to find what work for you and go with it. For me, this go around was eggs and mostly pork...pork loin roast, pork chops, pork breakfast sausage links... Good luck! |

Lori, I've done meat and eggs already but plateaued absolutely now that I have 15 more pounds to go, so I've decided to try only eggs. We ll see if I get results (: otherwise I don't know what else I can do! Exercise doesn't help anymore either, I see all my muscles buried underneath these 15 lbs of flab on tummy arms and legs !

Leangirl...I just saw that, you lost 21 lbs in 10 days on eggs??? Ima buy 20 dozen today Keep posting in here so I can see how you are doing!!!Lori...congratulations on the 170's!!! you are really kicking butt!!! Cindy...I do a lot of reading, came accross some forums online that are discussing carb cycling to lose weight. I found so many different ones that I really didn't know where to start. The easiest one I found so far is 3/1, 3 days low carb and 1 day high carb, also fat intake has to be different on low and high carb days. Right now I'm just shooting from the hip, I guess we will know more in a few days. Today through wednesday I am doing low carb and higher fat (meat and eggs) then on thursday I will add in the carbs again, oatmeal and sweet potatos, may be some veggies and keep the fat lower, then again 3 days meat and eggs....I think we should know after the second carbup day if it works or not ![]() Last edited by Erika1962; 01-07-2013 at 02:36 PM.. |

Thanks Erika. I have boiled some eggs tonight. I am going to peel all, store 1/2 and devil 1/2.
I did use the baking soda trick, but I think I tried to peel them too soon. I had better success than usual, but still some meat sticking to the shell. So I am letting them cool and then going to try again. I also wondered if I should put more than 1 tsp, because I boiled 18. Right now my favorite is fried o/m and devilled. |
