Good idea, we should still be here. I'm trying to do it until thanksgiving so I can indulge in LC pumpkin cheesecake

when you break this fast I guess you are very careful adding in back foods as to not gain back???

I think I can handle 5 days of this.

I will start tomorrow cause tonight I will work out my food for the next 2-3 days as to have plenty on hand. If not, I won't last the day

very interesting.
I think people keep the majority of the weight lost off.
Yes being prepared is key to sticking with this.

I've never heard of a Brazil nut before Adding it to my grocery list!

So I ate a small piece of beef jerky because my stomach was so hungry. It's still meat just not ideal at all.
I made it home and started up the grill, then grilled some of the most delicious thin pork chops I've ever eaten
I ate three and now I'm full and happy!
I'll eat three tomorrow and then have eggs for dinner.

I'm off to drink lots of water!

This is really interesting-can you eat any kinds of meats? Does it include fish? Do you still use condiments/spices? Are hot dogs off limits? (I just bought some Hebrew National low fat ones today)

I just started JUDDD and I'm still figuring that out, but I might try to do this fast too-what's one more thing to keep track of

I would definitely eat fish! I ate some fresh spot prawns yesterday. Pretty much any kind of meat. I'm trying to stay away from processed meats because of the sugar and fillers in most.
I use all kinds of spices, mayo, reduced sugar ketchup, butter, and cream in my morning coffee.

I've got a fresh natural rotisserie chicken that I just baked tonight, will make some roast for dinner tomorrow, plus eggs. That will be most of my menu the next few days. I do use butter and mayo but I don't go overboard with either. I can't do cream...it stalls me.

Thanks for the answer! I may try this for a few days-I've got 3dz eggs, a new bag of salmon, some tilapia, a couple burger patties and some chicken breast, so that would get me started (plus the hotdogs )

one more question-do you allow any sweeteners? I just made a big batch of egg/chicken salad and the dressing is mayo, mustard and then a bit of splenda. Normally I would eat it on a lc tortilla but I could skip that and just eat it with a fork.

And what about diet soda?

Back in the day before the Kimmer scandal, this was a very popular part of the LC diet on this forum. There were numerous meat/egg fasts going on at any time.

I think I'm up for a couple of days at least. I've got a ton of eggs in fridge right now.

I do splenda only cause I have a small box and am using it up. I'm switching to stevia.

That's my plan too-I just found out Aldi has stevia for really cheap! But I since I am cheap, I'm going to use up my Splenda first lol.

Really? I tried it years ago in drops and didn't like it at all! What kind do you use? I was thinking about trying the vanilla cream.

I'm not tracking cause I think it might stress me for some reason.
But at the same time I'm keeping in mind that too much protein isn't so great. I just don't have a huge appetite so I'm not too worried I'll consume excess protein.

just to be sure today's planned menu is:

2 scrambled eggs, 2 slices bacon

tuna with alot of mayo for lunch

3-4 baked chicken thighs

beef stick if required to keep from eating the whole house.

AND CAN I have sugar free jello? someone mentioned a bit of sweetner is ok. Would this be acceptable?

Tweak my menu if you need too. I want to get this right

May I join please?

I need a jump start on my weight loss, and hopefully, this will do it!

Breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs with sharp cheddar (I didn't realize that cheese was a no-no...oops!...will skip from now on!)

Probably have the same for lunch and dinner.

Hope everyone has a great day!
