Good Morning Everyone
Love coming on this post and seeing so much action Yesterday wasn't to bad for me B-eggs and bacon fried in butter, coffee with hwc and 1 splenda L- bacon and 2 boiled eggs D- I had HAM and a banana split cake , which I got the recipe from here ![]() ![]() I didn't get on the scales this morning bc I know with all that salt from the ham it would send me over the deep end so I stayed away... Be proud of yourself...even if you went over board...because at least today is a new day to start over

You're doing great tho I haven't weighed in a few days and am scared to! I ate so much and it was all bad. Yesterday I ate mainly fudge for all three meals with some jerky on the side ugh, why would I do that to myself!?? (TOM came at the perfect time for eating chocolate covered everything)Being at goal is now the hardest because I've made the mistake before, thinking I could eat whatever I wanted because I was smaller. THAT is a huge mistake and the exact reason I got fat over and over again! It's a viscous cycle that I refuse to repete!!!!!!!! SO TODAY I PUT MY FOOT DOWN! for my health and happiness So far today I've had my coffe w/cream and splenda x2 eggs w/feta, spinach, olives and a piece of gluten free bread. I didn't eat very much of my breakfast. Im just gonna work on drinking lots of water today OH and I did change my username from alizgurl to Snoangel

CINDY That looks uh-maz-ing!!!!!! And I love your comment about being proud of yourself! yes, today IS a new day
Sunny, I would say go for it! you have to make little adjustments to make the M&E fast work best for you and your needs Good luck. I'm SO happy this thread is still going strong I wonder if it would be ok to post something in the main lobby telling people that we're over here and we would love to see some new faces? |

![]() Here's my before pic! I didn't really want to post it but this is me just a few lbs away from goal so I had already lost over 40lbs in the last couple years. I wish I had a before pic of when I weighed around 200lbs I'm not sure what happened to my after photo that was on here but you can click on my profile and look at a side by side of the before and after meat and egg. The before is what I looked like while I was running and working out EVERY day, and the after was achieved by NO working out. Just good ole protein and fat |

Good morning and happy friday everyone ! I am happy to report that I completed my second day of M/E fast, however I got so hungry last night I caved in and had some cheese, but resisted the bisquits my honey had made!!
yesterdays menu: B--boiled eggs S--slim jims L--tuna, egg, mayo D--beef patties, drumsticks S--swiss cheese 12/22--168.2 12/26--180.2!!!!! A number I have not seen since July!!! 12/27--173.6 12/28--174.0 I knew it would be up, too many calories, too much salty beef and then water guzzling in the middle of the night, haven't had a chance yet to pee it out ![]() Cindy...That looks absoluteley amazing, I will have to scan the boards this weekend to find some low carb goodies! Oceana...That after christmas weight completely blew my mind! I know that it is all (or mostly) water because I would have to eat over 40000 calories to gain that much fat, but to retain 12 pounds of water????!! It is official, I am a human sponge! Sunny...Welcome to the board! M/E fast sure is the way to get thos sugar cravings under control, AND flush out a few pounds! Linda...Also welcome! I actually bought me some CO and HWC because I saw the girls on the M/E fast thread are using it. Good luck!

Becky, I'll join in
Linda HWC and CO are good for M&E. I've been using half and half lately cause I had some extra and wanted to use it up. I also put lots of real butter on everything. Cindy, It's funny how we can be so good thru all the added goodies around us and then lose it when It's all over hahaha! It's only funny cause it's life and we're good at "pulling up our socks" The difference between the two pics is maybe 5lbs but im guessing less than that. The before pic is when I was working out all the time, so when I started the meat and egg fast I was a lil bigger in my stomach area than that. The difference from the before and after photo is just one month of M&E fast. That's it!!! ![]() I've been doing it for longer now but have gone off plan for the holidays. (i'm still NOT gaining tho) This fast helped me acheive what I was trying to see for over a year!!! I lost 98% of my weight in the first 9 month of low carb then maintained it and even gained from slacking. But then jumped back in about 5 months ago. I lost a couple and mostly maintained no matter how strict I was!! I logged EVERYTHING. And then......Meat and Eggs saved the day I stopped logging and just ate! and I ate a LOT! If I didn't eat enough, I didn't lose! |

Nope
I remember one day I ate like 5 thin pork chops for dinner. I tried never to stuff myself, but I tried to keep myself satisfied all the time. |

Hello everyone
![]() That's awesome Cindy! I love comfy pjs I got on the scale and saw 135 this morning.... That's 10Lbs below my first goal weight. That's great and all but the only problem is that I've only wanted to eat sweets lately!!! I had an omelet this morning when we went out for breakfast, ate less than half and almost got sick at the table. I really need to stop eating sweets!!! |

Good morning everyone! I had a less than perfect day yesterday, SUPER hungry (TOM in near future), and finished the day off with a block of flippin cheese wich put me wayyyyyy over 2000 calories for the day
, on the bright side I left the croissants alone and didn't have any carbs, expected the scale to be up a couple of pounds this morning but thank goodness it wasn't!! I was out there at 5 am today to shovel snow by hand to burn off the dam cheese ![]() Joanne...Thanks! I just wish I wouldn't sabotage myself so much though! Lori...Great job! Scale moving in the right direction again!! Cindy...Don't you just LOVE those jeans falling off you????!!!!!!!!! Becky...you are doing so good, I wish I had your selfcontrol! Oceana...That has been my problem for the past four months, sweets, I never craved them more in my life! It is a daily struggle for me to not touch any of them! So here comes yesterdays menu...hangs head in shame B-coffee S-1 ounce cheddar and 1 slim jim L-3 scrambled eggs with hwc D-lots of roasted chicken, flax S-half of a cheddar block and 6 slices of swiss ![]() 12/22--168.2 12/26--180.2!!!!! A number I have not seen since July!!! 12/27--173.6 12/28--174.0 12/29--172.4 12/30--172.2 Have a fabulous day everyone!! |

Last night was a tough old night of fighting cravings....falling off the wagon is some hard to get on....I feel like I am holding on to the bumper and being dragged down the street...
Today is day 2 ....lets hope the cravings stop I still haven't had breakfast this morning ... which is odd for me because I love breakfast...but now I'm hungry and I think I will go make an omelet |

I just finished a very interesting conversation with my daughter! We came to talking about the carb cravings, and she told me that she had been going through the same thing for the past few weeks, ever since she stopped taking her daily supplements, wich are multivitamins and vitamin c. That hit me like a truck because coincidently I had not taken any of them either, PLUS I haven't really eaten any fruits or veggies since September (cravings started around that time and haven't stopped!) So could all the cravings be a sign of vitamin and mineral deficiency? I been searching the net ever since, and I might be on to something here! Needless to say I already started popping this morning
![]() Becky...nice drop!!! so happy for you!!! And I will try a BPC for lunch today and see if it helps me! Cindy...I SOOOOOO know how you feel!!! Hang in there, we can do it! ![]() |
