I started reading this thread when it was first started and wow-it's exploded to 17 pages! I'm very interested in trying this for a few days-I did the potato hack fast a few days ago and had great results, but I'm not a big fan of potatoes
However, I think I could live off of eggs I need to go through this thread and see what everyone's been eating/how to do this fast. Might be a good thing to do, before all the holiday food craziness starts for me on Friday Last edited by mom23kids; 12-16-2012 at 02:28 PM.. |

YUM on the Kahlua! Wish I could have some
![]() I also need to drink lots of water! I've been good by marking little tallies on my water bottle. I ate pretty crappy for the last week or so! I'm 138.9 right now, but I feel bloted and I know for my body I could lose at least another 10lbs. well more than that, but I do like a lil meat on my bones!! I enjoy having curves, makes me feel more confident! Welcome Mom ![]() Glad you're joining in! I love eggs, and when I cut down to mainly meat, I didn't lose as good as having at least 4 eggs a day. Although I think it's important to skip a few egg days here and there because many develope alergies to eggs. So my stepmom has baked over 20 different types of bars, all in 13x9 size, a few kinds of truffles, 30 different cookies, HUGE new york style cheesecakes. and much more! WELL, I've decided to test my will power this year and just say NO! goodies will always be around and if I maintain my weight till next Christmas, then yes, I probably will indulge in a lil taste of everything But for now I'm holding my ground and feeling impowered!MERRY CHRISTMAS...Last year was a nighmare for the last few months of the year for me... This year is amazingly good! I'm so happy, content, and enjoying every bit of the holidays

Well yesterday I went a bit overboard on the bacon
Yesterday's menu- 9 pieces of bacon eek! 1 hamburger patty with mayo, ketchup, mustard 2 deviled eggs with mayo 1.5 hb eggs 2 Hebrew National beef hot dogs with ketchup and mustard Today's plan will have at least 4 eggs, a hamburger patty and then tilapia. No bacon lol. |

In an effort to pad my wallet and my calories, I decided to eat in at work because I had some flame grilled precooked burgers in the freezer and some sour cream in the fridge. Great lunch right! Wrong! I was struggling to get through it before I was even finished with the first patty! I have been struggling to get enough calories in during the day, which has been fine if I haven't been hungry and have enough energy. But today my energy was horrible for the first time since starting back in Sept. I looked back over the last few days meals and I just haven't eaten that many calories, but I wasn't hungry.
To make a long story short, I ate all my lunch. But now I may not be able to eat dinner or anything before bed tonight, because I am sooo full. I wish there was a magic formula! My menu may change to: B: coffee w/HWC, CO, splenda; 4 pork sausge links L: two grilled hamburger patties w/sour cream D: cream soda (1/4-1/3 cup HWC, ice, diet soda of choice) or nothing water, water, water

Tweaked my menu plan for today too
![]() 1 hamburger patty with a slice of American cheese, ketchup/mustard/mayo 2 pieces of salmon with tarter sauce serving of pepperoni jerky and then supper will be three eggs scrambled with bacon bits mixed in Calorie wise I'm pretty low for the day, but I'm discovering that's it's pretty hard to eat a lot of calories in just meat and eggs ![]() |

Well I decided to weigh myself yesterday and today, even though I didn't weigh myself when I started the meat/egg fast on Monday. Looking at a daily weight with JUDDD isn't always very accurate because of all the boings/whooshes, but here's what's been happening-
Saturday, the 15th-weighed in again at my lowest weight of 152.5 (saw this weight once the week before but then had some bounces) Saturday/Sunday were both Up calorie days and I ate freely on both of these days (over 2,000 calories each day with carbs etc) Monday-no weigh in/started meat and egg fast Tuesday-weighed in at 154lbs (within a normal bounce range for me after having a big food weekend) Wednesday (this morning)-I weighed in at a new low for me, at 151.5 So I got rid of the big weekend bounce and then lost an additional pound. Very happy with this!I'm going to keep doing the meat and egg fast until Friday, and then I'll go back to my JUDDD rotations. If the next three days go good I may incorporate a meat/egg fast into my monthly JUDDD rotations Today's menu- hamburger patty with slice of American cheese, mayo/ketchup/mustard hb egg 1 piece of salmon with tarter sauce 3 scrambled eggs with bacon bits Last edited by mom23kids; 12-19-2012 at 04:18 AM.. |

![]() I got some wicked cravings the last 2 days. Tough ones but made it thru. by the skin of my teeth!! I want 3 days of meat and eggs. I am starting today!! Just need someone there with me. Hold my hand I got to get better control back. only gained less than a lb about but it was enough for me to know that I don't ever want to backslide. Weight loss has really slowed to the .2 range. whoopee, NOT. I gotta jump start some lbs down that scale. ![]() |

Well, I didn't make the M&E fast yesterday, but had a 1/2 cup of veggie salad. Today I have a carry in and will eat that with the VERY few low carb choices available.
Down .4 today, but happy that I am maintaining my 6 pound loss for this month! Will probably hold off on the fast again until after Christmas now. |

I almost fell off my scale this morning-weighed in at a new low and a new decade AND my end of 2013 goal, at 149.5
I'm kind of in shock right now, to see the 140s on my scale So happy right now! I'm sticking to the same menu as yesterday, except I may go to Wendy's to get my hamburger patty and get their junior bacon cheeseburger, plain, and then take off the bun. |

OK doing well.
ate very good yesterday with meat and eggs. I had a bit of whipped cream in a bowl last night for a taste and then thought---DUH you moron you started meat and eggs! feel great. 3 scrambled, very small bit of cheese, 4 bacon....all messed together and delish chicken wings with a very small amt. of buffalo sauce for spicy taste (cooking alot to have a few in fridge for backup) chicken breast snacks pepperoni, beef stick, chicken wings if needed I AM WANTING TO ROCK THE SCALE DOWN. COME ON STUPID SCALE. |
