4lbs off !!! That's 9lbs in 2 weeks - the amount I usually lose in a month. Feel really pleased about it although I think I'm taking a full week off now to cosset myself during TOTM. I might then do 2 more weeks with 4 days of megging pre-Xmas.... Undecided yet.

Hope everyone's well, and well done on goal AG!

Good morning all Yesterday's M/E fast turned more into a egg and cheese fast. Ate 4 boiled eggs for lunch/afternoon snack and then wasn't hungry for dinner, so I just nibbled on some cheddar, but somehow came in at 1500 calories LOL. Will do my last M/E fast today and then join the potato experiment they are doing right now on the JUDDD side. 3-4 days of potato fast and then back on M/E fast, should be interesting!

Good Morning!

Back to M&E fast for me!

Pre T-day: 192.2
Post T-day Monday: 195.6 eating didn't go well
Tuesday: 195.2
Wednesday: 193.4
Thursday: 193.4 Think I am retaining water due to 53 min workout last night.
Friday: 191.2 OMG OMG OMG!!!

Today:
B: coffee w/1 splenda, HWC and CO
S: 2 devilled eggs
L: BWW wings w/DH
S: (if needed) devilled eggs again
D: probably ground beef, taco sauce, sour cream and shredded cheddar!

My birthday is Sunday, yesterday I had given up on the 180s but hope to continue to lose until Sunday!! I know it is a long shot, but 189.9 would still make me happy! Working out has only stalled me one day, so still getting excited that I may make 189.9 by sunday, if I can just stay away from the drinks over the weekend!! I'm thinking I'll celebrate next weekend or at Christmas, because losing the weight would mean more to me than having the drinks!

Thanks for all the encouragement.

Erika I knew that weight would come back off...Damage control complete That's awesome!

Lori, Wooohoooo here come the 180's!!!

I ate veggies yesterday. Broccoli and cauli roasted with garlic and brussel sprout salad with a small amount of walnuts. YUMMMMY!!! I also had a couple squares of 85% dark chocolate which is much sweeter than the 90%

I was down 1.1lbs this morning.

I do limit it. On M/E, I try not to have more than an once or two. Once I go to induction, I stay under 4oz. I have a control issue when it comes to cheese, so I have to be very careful.

Happy early birthday Lori!!

I ended up accidentally megging today. Went to an Xmas do I'd thought I might let myself go off plan for - but there was just nothing I wanted to eat. So I didn't manage to eat until the evening when I raided the local supermarket and scoffed half a pre-cooked chicken and some cooked prawns and mayo.

Lori!!! Sorry a lil late.
You did great!

Welcome back Becky

Mmm Cindy I love a good hot sauce!!!
I started eating veggies 4 days ago and I ended up eating some chicken dish from a chinese place two days in a row. I know there was some sugar in it but not too much. I ate all the different veggies in it also. I feel a lil bloated today so I'm going to be choosy on what I eat.

Last night for Sunday dinner was...
The best salmon I've ever eaten!!! (I'm from Alaska and have commercial fished so that's saying alot)
fresh ling cod
fresh spot prawns
steak
spaghetti squash
other sides I won't mention because they're worthless to us
All dredged in melted butter
WOW
I think I might upload a couple photos and share the wonderful sight.

I don't think I gained at all. I actually woke up yesterday and felt like I was still losing inches as I tried my clothes on. Today I am bloated so a lil uncomfortable cause I drank my smooth move tea and nothing happened :/

Hope everyone has a great Monday!

So I finally weighed to see what the damage has been over the past 6 months. 245 I've gained 40lbs. I know I can get it off but sheesh. I knew that's about where I was. I just needed to bite the bullet and see the number to get the motivation to get back on track for good.

I'm just going to try to pretend it's not the holidays lol.

So I'm going to do lower calorie but mostly meat/egg.

Today I haven't eaten yet, just been too busy.

This weekend I worked my butt off and ripped my bathroom apart down to the studs and put a new floor in. All by myself. It was so much work and all my body hurts lol. I got the new floor in and new toilet mounted so we can at least use the bathroom. Now I need to try to get my shower in. I'm kinda using internet videos and advice from my brother on how to do all this. I'm a self made carpenter. I bought a jig saw and an awesome blade and now I feel like I could take on the world lol.

Tina - I so sorry you are having trouble. It is a constant struggle at time, I really try to go back over what I have eaten the last few days when I have a setback. A lot of the time I can identify something that was very different in my diet and I will try to avoid that food in the future or at least be aware that if I eat it it may cause me issues. I had that problem yesterday and ate extra veggie salad. I hope you get through today, then tomorrow will be easier.

I am up a little today, but added veggies back in Sunday and Monday. I have a run planned after work today and hope to see the extra pound or two drop off with more by the end of the week.

Happy Tuesday!

Ms Woods How exciting about your bathroom You'll get the weight off, It's just so sucky thats it really is a life long battle!

Tina, Don't get discouraged, we're here for you! Lori made a great point about looking at what you've eaten the last week or so and see if anything stands out.
For me, I can't eat nuts at all right now. I kinda went all out and ate kung pao chicken a couple days in a row and was also mindless about everything I put in my mouth even too much chocolate, it showed on the scale this morning when I was up 1.4. I know it's water because I can feel it but sill it SUCKS.

Lori the veggies got me too, don't get me wrong I love them and think they're good for us but I just ate way too many, now all that added energy I had is gone. Weird.
Today I'm going back to eating real simple. I've thought it out and want to be able to eat a way I'm comfortable with for life and this is it, with once a week or so eating veggies or something with sauce and not worring about it.

Lurker here - just couldn't not compliment MsWoods for tackling her bathroom singlehanded. You are one amazing woman! You are going to succeed at the weight loss too!
I've been following this thread and trying to figure what works for me. I think I have found it here. 7 pounds gone in 2 weeks with no craving for sweets! Whoo-whoo. http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/bbs/im...p_joy_2011.gif I'm also figuring out CO and fat bombs. Yum.

I'm learning a lot from this group. Hope I'll have ideas to share with you too.

Oh Tina dear, I know how you feel, I have days when I just start eating and can't stop. When I'm done with "trying" everything in the house i'm ususally so disgusted with myself and "behave" for a few days, just to do it all over again. Hang in there dear, together we can beat the craving monster

Ocean – I think that is the way I’m going to go as well. A few veggies maybe Saturdays and Sundays, then minimal veggies the rest of the week. I skipped the veggies yesterday, ate a huge lunch, and skipped dinner because I wasn’t hungry. What do you know? Down 1.8 pounds today!! Back to birthday weight and almost to 180s!

SpoWa and congrats on the loss and the “figuring it out.” It is a lot of work and you are doing an amazing job.

Cindy - That is soooooo fantastic! I love it when this type of accomplishment occurs. It totally reinforces our eating choices.

Erika – Thanks so much! Good luck on getting back to M&E. I too have to get back to it after a veggie fest this weekend. LOL, at least it was veggies.

Saturday: 191.6 GRRRRR
Sunday: 190.8 YAY!! Did great today. Stayed on plan, but indulged in some great broccoli/cauliflower salad!
Monday: Battery died on my scale!
Tuesday: 192.6 ( I think)
Wednesday: 190.8 ( back to birthday weight!)

I inadvertently did a M&E yesterday. I am going to try and stick with it today. I want to be firmly in the 180s by Christmas!
