maybe cut cheese out for awhile and eat enough meat and eggs until you're full. Try to stay away from processed meats and get some mayo, butter, coconut oil in for fat. Good luck! and if you find it doesn't work in the next few days, then I would go back to eating veggies. Everyone is so different so it might not work for some. |

I keep on saying on my posts that the more I eat, the more I lose. But it's so true! I ate a HUGE steak one night before bed because I felt hungry and just knew I would gain from it, but instead I dropped almost 2lbs. I've been drinking at least 8 glasses a day sometimes more. Another thing is rest, the more and better you sleep, the more you lose.

Congratulations on the losses, ladies, and keep on truckin'. I'm doing this til thursday (I'm in the UK so no turkey day for me but I have a cheese bake thing that needs eating that day) and then going back to my regular atkins eating thursday through monday, then I may do another few days of m/e (not that I've had a lot of e so far).
I'm enjoying it actually, but I do think veggies etc at the weekends will make it manageable for me if I decide to try it longer terms. Today: Roasted pork belly with spring onion Venison steak with spring onion 1 mini salami stick flax -Couldn't do this without my spring onion (scallions) it goes so well with most meat and just enhances flavour. I only use a small amount so it's almost like seasoning. Also goes well in scrambled egg! Oh and alizgurl - it is SO true that the better you sleep the more you lose. I have serious sleep issues and if I'm having an insomniac week I often sts. After a good night's sleep I usually lose. I think it has to do with stress/cortisol levels. |

I'm really having a hard time staying on track today! I want to eat off plan really bad and I'm trying my hardest to maybe eat veggies instead of something full of sugar and carbs. It's gotta be TOM! By posting this, I'm thinking it will put a stop to me eating off plan at all.

I got off plan this weekend (for one meal) because I got engaged and my parents took us out to dinner. I am back on plan and aiming to lose 2 lbs this week (good luck me with the holidays!)

I've been having a couple cream cheese clouds everyday and I'm finding that they help curb my cravings for sweet (more want than craving, I suppose) I made some tonight with pumpkin and am waiting for them to freeze a little so I can have a couple.

Flaxseed is something absolutely wonderful, and I just LOVE my flaxseed muffins! However, I would be careful taking them after already being constipated for 3 days, I would *clean out* first so there can't be any serious problems like bowel obstruction/ fecal impaction, ( you really don't want to know how I know

Good Morning, Everybody!
Darn it, hit the wrong button and posted too fast, LOL! I just wanted to check in really fast and then I'm probably not going to be on the computer the rest of the day. I apologize for not taking the time to respond to anyone this morning, I see a few I want to respond to. If it's okay, I will do that on Friday because I likely will not be touching the computer tomorrow either. I weighed in at 251.8 this morning and I'm so happy! I may even hit my challenge target of 249 tomorrow! My menu yesterday: 80 oz. water 2 mugs regular coffee w/3 Tbsp. hwc Cream cheese eggs (which were so yum!) 1 Tbsp. coconut oil 2 deviled eggs Today, so far I have had a cup of coffee w/1.5 Tbsp. hwc and another batch of cream cheese eggs. In them I put cream cheese, 2 eggs, butter, and another Tbsp. hwc. I don't know yet what I'll be having to eat for the rest of the day. Probably at least one boiled egg, maybe 2, as I'll be boiling up a bunch to serve deviled eggs tomorrow. So, Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!! I hope you all have a wonderful day! ![]()

Well when I weighed myself this morning (despite TOM) I saw the number 140.9 YAY I was kinda confused and thought It said 150 cause I was so sleepy haha. So I'm a pound away from my second and final goal (1st was 145) That puts me at a loss of 7.5lbs since I started the M/E fast. Have a wonderful day everyone! |

Evenin' all.
Today wasn't the best, mainly because I couldn't eat what I'd planned to for my main meal so I did a quick freeze grab of pork ribs instead. They never seem to cook right for me so I didn't enjoy them or eat much of them, and I put a soya sauce and five spice marinade which was yummy but - I'd have felt better with just plain meat. Today was my last m/e day because I have a cheese bake that needs eating tomorrow - but the week has gone well for me and I'm considering doing it again from Sunday at least for a few days. Today: Venison steak and spring onion Prawns in butter Pork ribs with soya sauce and 5 spice 3 mini salami sticks Flax Have a wonderful thanksgiving everyone! I'm jealous of your turkey!
