I have been eating low carb (standard) for one year. I've lost 60#, but have been stuck now since December. After the holidays it was REALLY tough getting back on track. I have a few friends who have had good success with slow-carb and thought maybe a shift in eating might help me get the last 20# off. I'm so readyto just maintain (obviously that's not an issue lol). Glad to see a thread here on it. I'm completing my second week (tomorrow is weigh day) and haven't had any huge loss, just a pound last week. However, I was doing a few things incorrectly, so I can't honestly blame the diet. I think I've got a much better handle on it after getting the book. Hoping for good success in the following week.

I'm jumping on the slow carb wagon tomorrow and I was so excited to see this thread. I have been low carb for over a year and have been stalled for such a long time that I decided I had to try something different. I'm sure hoping this gets the weight loss moving again.
