My skin is much better and I have had more energy. I don't ever feel hungry. The only time I really get frustrated is when there are treats at work I can't eat. DH says that once I get closer to my goal, the diet is a little more forgiving on those days I might want to sample something. But I can tell in three weeks that I am less interested in sugar.....I think more about starches on my cheat day then sweets.

Today is lasagna and garlic bread for lunch and Mexican for supper!
That is a great result!

I have FINALLY made it below the 40 pound mark.
It has taken a long time.
Now, I hope I can hold onto it.
I am not editing the middle number on my profile, just yet.
Good luck to you this week.
I thnk you are doing great.

congrats!!!!!

i made a boo boo and didn't freeze the left over lasagna.....

hopefully, i didn't do too much damage!

i say i don't want to weigh on Saturday because of my period, but i can't imagine being strong enough to do so.

i keep saying that i need to add exercise. i think that would help.....but i haven't yet!

40 lbs sounds heavenly. i lost 30 last year on appetite suppressants. put every bit back on! my main goal is to weigh less than DH who is at 175! 65 lbs!!! sounds impossible, lol. my ultimate goal would be around 140. i keep reminding myself how dumb it is too look that far ahead!

I was able to do it by taking it 5 pounds at a time, and not thinking any further than that.
Maybe that will help you.
I did it with Crack the fat loss code by Wendy Chant.
It is complicated but that kept it interesting.
There is a link to it on this website, so I guess it is ok to mention it.

This is why I don't like cheat days. I think a weekly cheat "meal" is hard enough. You have so many cravings for days it takes forever to feel good again.

See above. Try a cheat meal instead of a whole day.

Have you tried Beano? I couldn't do this diet without a few bottles of Beano!!

I have the book but have never done this diet. I like beans and am a huge mexican food fan so I bet I could find a way but I think it would be hard to stay on. Funny, the Perfect Health diet says no beans at all and this is the bean diet. Whose right??

I took Beano yesterday and it seems to help.
I just weighed myself and still stuck!
It has been a year of hovering around 185.

I'm not familiar with the other diet. I believe the school of thought with 4 Hour Body is that the beans offer the protein which keeps you from being hungry. And one thing I have found on this diet is that I am definitely not hungry.

One thing that is it or miss with this diet for me is that it's experimental. Ferris says do this and you will lose weight. But then throws in variables. So, I appreciate the flexibility of it....if you do your own experimentation then you might do something that doesn't work. On the flip side, you might find out that a small cookie on Tuesday does work! It's very forgiving.

I promised hubby I would do this for 8 weeks before trying something else. So far, I am okay sticking with it. Sigh.

Have you tried any of the vitamin supplementation he suggests?

I decided to weigh in even though I'm not supposed to (since period will start any day) and somehow I squeezed out another pound. I'm very surprised actually.

So, after 4 weeks I am down 10 pounds. It could have been better if Valentine's Week wasn't so tough! And I believe exercise will help too. Maybe I will start on Monday.

Do you measure or weigh your food? Do you know exactly how many calories your are eating in a day? This is usually the problem. Post a menu.

As for supplements, I like 7-Keto DHEA from Now Foods. It's supposed to be a metabolism booster and it mentally makes you more alert. I get it from Netrition.

I tried the coconut oil in coffee this morning. FAIL! Too much like an oil slick. I wonder about a coconut oil creamer. I will look for that.

I was 239.6 on Friday morning, and I typically lose another pound on Friday's, so I did have a loss!! Just not sure what.

I need to shake things up a bit.
I am still the same, although I had people over for LOTS of spaghetti and meatballs Wednesday.
So, at least not a gain.

I am still here, but I'm not really following this diet anymore, not really following any to be honest. I'm kinda just letting people put food in front of me and eat it. My life is not in a good place right now so I'm kinda giving up on this weight loss until I can figure my life out. =(

(((((hugs))))) Try not to put too much pressure on yourself, but remember your diet can have a direct effect on your mental well being too!

I dropped 30 pounds last year and gained it all back through emotional eating which in turn put me further into my depression. I was so disappointed in myself.

It's a slippery slope. We are hear to listen!

Oh I'm not depressed or anything like that. It more of a breakup that's gone bad that is now turning into me suing my ex since he is trying to screw me over in every possible way. =(

234.5 as of Saturday. 16 lbs in two months. wish my loss was more, but it's been slow and steady and i'm sure that is probably better in the long run.

Hey, That is very good. Look at it this way, in 2 more months it could be 32 pounds at that rate!.

only problem is that Spring Break is next week....while i am going to try not to be totally gluttonous....i do expect a gain that will take a few weeks to work off.

I love this diet, and it is way easy I think. Have lost 25 pounds and have kept it off for over a year, with out even trying. Just keep alot of Beano around
