I'm using psyllium husk with great success for "clogging". Adding it to dukan-pancakes or dukan-muffuns.

natosha why only the egg whites? You are missing so many vitamines and good fats by not eating them... at least add half of them....

Natosha you need to vary what you eat or you will not be successful. Have you not added vegetables yet? By now you should be doing both PP & PV days...

Well, I ended up going off dukan. I had lost @7 pounds in two days. When I went to work that night I had a couple of dizzy spells. Ended up going home half way through the night. Weight went back up to 178. I've just been trying to watch amounts this past week and am back down to 175 right now. Hopefully I'll stay there for my weigh in tomorrow!!

hi all jumped off dukan because i only love mear n dairy.. n FAT \
so went to my past diet of tons dairy and butter stick or more a day cheese 8oz butter 8tblsp or more meats/eggs/fish been great getting lighter since dukan just work to maintain same but taste of no fat made it unpleasent i need cheddr or butter w/ eggs or on meat lol but dukans great just bit dry |

Then stay on the Dukie way and add your fats as long as you keep losing! It wont work if you dont like what you are eating! Just stay away from those carbs and do the PP days... Hugs!

Sweetie, go back to lean & vegetables... when you start losing again
Then add back a little healthy fats... if you are still losing at the end of a week you can add a little more... At the point you quit losing CUT BACK to where you were previously.. keep a record so you will know what you are doing a food log is a terrific asset... ![]() |

Isn't it egg whites if you have high cholesterol? Or something like that. I used whole eggs when I did Dukan and had no trouble. Ate more than the book said too.

are you using fat free products?? if so, you might want to try the 2% and see if that helps. I read somewhere in the book or online that you can use the 2% dairy products. Might be worth a shot!

I used 2% with no problem...
6 mos into Dukan I read about healthy fats... have been basically fat free for maybe 15 years with no weight reduction but my brain quit working well... long story no room here. I added back the egg yolks, some VCO and olive oil. Then added in my bacon again and the occasional sausage patty... did not slow the progress or reverse it but MY MEMORY PROBLEMS STARTED IMPROVING! I FOUND OUT THAT THE BRAIN IS ALMOST ALL FAT AND CHOLESTEROL AND WITHOUT HEALTHY FATS YOUR BRAIN STARVES. So listen to your body! If you see a slow or increase in your weight then you may have added too many fats (even good fats have calories that need to be burned).

Today is day 7 of a 10-day attack phase, and I'm down almost 8lbs.
I'm looking for some suggestions for the oat bran. I tried the "gallette" the first day, and it was dreadful. 2nd day I stirred the oat bran into some 0% Fage. Didn't taste bad, but I just couldn't swallow it. So, I took small spoonfuls and swallowed with water like a pill! Now I just mix in a 1/2 glass of water and drink it down. I consider it a supplement, so I'm not looking for a gustatory experience, but it would be nice to make it into something I could chew! With the weight I've released so far, I now have 50lbs. to go.
