Eating clean!!

Ok hear we are kind and me port..starting anew journey in our life's .hope more join us..

Iam 55 been on and off diets most of my life,so I decided to do it right and never diet again. I found out about 8 weeks ago I found out I had a really bad back ache.d.r. Said my back looked like a war zone.so he was going to send me to a pain management .so it took so long for them to get me in,I started walking and eating better.guess what no pain.wohoo.so I'm going to keep this us.i told my daughter that I have not had this much energy in years,,,,I love it...( p.s I can't spell so forgive me on that) ...yes we can do this together can't wait till you get started.
I weigh 189. Now want to get down to135 -140 sure hope you can come here everyday or so I will try too.

Hi Port,
Im a bad speller too.
My husband is retired also._3 years now. We love it. I never really worked.
I hope to get down to 115-120, but first thing first. Loose the 30lbs I put back on.
Im 62 years. Ageing very very well.
Dont look my age or feel it.
I take no meds. I went from taking high blood presure, chol. meds. But was taken off them. but i have to get back to losing weight or i will be back on.
I love to read, It also helps me reading diet books and looking at recipes.ect.
I still got to get that Nutri bullet{ some reason I think it will help me get back on track.
I should wegh and have 90-110lbs but I will be happy with seeing 120.
I seem like I start and then regain.
I hate that when i do that.
Like I said I hope others will join us and stay with us. I would like to find here some one with thoughts of doing and doing Nutri bullet and or a vegatraine type diet.
On my cals Im doing no more then 1200-1400 and see how that goes.
You have done so well and you seem to be staying with walking.

I will post often too. We can just post too just to say hi.
Come on Ladies do join Port and I to a better way of dieting.
Drum roll please for what port has done in a short time. Good for her.

I just bought me a magic bullet today..my daughter has one and I love hers .we make a shake with Greek yorgurt ,flax seed,coconut water.and fruit.wow it is great..

How much do you weigh now..are you waiting to post on Monday..you can do this,,,,no we can do this..

My husband retired from military 20 years ago..he is 63. We have been married for 17 years..I was married 25 years first time..got married when I was 14... I have a son 40 a daughter 38 and a son 36. 5 grandson and 1 granddaughter .they live in Indiana.maryland.and pa.

Just made me a sandwich ..no bread just boar heads ck breast .swiss cheese.spinch.and mustard..ummmmmm..water..having birthday party for granddaughter so had to eat early..guess I'll eat 6 almonds later..

We had birthday party I did not eat no cake...really didn't want any at all.had fun I did body painting for the 8 little girls..well guess I'm off to bed now.

Good morning kind..I hope this energy feeling never goes away...I love it.....lost another lb now that's 197-188 in 11 days not bad...and I am eating carbs..I went on Atkins several time lost great 70 lbs in 5 months.but I always gain it back,so this is my first time in my live eating healthy..
Yesterday menu I was very busy..
B- 10 almonds
L- chicken Swiss chesse,spinach with mustard
S- pumpkin seeds
D- green beans.chicken.swiss chesse.spinach.
Drink. 7 bottles of water..

Had a pedicure yesterday haaaaaaa. My daughter lost a bet.so she had to pay..

P.s. I walked with granddaughter 2 miles...

Port, what a great job you are doing. Your menu looks good. water is good too. It is always fun when we win bet with daughters.
HaI weigh in Monday is that should be a bad surprise.ha
I need to drink more water also. That is another hard part for me.
It has been so nice and cool. Heat we sure had alot of it this Summer.
Cleaned some today.
Right now been watching movie called Hell on wheels. It is pretty good.
I also like watching Biggest loooer whenit is on {Which should be in Sept.

Monday I start. { Like so many times before.
I still was not able to get the Nutri bullet,[But will as soon as one comes in.
But I will start Monday. I have a blender to blend my smooties.
Im not much on eating BreakfastBut will try. I get up around 9;30am. so I eat lunch which is soup and 2 rice cakes which come out to 290 cals.and I eat 12-0r1pm, Then dinner is around 5;5;30pm.
I got to try to drink more water too.
I had my last diet pop today. I have none in house but we will see how that goes.
Got to restart my sulpements also.
The next 2- weeks will be the hardest for me.
I just need to get going and stay with it. And u are right.It is more healthy way of eating.But for me i have to count cals and potions along with types of food.
Lots of veggeis and beans and brown rice and so i. I can not wait to get bullet.
i think that will help me .
Weigh in Monday. so hold your breath along with me.ha.

Today is the day. I have a very bad headache ,
I do have vit b12,
I think I have just about all stuff Dr.Oz. saids.ha
My weigh in today is >>175. Aug.13
I will post my lunch in couple hrs.
I just got up 9;30.
I dont drink coffee,{ always have coke Zero.But Im now out of it.

I do tea.{at times.
Green tea I just dont like.
My tea is plain.and i have flavaort water{I get at walmart. but i dont see were that is diff. from diet pop. so Tea and plain water{With leamon.
Right now im going to try to get rid of my headache..

Hi Becky,
So far it looks like you and I.

I just made me a salad@2T.fat free dressing. with 2 veggie burgers.
My snack was 1 cheese stick and 1/4cup almonds.
I just dont feel to good today. But one thing have not been hungery.
I was watching Dr. Oz.
But thought I would drop in. How are you doing? Seems u got this eating down.

Morning kind.hope you are feeling better today..I had a rought night my daughter upset me.stress I hate it..so said she hopes I do this diet and sticks with it.she seen me do this to many times.it was not what she said its how she said it.made me cry..my mom and I don't talk.cause she is always putting me down,it just seems like I really try in life someone just wants to knock me down..I had a bad thought last night..I want to get in my car run away from ever one and never come home never....but I guess I love them enough to stay..but I'm tired.been a long year..dad past away a year ago not got over it yet.

Sorry for the spill out..hope I did not gain weigh.

Hi Becky.
Sorry you had a bad night.
Sometimes you have to just close the doors and let just your thoughts come in.
Say we do fall back{ We wont. But the most importand thing is we keep restarting.
It is so easy to be fat and un healthy.{More fun too.
I have been down that road too.
I kept weight off 4 years and now regain 30. I like how i felt last year. I felt good,looked goodect.
sometimes u have to tell family if they can not surport you in weight lost please dont say nothing.
i do feel better. went to bed at 10;30pm and that is early for me/ i go to bed at 1-1;30am but dont get up till 9;30
i did good with eating. maybe not feeling so well.{Helped
my lower back hurts today but not bad,
that 2lbs. you will have off in 1-2 days . just watch closer today.
I have so much house work. It rained all day yesterday. I have my MOm here for 3 weeks. take her back home in week or 2. she has alhazmaere{ Missed spelled.
Becky we can do this. It is good to have surport u have it with me.and i know others here have been down the same old road.
They say if you can do 28 days healthy u will win in many ways.
we can not be good all time. just 99[ha
and if we eat 1 bad thing then we have to watch the rest of the day. dont be so hard on yourself. u are doing it. now get to work.

The thing is I ate the same as the day before..that shows me that stress causes weigh gain.this is the first time I've had stress since july 30.. But im not going to let other stress me anymore.thanks for supporting me..this is what it all about.

I feel like im getting another headache.Maybe cause no diet pop.{ But I did have 1 yestarday.

Hi Becky,
I had 1 diet pop, Made me pitcher of plain tea and been having that.
So far Im doing good. I feel good about doing this and getting back to eating healthy.
Today as I said I had soup,cheese and 2 rice cakes. Tonight for dinner making chicken. I will do mine on the grill{Inside and have 4 oz. grilled chicken breast and a bigg salad with 2T. dressing.and maybe 1/2 c black beans to put in salad.
Then later tonight maybe around9pm will make me a kerfir with frozen fruit. it makes a great smoothie for around 300cals.
I will add up all later. But staying around 1200-1400or so. Just depends on how it goes.
Thur. Mom and I will go to target and see if they got Nuturi bullet in and walmart too. Maybe a subway for my lunch .6in.The kind i usally get is 300cals.really 290 but i avg.it out.
For me Becky I have to know my cals. and I have to write it down. Now to get with walking. I just might do that Wed. but can only do 1 mile because of my Mom.
I love to read diet books too and I have them all.ha
Im glad I have u to do with.
I think{No Know that if I make the rest of this month with no falls I should be on the right road ahead. Once i get going and stay and start losing i seem to do ok.

Glad your doing ok..you can't give up ever thing all at once the pop.will take time.i miss it some day.we are leaving daughters tommorrow for husband daughter in ga.i got a bad cold today runny nose and eyes yuk.not a good time for this.
S- 4 oz chicken green beans and onions cooked in coconut oil.was very good.

Hi Becky,
I just got done eating. and I could not finsh it. So will have the rest of slald tomorrow.
I did add black beans 1/2cup to it and that might be why Im full.
For my day today came to 650cals.{ Really less since i couldnt eat all but Im still counting it.
And I will have that smoothie at 9pm with my show. If I dont feel like a reg. one I could make 1/2 of it 4 0z. instaed of 8 oz.and that will still be a great low cal. day for me.
I dont what to under eat.and that will add for 40z. 150 and for a 8 oz.is 300.
I got out my 400 cal. a day recipe book out and was looking at that.
I pretty much eat the same thing most days.
Thats why I thought also to keep cals. up and still 1000-1400 that that Bullet would help me get more veggies and fruit in. When i get it Im doing 1 lig. meal a day. maybe 2 and a meal. but we will see.
Now [I] have dishes to do, Do u have to cook diff. for husband?
You know what Becky. Im going for 1 mile walk now with Mom.

My husband is good about eating what I cook. If Im watching or diet he will too. He has been watching what he eats too but he started a month a go.
Went for 1 mile with Mom. she is 84.
but it is a start for us both.
My husband ride bike over 10 miles.
I love subway like i have said. he not so much. So when him and school buddies go for lunch there are 12 0r more from high school. they meet each month. im going to subwayand get a 6in,
i feel better today in fact feel like im ready to hit the heathy road and go.ha
one day at a time.
but at least i started. hope i keep feeling good and do for this month.
hope you feel better. enjoy your trip.
You can eat healthy most of the timeand im sure you will do great.
[on trip. it is harder when u are trying to watch and u go some were.
if i dont hear from u have a safe trip. i will write each day so u know how im.

I also read to and seen on Dr. Oz. about taking vinger to help with weight loose.
Daughter and i did it couple months ago. but boy that is hard. i guesse hold nose and drink.ha.if i do i just will think burn fat burn.ha

I lived in Japan for 3 years the Japanese women drink it ever morning.yuk.maybe when I make my shakes in morning i could put a little in glass and mix it!,,worth a try...have you heard about the whole30 diet go look. It up..I might try it when I get home from vacation ..I am sure glad I found you..it helps to talk to someone understands about losing weight...husband went got me some cold meds.hope it helps.i ll be traveling tommorrow .i check in several times while we're on the road.i have my i- pad...Have great night.(Becky)
