Mornin' Jeannie! So glad you're enjoying WW! It feels great to be in control, yes?

I'm still sniffling and feeling puny.

Hi all, I haven't been on plan as much as I would have liked, but I did re-join the gym today. I am hoping that will help motivate me.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Hi Blonde! Are you able to count points and stay on track despite your cold? Sickness always gets me off track. I fall apart anytime I get a sinus infection. I hope you feel better soon.

Rotay- I think exercise is essential. The key is to find something you like. The more you have to force it, the more likely you will be to give up/skip it.

I still can't quite get my head around those who say that exercise doesn't help with weight loss. I know it's possible to lose with diet alone, but if exercise makes no difference, why do we get activity points? It just never added up for me. I always exercise no matter if my diet is on point or not. Good for you for getting back to the gym!

I too believe in exercise-not just for weight loss but for overall good health!! I also think you have to find something you like to do. If for some reason I do not exercise I REALLY miss it and so does my body I can tell!!

Jeannie~ Thanks! I feel better and can actually breathe through my nose today.

Rotay~ Yay for re-joining the gym! It will help in a lot of ways, you'll feel better, you'll gain activity points and self confidence.

JMC~ Thank you. I've been lucky and not hungry so my points are down. I try to track no matter what. It's never as bad as I thought.

Where is everybody??

I have been doing pretty good with WW only having one bad day with binge but I just used my extra points for the week. I lost 1 pound this week and I must say I feel pretty good and not deprived-which for me is key to not binge eating!!!

How is everybody else-hope great!!!

So how is everybody going to approach Thanksgiving? Save up all your flex points, or have a free day and get back on track Friday? This is a challenging time of the year for me. It seems like everybody wants to shove food in my face and then act offended when I say "no thanks."

I think whatever works best for each individual. When I allow myself to 'eat freely' on Thanksgiving, I find I eat less. Forbidden foods always make me want them, know what I mean? I do want to keep 'special treats" to special times, like Thanksgiving. Otherwise, I'm being a binge eater and that's no good for me. So, yes, eating on Thanksgiving...back on track the day after.

Hi everyone...been on WW for 1 week and it's my first try...and do love it...it is a very defferent kind of eating...i've never been a vege and fruit kind of person...but hey they are free...i know now by being in WW that i've been eating waaaaayyy too much....so hoping to change this habit for a lifetime..the last couple of days,i've been shopping and calculating...and wow i'm impressed how food we are allowed to eat within those points...you just have to plan every meal ahead of time(i think)...

Like to join your group, will probably need the encouragement and motivation in the near future...lol

I agree with the idea that if I label something as "forbidden," then that makes me crave it more. I know I'm going to use my calories for the dishes I really love, and then choose mostly protein & veggies as the bulk of my meal.

At the risk of sounding like the Captain of the "Mutual Appreciation Society"...well said Jayce. How many Holidays were spent in misery? Agonizing over food choices? We are coming into a blizzard of Holiday eating and so:

1) Track track and track some more. No mindless eating allowed. If you're going to put it in your mouth, track it. Better yet, track it ahead of time. whatever you do, track it. It's the key and you know it.

2) Choose your poison. You want dessert? Great. You want cocktails? Fine. You want bread and butter. Okay. BUT NOT ALL AT ONCE. Am I right? Whatever you want, not all at the same time.

3) Between Holiday gatherings eat lots of fruits and veggies, stay on point as much as possible. Jump back on, every day.

Anyone else want to add some stuff?

Blonde, ITA -- I'm not going to make myself miserable or "mopey" during the holiday gatherings. I AM going to make informed decisions, however!

Hope y'all are having a great day so far.

Well I hate to say it but I went back to the Wine and Crackers diet for a little while. I think I have sat thru the last memorial for my husband until next year. He was a Firefighter who died in the line of duty and he was also a Pastor. So I maintained and did not gain. Doing good this week, but it is only Thursday, so one day at a time. I am determined to start back walking this weekend. I am going to map out my 3 miles in my new neighborhood, that should be kind of fun.

Hi, everyone I'm still rocking the WWPP plan, and I'm still lovin' it! I had my weigh-in/meeting on Wednesday, and I had another milestone....I'm down 70.2 lbs now I am a little less than 25 lbs from goal!!!

I've been stressed the past couple of weeks. My husband lost his job and we already live paycheck to paycheck. Thank goodness my bosses are very good to me and are letting me work 13 hour days. I'm very tired but very thankful. I don't want to let go of WW right now. I've come so far. I'll give it another month, but if DH doesn't find a job, I'll have to drop out. I know the program inside and out, so I'll still be okay, but I love my meetings.

I hope everyone is doing well and having a wonderful weekend

Hi everyone! I'm still around, still doing WWs and loving it, down in weight.

Life has been very challenging and I am still doing well so to me this is proof that WWs is a life time thing that I can TRULY live with!

Hope all are well and I promise to be back and posting often when this merry-go-round slows down some! You guys are always in my thoughts!

Howdy. Started WW online this week. It was a hard decision because I LOVE LC foods but I travel for work and I was finding it hard to make it work. Not loving it but I am getting used to it and I like the mobile app to track my points. I figured I'd check in to read some success stories when I miss my high fat foods. So you better be inspirational, .

Still navigating the website to find the helpful information and get the most use out of the program.

Oh my goodness, according to my scale I gained 10 lbs. in 3 days!!! Not even kidding! I'm sure 2/3 of it is fluid but still.....

I'm getting back on track tomorrow for sure! I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to drop out of the WW meetings. With my husband still unemployed and now I'm having to pull tons of overtime at work to help make up for it, I don't see how I can afford it. I also can't afford to leave work to go to my meetings anymore. I just can't miss the overtime. Sooooo......I may have to wing it on my own. I know the program like the back of my hand. The only thing is that I love having the accountability of the weigh-ins. But I know I'm equipped with enough knowledge and experience to do it. I may just have to use my WW peeps on here for accountability now.

It's not the end of the world. I can always rejoin when he finds a job. I'll miss my leader and being part of a group of like-minded people, but I don't see any other option at this point.

Anyway, I'm thankful for Thanksgiving being over and the leftovers almost being gone!

Now to get this 10 lbs. off before Christmas
