Well, I am up .2- disappointed, but not totally unexpected. I just couldn't undo last weekend. Going to try to stay on plan and not over indulge this weekend. We have a birthday party at Mexican restaurant on Saturday, then cookout on Monday. Staying vigilant and SOBER should help.

Ugh! I am back up a couple of pounds and in the midst of one of those, "It's a holiday weekend and I want to eat, drink, and be merry!" moods.

I've been there a couple times myself. We're having a quiet Memorial Day weekend so I think it will go well WW wise. Next weekend we're going to a big birthday bbq so I HAVE to stay OP until then and then I'll use some of those extra points.

My weigh in was today. I'm was down 2.2 lbs for a total of 20.6 YAY! I'm super thrilled! I this plan!!

My WW meeting was Tuesday and I was down 4.6 pounds!!
That's the biggest loss I've had with WW. My leader asked what I was doing differently...I didn't dare tell him "WW w/a twist of LC"

It's working!!

Tina, that is a great loss. If asked again, as you continue losing you can just tell them that you are being more careful about your carb intake. It might open the door for further discussions within the group or even one on one. I don't think that we have people in our group that necessarily follow a low carb woe, but we do have several that talk about lowering their intake of of carbs overall. Of course, their ideas and mine differ on what constitutes as high carbs. . You are doing awesome, keep up the good work. I bet that your husband is so proud as well.

Sounds like everyone is having a great losing week! So proud of you all I myself, haven't loss anything, but didn't gain either, which is okay,as it wasn't one of my better weeks. Too much eating out and not enough planning. I resolve to be better this week and make better meals.

Good job SRS. How long is that contest at work going to last? Where are you in the standings? Will there be a prize? I hope that it is being divided between genders, since guys seem to lose more and faster.

We do 12 weeks at a time, and this is our third round. A guy won the first round, my 55 year old bookkeeper (a lady) won the second round, and the third round will end in four more weeks, at the end of June. We buy in for $5 each, and the whole pot goes to the winner. I also give the weekly winner a free hour of vacation, unless it is me (not right for the boss to win...but I am glad I have some employees trying to improve their health, and it helps keep me accountable, too!)

Great plan! I'm pretty chatty about WW at work too. A co-worker has started recently and another one is thinking about it. Even that is a huge improvement because before they were all very regularly drinking ice cream coffee drinks and eating fast food daily. I try to bring really yummy healthy food in my lunch to show that WW isn't about deprivation. I've found it's more about planning and preparing. Lately I've been hooked on steel cut oats with blueberries. It's so yummy!

Happy to see much success in this group! I went far into my weeklies yesterday and that wasn't a smart move. I'm doing great on my activity for the week and with drinking water. Would you believe that our WW group is doing weigh ins tomorrow evening as Monday is our regular day? I'm o.k. with it tho as it will help keep me on plan I'm sure. Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

So I've been on WW + for a little over two months with little to no exercise . Today I decided to BEGIN some sort of exercise no matter how small. With that in mind I took a walk for 22 minutes and did 10 "modified" push ups.

YAY Penny! I'm more and more convinced that some kind of activity is necessary so I'm glad you got some in. I weighed in last night and had a 1.6 lb loss for the week. It's coming off very slow it seems, but I am losing with WW/lower carb and I'm thrilled with that!

Well, all I can say is that I totally had too many points. I am trying to redeem myself the rest of this week. I am doing simply filling today, so far, so good. For dinner, I had 2 pcs Canadian bacon, 2 eggs, 2 pcs toast, light butter. For a treat/snack, I am going to have a WW smoothie. I only have to lose 7 points to be back at lifetime range, and I just keep messing up. Of course, I want to weigh less, but that # will put me in the not having to pay group, and free e-tools. Hope you all did better than I did yesterday.

After trying other diets, I found I need the occasional carb. I am going to switch over to WW. I have ordered the 2012 starter kit, and can't wait to get it.

Great loss! I'm definitely going to "move" at least 3x a week. Surely I can do that!

YUMMY dinner! I can't wait to be lifetime! I'm not sure what I need to weigh to be there. I'm sure they want me to weigh less than I do though. Maybe my doctor can vouch for me once I lose some more.

I think you will love this program! I'm definitely a carb eater but I don't go crazy. Today I ate a lot of fruit though. I love blueberries and strawberries so I eat them every day. I do know that I didn't get fat eating fruit! lol! I go to meetings so you might check one out. I think they're fun and I really like the group dynamic even though I generally just sit and listen to other people talk. I like when our leader announces how much we all lost for the week. It really encourages me.

Well - I realized today I haven't posted much this week. Weigh in is tomorrow and for some reason I've been up 2 lbs since last week. I was so good this weekend and this week so can't figure it out - maybe some salty foods that I can't figure out or ?. I also haven't been able to get in all my water - that doesn't help either. So, tomorrow will be a surprise (maybe good / maybe not). Since I know I was on plan I assume it will show up on Friday -- the day after weigh-in. LOL

Glad to see we have some new folks too. And, looks like we have some success at weigh in this week for some folks - congratulations. I do believe this plan is doable and I do enjoy the occasional carbs. Fruit -- oh I love fruit. Well - I'll post tomorrow.

Hockey- good luck with weigh in. Mine is on Friday, so I am trying to flood with water since I had a higher sodium day yesterday.

Liro- welcome. I hope that you will feel at home here. Post often, we love getting to know everyone.

Now that the holiday is over, maybe we can all be a bit more focused. The next big holiday is July 4, and it falls on a Wednesday. I am thinking because of that, maybe there won't be as much partying??? Or should I say - indulging?

Have a great day.

Down .6 lbs. So not sure why all week I showed up 2 lbs but yesterday (like Rotay60) I flooded with water and was careful to watch the sodium. I'm so happy with that.

I was so hungry when I got home from work. My family wanted to go to get chicken wings so I went along. The entire ride I said 'eat salad' but I got there and ordered chicken. I didn't eat many - had a tiny bit of blue cheese dressing - and a few fries. Way less than I ate in my 'past life' but poor do I feel miserable. My belly is killing me - I'm used to eatting that junk. Isn't it amazing how you get used to eatting healthier and this stuff now bothers you?

Well - I have to go calculate my points. I sure hope it's not too bad.

Going to meetings was what helped me get to lifetime way back when. It was when I thought that I could handle it on my own that messed me up. I did ok for a while, but without the inspiration and motivation....well you can guess what happened. I was not active on the boards back then, so my meetings were where I went for encouragement. And also made friends along the way. Thank God, that i didn't gain it all back before realizing that I want/need my meetings. Once I reach lifetime again , will I go every week....probably not, but I will go often. People at my meetings seem to get attached to each other. It is sorta like a social club. And just think, once you become lifetime, you get to go for free and get e-tools for free. Sometimes I don't mind paying a price for encouragement and an opportunity to meet with friends, heck I pay more than that when I go out to eat with non weight watcher friends.

I'm not trying to dog you for not wanting to pay for meetings, I just wanted to share a positive note about them. Good luck in your journey. We are always here to help encourage you if need be.

I'm having a bit of a hard time this week. OK, I'm having a lot of a hard time. I just can't seem to eat right after say, 7 p.m. I guess it's more of that self-sabotage. I know I need to plan my points out the day before but I haven't been doing it. Maybe I will put that on my list of things to do today!

Avon, can you post a sample of your day? Maybe we can see something that you aren't noticing. You could need more protein or fat at night? Or maybe a WW smoothie- yum.

Lisa, I totally see your point. My company is paying for 1 year's fees and we have someone come into the company for our meetings. I'm not sure I would have paid for it on my own but...now I totally see that the initial sessions totally helped me understand the plan. They answer questions that may pertain to your personal situation - for example - I wasn't losing for a few weeks - turns out I wasn't eatting enough - seems strange but true. Another friend was eatting all her points and not losing - turns out for her she wasn't having enough fat in her diet. So, for that reason alone the cost of the meetings were worth it. Would you have to continue to go forever - no. If you go for a while and don't like it - stop going (only after you try other meeting days/places - a good leader is key).

Also, the etools have a community section and lots of good encouragement posts. This site is so helpful too. Either way - I'm finding this plan is something I can do for live. I try to stay LC so the cravings don't make me crazy. Like last night - I had a few wings and a few fries. Then I totally craved chocolate -so I had a few M&Ms. Ugh...put all within my daily points - so...I was happy and I'll move on. So - this is a 'life plan' - you can still have a good time and move on. With only LC I used to feel guilty and it would cause me to have a few days of binging.

Good luck - we're here to help you

I totally agree! The meetings keep me accountable and motivated. I really like seeing the receptionists, our leader, and the people that show up every Friday. I know that I'm not in this alone and that everyone struggles from time to time and that we just all need to keep plugging along. Last time I had a couple bad weeks so I didn't go and pretty soon I hadn't gone in a couple months and then I was embarrassed for gaining and not going..........
Idiot! I'm super happy to be back and steadily losing. My WI is in a little bit so I'll post again later. It was going to be GREAT but we went to Buffalo Wild Wings Wednesday and I used some of those extra points. My WI should still be okay but not GREAT.

Happy Friday!

I totally did the self-sabotage thing this week, too.

Last week I lost 4 pounds and got cocky/lazy. Cheated several times this week, and was only down .2 of a pound at today's weigh in. serves me right.

Well, I stayed the same this week, and that is ok. Did I want a loss? Of course. Did I expect a loss? Not really. So..today begins a new week, hallelujah. I am going to try my best to spread my weeklies throughout the week rather than using them all up on the weekend.

So far..
B - fruit, coffee, cream
L - grilled Cajun chicken salad, full fat ranch, diet Coke w/lemon
S- fruit
D- grilled steak, baked potato, salad with full fat ranch, and light butter. By will count points for dressing and butter.
