Hi ladies! I did not weigh in last week because I was on vacation. Went to a week in Florida. it was so sfun. I did not track, but I did split a lot of meals and we kept it to usually 2 meals a day, but it is tough eating out all week. However, most days we were walking 10 miles a day (we have UP bands) so I am hoping that it stays ok. We will see tomorrow!

OMG, I had my weigh-in/meeting this morning and after my 4-lb. loss last week, I gained 0.2 of a pound this week. I'm trying to keep in mind that it has to be fluid fluctuations, but those scale numbers get to me sometimes

id consider that maintaining. with a 4 lbs loss you're still probably averaging 2/lbs week.

I've been retaining fluid like mad lately and I don't know why. I'm not eating more sugar or salt. I'm chugging along doing the same things. So I decided to start drinking water. I only drink Snapple and Diet Pepsi all day. I have a terrible addiction to them. Giving them up right now is out of the question. I'm stubborn However, I'm going to add in the water. Baby steps

Had my weigh-in/meeting today and I'm down 1.8 lbs I'm at a new low at 169. I've not seen the 160's in years, so I'm extremely happy about that!

I've been drinking 1/2 a gallon of water a day. Not liking it, but I'm doing it. It has helped with the swelling in my ankles.

I hope everyone is doing well!

you're welcome!! 40 lbs is way less than you started with so congrats. i started with 97 lbs from goal weight, that is daunting. now im at 62 which is still daunting, but a little less. i've got until next march to get as close as i can and it'll be my one year mark.

we've just gotta keep on trucking and we'll get there. eventually. as long as we can deal with the ups and downs and not quit we wont be defeated.

Hi ladies and thank you Carol Ann and wtg too!

My grocery choices are really changed since I'm logging pps, everything is leaner and lower fat but still keeping some good fats. I've also added in more veggies, gradually adding in ff cottage cheese and yogurt, they haven't caused weight fluctuations, other than that, I'm still low carb, no sugar for sure.

The same thing was happening to me until i started 5:2 in addition to my WW tracking... you should give it a try...

There is a lot of info available online if you google "5:2". basically for two days a week you eat very low calorie, like 500 and the other days you eat a regular amount of calories. On my "5" days i follow weight watchers and on my "fast" days i stay around 600-700 cals and have been able to records losses almost every week for months.
