Wooo!! on the 50 # lost! That is awesome!

Well I weighed in today - Drumroll - down 4.8#.

Very exciting. Saw a number I have not seen in YEARS. Total 15 pounds lost. That puts me well over the 11 pounds I wanted to be down before we go to universal in two weeks. Maybe those seats wont be quite so snug this time.... hahahaha.

We can do it! I really want to lose an even hundred even though my goal with WW is set at losing 95. I just don't want to stop that close to losing a hundred pounds. Numbers mess with me lol!

Lexiann, some weeks I've lost 0.4 or 0.8. I usually on average lose a pound and a half a week. Those low weeks mess with me, but I look at how far I've come and I know I'm on the right track

yea im not worried about it in the least. a loss is a loss, right? i'll take 1.2 for sure. 2 lbs each week would be perfect and ideal but im working out a ton so im sure im putting some muscle on in place of the fat.

Well, yesterday's weigh-in only yielded a 0.6 lb. loss I'm trying to remember that a small loss is still a loss, but last week's loss was 0.8. I'm a little worried that I'm about to hit my first wall. I'm going to cut back on some of my fruit and see if that helps. I have been having three fruits a day. Now I'm going to start watching my sugars and simple carbs through the day and try to work in some protein and fat. I'm not good about getting those in.

Also this Pittsburgh heat and humidity don't help with swelling and fluid retention. Now on to the next week! Hope everyone is well!

yea, could just be time to switch it up... I've incorporated the 5:2 diet with my WW plan. its yielded me so fabulous results. you should look into it!!

theres a lot of info online and there is a small group on LCF. basically you fast for 2 days where you eat 500 calories or less (im usually around 700) then the other 5 days you can eat up to 2000. on my 5 days i stick to my WW plan so im not at 2000 im sure. but it worked very well for me when i first did in, in April and May of this year. then i gave it a rest and this week am giving it a go again. Since monday i'm down 3.8 already, since my last weigh in im down only 2, but tomorrow is the weigh in and i'll probably be down 3 from that. which i will definitely take!

I use to try some intermittent fasting and it did work pretty well. I just ate like crap when I did eat so it didn't stick when I lost weight. I think I'll try it with Weight Watchers and see what happens this week. Thanks for sharing, Lexiann! I'm definitely gonna try it

you're welcome! I can't say enough good things. i can "suffer" twice a week for guaranteed weight loss...

same shirt helps see the difference i think... i think once i get to onederland i'll do a "half way" college in comparison to a before collage that i just made today. i have more before pics than i thought...

the pics above are only a 20 lbs difference buts its the weight loss and increase in muscle that makes such a big difference

Hi, WW peeps

I had my weigh-in and meeting today, and after two weeks of low losses, I was down 4 pounds this time That's a total of 55.2 pounds since January 2nd. I'm pretty stoked!

Even though my two low weeks messed with me a little, I just kept up my healthy eating habits and kept my faith in the program and it paid off. Remember "persistence, not perfection".

Hi ladies,

I've read through this thread off and on recently. I just posted on the 5:2 thread as well. I've been JUDDD'ing and love it - but I'm not losing. I did in the past, but after a hysterectomy last year, it seems my body is very stubborn. Aside from being stubborn the last 30 years!!

I saw that lexiann is doing a combo of WW and 5:2 and it's working. I'm going to do lower carb WW and 5:2 as well. I'm hoping this will be something that'll kick this body into giving up the pounds.

Hope springs eternal!!

yup, it is working for me. so happy to finally have something work i really hate fast days but they are SO worth it. good luck to you
