Erin,

Very interesting! Do you stay around 70 most days or do you do that every once in a while?

I LOVE the whoosh!

My weigh in was yesterday, and I only lost 0.6 of a pound I know why. I went to my boss's wedding Saturday night, and I only ate a salad, but I had WAY too much alcohol I have no tolerance since I hardly ever drink. I threw back several Jack and diet Cokes. I don't remember anything after 8:30, and we didn't leave the reception until 10:30. I was sick until 3:00 on Sunday.

Even though I didn't eat but 8 points Sunday, I know the alcohol was detrimental to my weight loss. I'll never do that again!

I checked my activity monitor on Sunday and saw that my activity peaked and was off the charts around 9:30 Saturday night. My co-workers informed me that I was dancing my butt off around then. That's weird since I don't and have never danced and don't even know how I'm a very inhibited, shy person in crowds, so this is embarrassing. Oh well, you live and learn I suppose.

219.8 this morning! I finally broke the 220s and I am off of the crutches, but still have an ankle brace on for working and exercising. DH and spent 3 days in Inner Harbor Baltimore. Walked and ate like crazy and I only gained 2 lbs. DH went up 6, since he was downing the beers during the Knicks game on Sat. But just like a man, he has lost it already.

Devastated after seeing myself in the unflattering stark light of the tattoo parlour I was in on Thursday, sat in front of a huge mirror but it did give me some encouragement to carry on though!

So you need to go dancing like that every weekend without the alcohol.

OMG Carol Ann I was at a party on Saturday night and danced my butt off too. I love to dance though but yes a few drinks were involved so on my weigh in on Sat is when I am sure I will see a small loss.

Last Saturday I had a loss of 3.8 pounds bringing my total since starting weight watchers to 21.8 pounds. I received my 10% key chain thing and can't wait to add to that.

Had a bad day yesterday so today and the rest of the week need to be nice and clean. Here is today so far.

Breakfast yogurt 2pp
snack orange
lunch: spaghetti squash bake. 6pp

I have lots for later just not sure what of what I have I will eat.

Have a great on plan day everyone.

Tania ~ You're doing great!!! I got my key ring at 10%, and I got a charm for it at 25 lbs and another for attending 16 meetings. I think there's one for participating in the Live Life Active challenge. There are charms for 50, 75, and 100 lbs, too. I want all I can get

Well since I didn't join Weight Watchers until I had lost my weight and gained back some. I can't have as many as I wish I could. I should be getting the 16 week one soon I have only missed 1 meeting and that was because I had a funeral. I can't wait I am so close to getting that 25 pound charm I can taste it!! lol

You know what's best for you better than anyone Everyone is different and no one plan fits all.

I had lost 1.6 lbs at weigh-in today. I was hoping for 2, but I'm not gonna complain. Any amount of weight loss is good weight loss

Disney- I have to eat less carbs than most people because of severe insulin resistance. I just adjust my menu to have more lean protein that they suggest. Try that for the few weeks you have left. I will never just be able to eat what ever I want.

I had to weigh early and at night and I was not happy to see a gain but I do know it is only water, evening weighing and that I just ate dinner. When I go back it will be so much better.

Good morning! 1.2 lbs down this week! I didn't realize how active I was and how much it affects my weight until I was on those crutches for 2 weeks. I do have to try to snack on fruit and veggies more and less on the sugar free puddings and WW ice creams. That goes a long way as well. Strawberry season is just around the corner and I can't wait.

My hubby is thinking of starting a lower carb WW. Is WW for the most part lower on carbs? I may try it with him for a little while.

I think it steers you in that direction. The power foods are almost all LC, you do have unlimited fruits and veggies. Fruits are what I missed most with LC. Several of the posters here have made it low carb intentionally, it has just worked out that way for me because higher carb items are more points.

I just signed him up last night. We have a scale and he's trying to figure out points and what not. I was going to do it with him, I think that will help. I am so used to eating low carb though that I was amazed at how many points my butter and cheese added up to LOL It might be good for me though and get these last few pounds off. It is great that you can earn additional points with exercise, that will be great for the hubby as he has a stationary bike at home that will be easy to use. He was getting really discouraged with the low carb not working for him.

I think that WW now is a good, balanced approach to eating. They seem to encourage more "whole" eating than they did even just a few years prior. They take into account carbs and fiber, which I was used to from LC eating.

Best of luck!

Disney, also remember that (by your pictures) you just had a baby. Everything is out of wack after that - so keep at it. I also can't eat everything I want. If I eat too many carbs I don't see the results. I also haven't been very good lately because I've been traveling for work, parties, etc. I also try not to keep junk food in the house - that's a huge problem for me. So...points aren't all the same - try to stay lower carb and stay off the processed foods for a while.

This is so weird for me. My meal had 29 carbs in it and I am surprised I ate it. I have been eating low carb for so long. Well, time will tell. I think this is really going to work for hubby though. I'll do it with him for the month and see how it goes, I know the support will help him too. Now just hoping I don't gain weight lol feeling kind of bloaty but maybe my body has to get used to the food.

Weigh-in was today and I only lost 0.6 of a pound. I want to lose 2.4 lbs now so it'll make a 40 lb loss. On to another week
