Thanks Erin. I did write down all the info from the dressing and sunflower seed packets, but just wasn't sure about the salad itself.

One lunch option I found is Chick-fil-A's "Breast of Chicken" (chicken noodle) soup -- the large portion is only 6 pts, and I can't eat the large in one sitting. Last time I got the Chicken Tortilla soup (VERY good, but spicy), which is 12 pts., and I ate half.

My meals have been around 7 points. I'm breast feeding so I get lots of points thanks though. That sounds really yummy!

Doing good this week though using a lot of points on alcohol. It'll be nice once I'm home from vacation and can make better choices and start exercising

I went for my meeting and weigh-in this morning. I'm down 2.4 lbs this week That put me at my second goal of losing 10% of my starting weight. I got a key ring from my leader for that goal.

I was concerned because a couple of days I dipped into my extra weekly points, but evidently it worked out! I'm in love with this program

I hope everyone is having a great week!

Great job, Carol Ann! Do you tend to eat the same things every day, or does it vary greatly?

Actually, Monday through Friday I eat a lot of the same foods. This is possible because I don't have to cook for the hubby or my daughter. She's 22 and won't eat anything we eat. My husband is weird about eating. He likes sandwiches or something nuked with lots of bread on the side. I'm not complaining!!!

Also, I'm kind of a consistent person who doesn't like a lot of change I will have a couple of boiled eggs right before I head out the door in the mornings, and I take a couple of Atkins bars for snacks and some tuna or chicken breast for lunch. Then for supper I usually have either a Smart Ones food like a mini cheeseburger or mini pizzas along with some raw sweet peppers and cucumber slices that I dip in fat free ranch, a Yoplait light yogurt, and a piece of fresh fruit. On nights I don't feel like having any meat, I'll have some pineapple canned in juice with some low-fat cottage cheese. If I'm still hungry (99% of the time I'm not) I'll have a Weight Watchers 2-point ice cream bar. On weekends I eat more often and usually go over on my daily points, then I have to use some of my extra weekly points.

I've decided my goals are going to be small and numerous. My next goal is to reach Onederland. I haven't been there for about 4 years or more. That's 4 more pounds. I'm so gonna do this!!!

I'm really nervous for my weigh in tomorrow. I used almost all my flex points this week. Hope it still allowed me to lose.

No loss this week, not in lbs anyway, I did lose 2.5 inches so I will take that. I was really low on points 3 days this week, I had 9-11 points left 3 times. I guess that is not a good thing to do. And I didn't have nearly as much fruit as I usually do.

I went to a meeting today, so I guess that you could say that I have officially crossed back over to WW. I am going to try to stay with it for at least 30 days. I probably will eat less carbs than those who are strictly WW, but we will see.

Thanks! I always love hearing about the different approaches people take to be successful. I love the meetings for that reason.

OMG! Losing 2.5 inches is awesome! I'm like you in that the weeks I eat less I lose less. I was low on points week before last and lost 0.4 of a pound, then last week I had a couple of days I dipped deep into my weekly points and I lost 2.4 lbs.

I love my meetings a lot. I moved to Pittsburgh 4 years ago from Tennessee and I've felt like a fish out of water. I have made zero friends (I don't count co-workers since we don't socialize outside of work), but I feel more connected with the regulars at my meeting since we have something in common You get lots of good information, and goodness knows I need the accountability.

Well I weighed in today and I'm the exact same as last week. I'm not going to track it because I want to see what my weight is on my scale at home. 2 more days of vacation and then I'm planning a huge grocery shopping trip and really diving into WW. I'm also going to start running again Tuesday. I'm pleased to have lost 3 pounds on vacation anyways

Good morning! I am in a heck of a funk today -- not completely sure why, aside from it being rainy outside & having a slight argument w/ bf yesterday. Ate too much off plan last week...getting stricter with counting points again.

B: Egg McMuffin, coffee w/ 2 creamers & Splenda
SN: Market Pantry chocolate chip protein bar
L: Thinking a grilled chicken salad from Chick-Fil-A with FF Honey Mustard dressing...

Not sure about the rest of my day...I didn't pack stuff last night to bring w/ me today.

I am thinking about trying to eliminate Splenda and other artificially sweetened items from my diet...I think it's giving me headaches.

Jayce,
It must be a Monday thing, cause I am in a funk as well. I told dh, I don't feel bad, just anxious and sad feeling - ya know? I did overindulge on Saturday, so maybe that it the underlying problem - guilt

Anyway, sorry that you are having headaches, I went to the doctor on the 4th because I had been having headaches for over two weeks straight - couldn't find anything wrong, so he thinks that it is probably just tension headaches. I hope that you find out the culprit.

Have a great day!

Hi guys! I was hoping some of my WW peeps would pop back in here. I'm hoping for a good weigh in tomorrow. I've been under the weather and did not eat as much as usual because of it. Only used 20 flex this week. I usually lose better if I use all my points in a week.

Just ate my first meal of the day:

3 cups Kale/Spinach mix
6 sliced radish
1 shredded beet
I TBL Sunflower seeds
1 chopped boiled egg
2 TBL salad dressing

This is pretty much my go to 5 pt meal everyday. I alternate the egg for 12 medium shrimp every other day.

Snack is 6 large garlic stuffed olives=2 pts.

Dinner will be:

2 ginger/honey simmered breakfast chops=10
Boiled red potato=3
1 TBL butter=3

I know it's odd but I don't really get hungry during the day. I usually eat a 10-15 pt dinner. The big salad at lunch carries me through till dinner.

The weather is crappy here also. I'm actually glad to see the rain because the pollen is so high here the last few days. Good luck with the removal of the sweeteners. It seems to be a YMMV for many people. I can't tolerate any so reg. sugar is actually better for me. I just don't eat it that often.

I drink my share of coffee in the morning and then decaf herbal days later in the day. I'm just used to not putting anything in them.

It's called Cafe Geneva

I've only been able to find it at Publix here.
Per TBL:
4 fat
45 Cal
0 Carb

It doesn't have the greatest ingredients because of the soybean oil, but no sugar and no chemicals.

My menu is pretty much consistent every day:

B: Hard boiled egg
S: Atkins bar
L: Small can of tuna/water
S: Atkins bar
D: Chicken Breast, grilled, 3 oz
Sweet Peppers
Cucumber slices
Fat Free Ranch Dressing
Pear
Light Yogurt

Sometimes I change up the fruit at dinner with an apple or banana or grapes, and the protein is usually different. But the rest is usually spot on. For lunch I take a small can of tuna a couple of times per week, but I don't like doing too much tuna.

I like a substantial dinner, as you can tell Our WW leader told us that some people start counting points at dinner then count the remainder the next day up until dinner. My way is working out ok so I'm not gonna mess with it too much right now.

Today's breakfast...
Coffee, ff h&h, Splenda
Lite english muffin, 1 tbs whipped peanut butter, banana ( a bit carby in the LC world, but totally on plan with WW)

Lunch will be left over lean pork chop, boiled cabbage with oil allotment.

Dinner - not sure yet.

Have a great day!
