good morning WW! Good morning Jayce and welcome to the group and WW again!
Yes, it seems that we always come back to WW! LOL sooner or later... it seems to be one of the few programs that is sustainable for lifetime! It just gives the individual all the responsibility of making choices every day and that is not always easy, but I think a skill that can be learned and mastered. and most of us are still learning! for me every day is a new challenge and new temptations! I am making progress, but it seems I am a SLOW learner! LOL and every time I try to wing it, or think there is an EASY way to do it, I fall flat on my face! and the scale never LIES! right now I a also dealing with TOM! and that is always frustrating, because I always gain at least 1+ lb! and the days before the arrival, I usually have a feeding frenzy! argh! but one day at a time and baby steps will get me every day a little closer to my goal! breakfast for me this morning was 1/3c of oatmeal with sf hot chocolate powder mixed in! yummy and and filling... and one banana. I should have added something PROTEIN to my breakfast! guess I will have a greek yogurt for my mid day snack

When I'm lifting weights, I add an egg white (I'm not WW, but still) to my oats..I use gluten free rolled oats (more fiber, better for you) and put the water in, and then whisk in one egg white...great protein, and the oats come out 'fluffy' and with a bit more 'substance'. Just an idea.

Jayce I restarted WW again and can't believe the food that you can eat.
This does seem more normal. My only problem so far is using my pts for carbs. I have several pts left at night and tend to keep going for the snack items and ice cream. All and all I am staying within my pts and losing. I know I will have to start using better selections eventually. |

Sinny I have days when I choose to many carbs and I seem to be losing pretty good. 12.6 pounds in 6 weeks. I'm ok with that and happy not feel deprived. Yes most days I try to make better choices but things happen sometimes.

good morning you all, Happy Wednesday!
Hope everyone is save and warm! Looks like we might get some rain down here in the southwest and we so need it! its cooler and windy! not very spring like weather. I had a huge bowl of oatmeal! Going to take my puppy to the vet for an earcrop and I know I will be there at least till lunch.. so had to have a filling breakfast! 1/2c of uncooked old fashioned oats makes a HUGE bowl cooked! LOL and I am throwing an Atkins bar in my purse.. just in case... LOL I always eat ALL my pts.. PLUS every day a few xtra from my 49WAP! and I NEVER count my activity points! I am wearing my fitbit every day... and I really need to step up.. and ad more steps.. I just have not made it to the gym for the last few weeks.. and I am a wuzz when it comes to just walking! sigh. I like the weather to be PERFECT! and I think I just need to get over that.. and make it a point to walk every day! heading out the door now.. I be checking back with you all again later. |

Good afternoon, y'all...it is cold and rainy here (blech). Ready to go home and cuddle under the blanket! Started tracking on my phone app...already over on my daily points b/c the grilled chicken salad I got for lunch was way higher than I thought it would be. At least I'm tracking my food, though. I've got to start packing food to bring to work again!

Here in Pittsburgh there was about 6 inches of snow outside my apartment this morning after an almost Spring-like sunny day yesterday. Weird
![]() I had my WW meeting and weigh-in today and I was sort of disappointed. I only lost 0.4 of a pound this past week. Last week was 1.2 and the week before was 1. The weeks before that were for the most part 2 or more pounds per week. I think the carbs are catching up with me. I don't do well on any diet with too much sugar. Not even natural sugar that's in fruit. I don't want to get too severe, because that's what I love about WW. So I think I'm going to cut back to one piece of fruit per day and no more bread. I'm not crazy over bread so it won't be a big deal. But I get a little crazy with the fruit because I love sweet!!!!!] I just had a small Wendy's chili for 5 points. So good! I hope everyone is having a great week!!! ![]()

Ok I have been struggling for 2 days but today even though it was my birthday I kept it together and stayed on my 27 points. I am up a pound because of using some of my extra points. I hope I can get it back down by Saturday weigh in.
Friday is another no meat day. So here is what I will be eating tomorrow. Breakfast: Omelette 2pp made with egg beaters diet bread toast 1pp Snack of cheese stick 1pp apple Lunch: Shrimp tacos 2pp for shrimp 2pp for the shell Mango salsa with cabbage Dinner: baked fish 5pp vegetables I need more points but need to figure out what they are. I hope you are all working hard and everybody has a great weigh in.

I only have a second but I wanted to check in. First WW weigh in and I'm down 3.9 pounds! Now I'm on a different scale so it might not be 100% accurate but I can be pretty sure I'm at least losing weight. Tonight ill be using lots of my flex points so it'll be clean clean the rest if the week

Weighed in today, another -1.2 lbs down for a total of 11.2!!! This week was harder, TOM was visiting and there was chocolate and potato chips involved. But I did increase my activity ( meaning I actually did some) to counter the food. I am also down 10 inches, mostly in my bust and waist.. soon it has to start coming off the hips I hope. I really ought to start getting back to the gym, I am paying for it after all. I went 4-5 times a week all last spring and summer then stuff happened and I lost momentum. I need to get it back.

Hi, WW buddies!
I've been bummed since my weigh-in Wednesday, since I lost only 0.4 of a pound. I immediately reverted to my old thinking: counting carbs, counting calories, cutting out fruit. Then today I thought of how that is the exact thinking that has NEVER worked for me. I have enjoyed this way of eating more than any other weight loss approach ever. So even though it seems my weight loss is creeping now, I would rather lose slowly than lose quickly, be miserable, hate the food I am eating, and then regain everything I lose plus more. Today I tried drinking water the entire day. I am a severe Diet Wild Cherry Pepsi addict, so I was miserable all day. I broke down and had a glass for supper. It was like heaven on ice Giving up soda entirely may not be in my immediate future after all. ![]() I'm going to focus on my points and keep eating healthy foods that I love and let the process work. Have a great weekend, everybody ![]() |

Carol Ann- I posted this in the daily weigher thread yesterday.
MARCH GOAL: 153 Week One Friday 3-1=161.4 Saturday 3-2=161.8 Sunday 03-03=161.8 Monday 03-04=161.0 Tuesday 03-05=160.8 Wednesday 03-06=160.2 Thursday 03-07=161.0 Friday 03-07=159.8 I'm officially out of the 160's I'm not used to recording my weight daily and I was starting to 2nd guess myself yesterday. I know WW works, so I'll stay the course. I'm starting to get very nice comments on my appearance, that always helps. If you are being consistant and tracking it works! Just not always the way we want it to. I'm officially down 15 lbs since I started on Jan. 20th. I did have one week in Feb. where I did not lose at all. Disney- I'm so glad it is working for you!! ![]() |

I tend to be up a day after using my flex points but then a few days later I drop to a new low. On nights that I eat shrimp or fish my points are too low so I make Thai Peanut Sauce for dipping. It is high in points but very filling. |

![]() Conrats on the loss!! I'm not seeing huge differences in my measurements yet. The hips and waist are down 1-2 inches. I didn't measure arms, legs or bust. I do feel much thinner and people are starting to notice. I know if I keep at it it WILL come off. I haven't set a goal weight but my measurement goal is the get my waist down to 27". |

Last week I used a few flex points almost everyday. Last night I was out and uses a big chunk of them which means ill have to be extra careful this week. I'm tracking everything. I'm still astonished that I'm losing weight in vacation

Dinsey- Stick to it your going great.
Saturday is meeting day for me and I was down 2.1 pound so in 7 weeks I have lost 14.4 pounds. Very happy with that but the next 2 weekends I am going away so I really have to be careful, I want to make sure I am losing 2 pounds a week. I have a fundraiser to work tonight for work and ate before I left and the only thing I ate was 2 skewers of plain fruit. I did drink a half a can of diet pepsi too. Very proud of sticking to my plan. |

Congrats on the losses & the NSV! That's one of the biggest things I'm looking forward to: fitting my booty into smaller jeans again.
![]() I was proud of myself this weekend. My bf ordered pizzas & cheesy bread Friday for him & the kids, but I didn't have any. I did eat a slice of the chicken pizza yesterday afternoon, but I ate 1 point Green Giant broccoli w/ cheese sauce as a side and drank water. My bf is on board with me trying to eat better, so I took most of my food to his house Saturday. I'm pretty much at his house every night, so this makes it easier for me to stay on plan. Packed my lunch this morning -- that's one of my goals this week (stop eating out as much). What are some of y'all's favorite things to eat regularly? Have a great day!

My favorite breakfast is Greek yogurt and a banana. It's easy for me since I don't always eat breakfast. I'm trying to make it a habit

I like the ww bagel w/ww strawberry cream cheese. Unfortunately so does my grandaughter, who keeps sneaking bites all the time. lol
My other grandaughter eats all the carrots and noodles out of my soup. It makes it hard to count pts. At least they end up less, rather then more. My weigh in was last Wed and lost .08 ,which was rather depressing. We have always gone out after bowling for wine and wings the night before. So I am trying to think of something that will be a better choice. I still keep within my pts but afraid it may be hindering the weigh loss.
