I would like to join you all as well. I have been a yo-yo dieter the majority of my adult life - you name it, I tried it. I don't like to be deprived and feel I am on most diets except for Weight Watchers. I joined WW meetings on Sept 25, 2012, lost 11 lbs and have gained 5 of those back since Thanksgiving when I took a break due to the holidays. I am ready to start back up and need the accountability that the meetings gave me, but with my schedule and life in general it's really hard to attend them. I use an app on my phone to track my food plus I purchased the books at my last meeting so I would have the materials needed. I'm hoping I can use this board to make me accountable. Monday will be my weight day. Looking forward to getting to know all of you.

Hey - it's better than the other direction....

I did so good - really proud of myself until Saturday night - oops - a beer started it all. Then, some chips/dip. Ouch. Then, Sunday I was back on track until I had a few peanut butter/chocolate balls/cookies. Then, a few chicken wings. Didn't have many but when I counted it up it was 24 pts. Seriously - OUCH. But, today is a new day. Back on track again. And, it's not as bad as I have been doing. Tonight - back to exercise class. Weigh-in is Thursday.

Oh Hockeymom, beer and wings (my kinda lady)
Well I am back on tract too, but I'm focusing on staying off so many carbs. The lite english muffins w/pnut butter became an everyday thing - not good. Also, I started having either potatoes or rice every day, and although these things are ok on ww, I think that it is more carbs than I want to consume. So, I am mostly following lower carbs this week - we'll see what happens by the end of the week.

well happy MLK day to you all!
My DH is working long day today.. 12 hour shift! so. I am trying to get a few things done.. and get to the gym.
welcome to all the new joiners to this little WW board!
I think most of us have started with Ww, went on to some other program, or not.. and now are back!
I really have enjoyed my last few WW meetings, since I rejoined! I know its still the same stuff. and most of it I know.. but. the presentation is different and I think the focus is more on using the tools that they have given us. instead of just going to the meeting and hearing the same over and over and over again.
I am feeling pretty good about it so far. and weightloss is slooooow for me.. but I am losing again.. and I take any loss over any gain, no matter how long and how slow it is.

I am heading to the gym agian, this morning..
got to go.. I don't like working out.. much rather would go and take a nap! LOL
but.. if I am not going, there is nobody else that will drag me there..
so.. I am going!

I had english muffing, 1 egg +1 eggwhite.. laughing cow wedge..and lean ham! that was a big filling breakfast.. but less then 10pts!

Morning everybody! Holding in there this week, better than last!
I haven't had any laughing cow cheese in a while, used to get it all the time. Your muffin with it and egg and ham sounds good, for breakfast or lunch.
Well off to get the kiddos ready for school!

Carol - that is awesome. What is your technique..counting points plus or simply filling? You have probably already stated that, but I am being too lazy to look back.

Finally checking in again to report that I am solidly back on track after a month of holiday debauchery AND a big move. To the land of wine, sausage, cheese, and bread. Yeah, I'm watching weight in France. Among the incredibly stylish women who seem to constantly be eating something crispy and flaky and butter-laden. Sigh.

Hope all is well! It looks like everyone has been doing well!

Thanks! I am counting points plus. I have yet to dip into the 49 extra weekly points. I'm not comfortable doing that. I may have to for a special occasion or something, but I am so satisfied with my food I don't need them yet. I am not a big daytime eater, so I'm eating light and lower carb throughout the day, then I have a very filling and satisfying dinner with lots of fresh veggies and some protein and usually a fresh fruit or two. I'm actually having a hard time getting all the points in eating this way. I'm also 45 years old and I've had a hysterectomy, so I'm not pushing my luck I also have taken to walking on my treadmill at least 4 times a week. This is seriously the easiest plan I've ever followed. I can't give up all my carbs anymore and it's nice knowing that as long as I keep within my points I can have some of the treats I love without guilt. I have a grilled chicken sandwich and small frosty every Friday night, and I count them in my points. Lovin' it!

I lost .2 this week. At least it beats gaining! I have got to get my head in the game. I don't think anything of having a snack or two in the evening and not counting it.
Hope you're all doing well!

Good Morning Everyone! I posted on here about a month ago and could not remember my way back but I now have this group on my favorites. I am maintaining my weight and always will have 2-3 lbs I gain and then have to loose. I also do WW but the SFT program as I find it much healthier and similar to SouthBeach which I did years ago so I do continue to eat low carbs on SFT.

This site is better than WW. I just cx my online and continue to use the community groups as WW does not give much info for SFT on a regular basis so I am able to learn more from other sites and sometimes WW community.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Forgot to update - I lost over 3 lbs this week so I updated my stats. I also kept pretty low carb this week - to help me get rid of the cravings.

I'm new as I have only been a WW member since January 2nd, but I love the program and I love the support on this thread

I did something that motivated me even more. If I don't gain for this Wednesday's weigh-in, I have lost 11.2 lbs. I took a 10 lb bag of sugar from the cabinet (leftover from Christmas cooking ) to see how heavy it felt. I can't imagine having to carry that around with me all day every day. So now on to next 11!

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend in spite of some of the icky weather

Good Morning! Has anyone tried Gimme Lean Sausage? It is a vegetarian sausage and it comes in a tube like the other sausages. I just learned about it on the FB SFT Support and thought I would share with all of you. I am going to buy it today and try it out. WW considers it a Power Food. For Super Bowl I think I will make that with FF shredded cheese and put it on Sliced Jalepeno Peppers and bake them.

I agree that this is a better site. I wish that there was more freedom to talk on WW site. It kinda gets boring.
I would say that my woe is more in line with SFT also, however I am not eating bread nor am I having 3 servings of dairy daily. I have decided to go with berries only right now. I will eat the occasional potato or brown rice. I pretty much still eat lean protein, but use full fat mayo and salad dressing. I use the whipping cream in my coffee along with Splenda. I did splurge this week and bought some carb smart ice cream products, almonds, and I even bought some pepperoni slices to fix with cheese for a fattier snack, if needed. Also, purchased some quest bars. I like to use these as either a quick breakfast or a dessert. They are yummy, low in sugar, simple in ingredients, and ver filling with a glass of water.
I would love to hear what everyone else is doing, might give me some new ideas.

Hello everyone! I will admit that I have not read the ENTIRE thread as it dates back several years!

I hope it is ok that I join in! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LC...but for whatever reason (some of which i will admit is just bad choices, but we all stumble from time to time...) I have never been as successful on full atkins as others. I did very well on SB (though i was working out like a psychotic maniac!) I love and agree with the modern research on fats, non frankenfied foods etc...but I'm beginning to wonder if I am they lone person out of every so many that just can't handle to higher fat diet. I KNOW carbs are my enemy!

So, I have a friend who joined WW and told me that they offer a LC plan...I signed up (i do like the tracking tools etc) so she and I could do it together. I can't find any LC section on the WW site, as in how do I "tell" the computer that I wish to do LC and not eat breads, etc. Do ya'll have any tips, suggestions, ideas?

I am going to keep playing on the website and find my way around! Ideally, I would love to follow Linda Sue's menues etc for my plan and incorporate them into my WW plan....at least for the three months I have paid for. How is the plan working for everyone else? How do ya'll incorporate LC into the plan?

Have a fabulous sunday! My spinach bacon crustless quiche is almost done!~ I can smell it!
