Good Morning!
My weigh in on Saturday was AWESOME!! I'm down 3.4 for the week and a total of 22.2lbs AND I made my 10% fist goal! ![]() I really need to rethink my 49 weekly points. I tend to "free for all" after weigh in and eat EVERYTHING in sight on Saturday's. So I'm up a little today, but more than confident I can get it off and a little more this week (up to 183.2 from 181.6) ![]() I got Zumba for the Xbox connect for mother's day and wow is it ever fun making a fool out of myself, but at least I'm getting a work out. Have not bothered to exercise thus far.... so I'm really looking forward to coming home and dancing lol Hope everyone has a great week!!

Excellent Kristy. I've gotta work my weeklies out better too. I have the Zumba DVDs. I really like them, they are a workout. I also do Zumba at least once a week at the gym.

Kristy - great job!!!
I have to admit - I totally feel apart this weekend. I've been so good so I have no idea what I was thinking. I had a gain last week so I should have been perfect OP -- but for some reason after my margarita/mexican food diaster on Friday night, wedding on Saturday and a non-stop Mother's Day feast on Sunday -- I'm a wreck. Today was a good day - I stayed within points but not LC (I had some brown rice). Tomorrow - I'm going to be LC/WW OP - oh yes I am! Back on track - summer is right around the corner. I'm jealous you guys have Zumba DVDs/Xbox connect -- I so love Zumba. I'm going to look for a class tomorrow. Well - it's Monday night - time to stay serious until weigh in on Thursday. Then, it's time to face the music. The worse thing is we have the meeting at work - and it's a small office so everyone is doing it. Then, we know everyone's success and failures -- everyone is going to know mine this week. Well - it's my fault - I've used all my weekly and activity points this week. I'm trying to flush it out with water and even some ACV ...any other ideas? |

Hi all! Been awhile since I was here, work has been hectic!
I quit my WW membership in April as I felt I didn't need the online tracking anymore, particularly since I was following the Simply Filling Technique and not tracking points aside from the weeklies. I had been on it long enough to kind of know point values for things so I just couldn't justify the cost of keeping it simply for tracking purposes. I'm still following the plan the way I was, only now I track everything through Spark People, which I really like. I like that it gives me a range of calories, fat, protein, and carbs for the day and gives me a report at the end of the day so I can see how I'm doing. Trying to keep relatively low carb and still doing well, down 27 pounds now - only 3 pounds away from my original goal! I've had days where I have eaten more than I should or eaten things I shouldn't have (such as on my trip to NYC) yet have still been able to maintain steady loss. Proof positive that veering off course once in awhile won't destroy your hard work! How is everyone else doing?

My weigh in was tonight and I'm down 5. I'm very thrilled as last week (my first week) I gained 2 lbs. I'm loving the combination of WW and lower carb. I truly feel like all I've learned over the years is coming together. For the ones who mentioned Zumba, I'm completely hooked. I eventually want it for the Kinect. I am attending a Zumba class twice per week and sometimes I do some routines that I found online. I find Zumba to be very addicting!

Avon- what a great week. Would you mind sharing how you incorporate the two plans together? Maybe share a typical day meal plan?

I'm doing the points plus. I have been eating a bowl of oats with a banana in it for breakfast most mornings. This is my new "treat" that I think is good for me but not allowed by low carb. I only want to have fruit and big amounts of grain in the mornings.
Lunch: vegetable soup and a sandwich made on 1/2 a Joseph's pita or a large salad with 3-4 points worth of protein;mixed berries sprinkled with splenda or some sf jell-o. Supper: This has been the toughest: A protein, lots of veggies. Snack: a 3 point snack like Veggie Straws or 100 calorie pack of popcorn HTH! |

So my weigh in on Saturday that was 181.6 and even my slight gain yesterday of 183.2 has now ballooned into 187?!?!?!? So I'm going to be lucky to get this weight off in time for my Saturday weigh in, much less lose additional. I ALWAYS do this to myself. I don't know what it is, but when I get around 183ish I start to sabotage myself and "treat" myself for all of my hard work. Sorry! / vent |

Hang in there girls! I think we all occasionally suffer from over indulgence. It sucks though that it takes then the rest of the week just to get back where we were. I have to get up early and pack my breakfast, lunch, and snacks everyday too. I work a 12 hour day and if I don't have everything little thing packed.......look out! I'm eating junk from the place next door and it seems to set off a chain reaction for the rest of the day!

How many carbs are you usually consuming on a daily basis? I'm trying to follow my WWPP points per day and also keep my carbs down as well.

locarblady- I'm not exactly keeping up with the carbs on a daily basis. I did track calories, carbs, and points one day and was in good range on all. That is just too much work for me. I am trying to stay more low carb. I could definately do better. I am eating bread, beans, fruit, dairy, potatoes, and pretzel crisps more often than I would like, even though not on a daily basis. I over-indulged this past weekend and messed up the way that I had planned out the week. I wanted to stick with SFT and will probably do that once I weigh in on Friday, which in turn should help me stay lower carb.

Pretzel Crisps are not my friend. I had an incident with a whole bag. I won't buy them again because I can't say no!

I weighed myself in the buff this morning and I am down a few water weight pounds.
It is always the same story, I lose and regain the same 7lbs. I have to stop reading statuses from my friends on FB when they are excited they are close to their WW weight goal. ![]() |

Ok - today was a better day. I stayed within points and rather low carb too.
Breakfast - a cheese stick (2 pts) Lunch - a nice large salad loaded with vegitables and salad dressing (2 pts) Dinner - turkey burger (no bun), a slice of avocado, cheese and onion (7 pts) Snack - blueberries - I love them!!! Not as much water as I would have liked - but did ok. Tomorrow - I'm going to be good -- yes I am (ok - I said it and now I have to do it). I am not looking forward to weigh in on Thursday. But, time to move on. Beeb: I mix my PB2: 2 TBSP powder with 1 TBSP water. it's yummy. It's not Jiffy but it's good. |

It seems you are all staying low in daily points. I am allowed 26 points a day. Should I be trying to stay lower than that? Does anyone know the formula? If I wanted to stay around 1200 calories a day, how many points that would be? So far I have actually been going into my weekly points by two or three a day. I feel like I am eating alot! I never use my free points for fruit because I hate fruit! I also use real mayo and real salad dressings so I get alot of points from fats.

Michele - use those weeklies. I don't count fruit, however, I never go over 2 servings. I ran my #s on *********** yesterday and my calorie count was around 1350ish. I ate all my points, but no weeklies. I also earned 1 activity point. I also use my points for full fat mayo and salad dressing. As far as your 1200 calorie #, I think alot would depend on what your eating (maybe I'm wrong).

Michele~ Trust me, I eat ALL my daily points
I just haven't been posting my dinners and after dinner snack. lol! I usually post in the morning after I've packed my food for the day but then I come home from work and eat 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, sauteed veggies, and some type of 4-5 point dessert. I would definitely say don't eat less than you are allowed. |

OK good to know! I was getting worried if I ate all my points I would gain weight! I have to plan better. It is 12:30 and I have two points left! Oh well it is only week one! I will get better at this. I hope.... lol
