Strange as it seems - today I had my normal appetite back too. I sure hope that doesn't happen again. I have weigh in tomorrow and so far I've been up almost 3 lbs this week. Seems strange but I also haven't been drinking all my water and I'm still not 100% after my cold/cough. |

Hi!! I just started ww online about 2 weeks ago!! I have lost about 9lbs so far!! I am really enjoying the challenge so far. I have been eating a lot of the frozen meals, I'm not much of a cook... I hope t change that soon!

Ok, I had one of those aha moments this morning...I have finally figured out the kind of eating plan that I want to do or at least try. Instead of calling it a WW/LC , I would say a low carb with a twist

Hey....where did everybody go? Hope you all had a great weekend. I would say that I stayed pretty much close to my plan. Always room for improvement though!!
Anyway, Hockeymom - as far as counting....there is a person on the main lobby page that tracks with 2 columns, 1-wwpp 2-carbs, I'm thinking maybe doing it this way to start. My goal is to not have to count anything (yeah, right), but to just "know" what works for me as far as calories, fat, carbs, and proteins go. I do know that I don't want to get caught up in having to track "percentages" that seem to be very popular with lc. Even though I feel (for now) that lower carb is healthier, I want to go on record, since I am a woman, that I do have the perogative to change my mind. Anyway....wishing success for all this week. Keep posting gals. |

Rotay - got it - I think you may be on to something. I think I need to start watching carbs a little closer too. I stayed on plan this weekend but .. I had higher carbs and I feel bloated, have cravings, and feel a little yucky. So...you may be right - I've got to get rid of the cravings that carbs brings me - that causes me to eat too much. So, points are important but also counting/watching carbs.
Not sure where everyone else is .... but hoping everyone is having a good week too. |

Hey Ladies - I mostly stick to lean protein, all veggies, fruit, olive oil, non-fat Greek yogurt, full fat cheese, and nuts. Processed carbs, potatoes and corn are not part of my daily diet, and when I have them on the weekend it is is in very very limited amounts in social settings. I just cannot handle them. I guess what I do is not considered LC because I do eat higher carb veggies and fruits, but neither of those sets me off into an eating frenzy like bread or chips.

I posted this on the main page thread, but decided to include here so that you all could see my plan for the day.
B - 2 medium eggs fried in coconut oil Sn - medium apple L - Mexican restaurant salad w/lettuce, tomato, bacon, chicken, avacado, ranch D - 4 oz n.y. strip (leftover) with yellow & zucchini squash & onion mixture fried in CO. Now I'm thinking that I might should have went with a spray of Pam this morning instead of CO, we'll see. How's your day looking? |

I'm having the usual:
B: NF Greek yogurt, apple, 1/2 oz almonds, coffee S: 2 HB eggs L: ammmaaaaaaazing salad of spinach, roasted beets, steamed butternut, green peppers, grape tomatoes, red onions, mushrooms, 1/2 oz blue cheese, mustard vinaigrette S: an orange D: 1 link chicken sausage, probably another big salad exactly like at lunch because it was so so good I think this leaves me with a few points to play with, so I will probably have some nuts before my bootcamp. |

Starting WW while on HCG
I know this may sound a little crazy to be doing both but I am very close to my goal weight and wanted to have the WW info to maintain my goal weight. I have also convinced DH to join with me since he also needs to lose weight and I think WW is the best diet for him long term.
Is it possible to stay LC while on WW since this has been the best way I have lost weight - (down 78lbs)? |
