Well yesterday I had too many candy corn and potstickers.. and I gained a pound from yesterday..however last Saturday I was 334.8 today I am 328.8 for a total of 6 pounds this week!!! I started at 344.8..so in 2 weeks I have a loss of 16 pounds..Too bad I mowed thru potstickers and candy corn...or it probably would have been more.. but had I been on low carb, I would have had a 5 pound gain...

Hope we all have another great week....

Have a great day..

Great job Crazyone!!!! I did the same thing, went all week being good, despite and the stress and uncertainty (I have been using food for comfort too much in the past lol).. but last night had a couple slices of pizza, some big cookies, and was just bad last night. Up a pound this morning. But you're right... if it had been low carb, I'd be up 5 pounds this morning. Today is a new day, so thankful for the new beginning each day. So far just some coffee with some sugar free dairy free creamer. Have to weigh in on Monday, so I hope this extra is gone by then lol

I've been struggling this week & feel bloated, but I need to just get over it & start tracking again. I am definitely 100% a stress-related, emotional eater.

I would like to join this WW Points Plus thread. I actually joined WW on 9/25, when I attended my first meeting. Out of all of the diets have I been on over the years, I find WW the easiest and with the least deprivation. I lost 5.6 lbs my first week; I am sure it was mostly water weight. However staying within my daily points allowance and not utilizing my weekly points allowance may have helped as well. I haven't had a chance to actually read this thread yet to get to "know" those of you on here but I wish you all luck.

Welcome Kelly!!!

Well guys - I had a rough few days - it's not that I went way over points or anything but I just feel that my choices weren't great (more carbs than I usually have and a few more points in junk/processed foods and not enough veg/fruit). I feel rather miserable (stuffed / bloated) so tomorrow I'm going to really watch it. I'm going to go to the store and stock up (that's when I do best).

Cheryl, my previous weight loss was a long time ago and on another WW plan. I did follow the plan to a "tee", and saved all my points for a one night weekend splurge.
One of the reasons that I wanted to try low carb, was "supposedly" these people only had to watch carbs.....well easier said than done to me, because if you do have a splurge...you get a gain (this is where WW is a plus to me). Also it seems, that you do eventually have to watch calories, proteins, or fats or all of the above, especially if you are a short, older female.
I really struggle with choosing one plan over the other, because I read too much! . It seems that every other week, I am changing between WW, WW simply filling plan, or Lower carb. I wish that I could just go forward with one and let the rest go. I think that I need some help mentally.
Have a great week.

Melinda- great loss.
Tttmom- best of luck for weigh in.
Welcome Kelli, join in and post often.
Jaycee, it seems like that we all need to find ways to deal with our stresses. I think that it is too much socializing and splurging on the weekends for me.
Hockeymom, I seem to feel more bloated whenever I add grains, does that seem to happen to you? And....where do you think that Penny got off to? It seems that we were the only ones posting a while back, so I kinda miss her, but am sooooooo glad for all the new people that have joined. Welcome, welcome all.

Good Sunday Morning Ladies....another day another day to stay the same on the scale LOL..

Rotay.. I did low carb...and for one year the weight melted off of me.. I started at 409 and lost down to 279...but then one day boom it stopped working, no matter how I tweaked and worked it...then I stupidly waited another year gaining on low carb back to 340....I used to see where people would say they had 9 chicken wings for dinner.. and I never ever could do that.. I used to get a ration of you know what from people when I said I also watched my calories on low carb.. you can't tell a person like me, to eat until your satisfied...know what I mean??? so you have to have some kind of portion control built in...but anyway...that's just me...and maybe because I have so much weight to lose, one diet plan isn't going to take me to goal.. it may not even be Weight Watchers.. won't know until I try...also it is hard mentally for me because being on low carb, it's hard to make the switch..but anyway...

I hope we all have a great week...

Hi everyone,

I still doing well on WW, weighed this morning, and the scales read 171.0! I am worried about gaining the weight back, but thats normal for me.
I am finding the worst times are between breakfast and lunch, working on that. Apples seem to help, but I really think it's a mental thing, oh heck, I know it's a mental thing. I am working on it.
I want to say hi to all the new posters and best wishes to the rest.

Lynn

For the first time since I started WW I am struggling with that sensation of wanting to eat even though I am not hungry. I just want to eat, and eat, and eat. I hate this feeling and I wish it would go away forever. I think the only way out is to plan and track religiously. So that's what I am committing to do this week. I will eat my daily points, drink my water, and track, track, track. I will also pay attention to the feelings that I am having when the desire to become a bottomless pit strikes, and find some other way of dealing with them.

Blech.

Oh my gosh - me too. I haven't felt this way since last January (before WW). I can't stop eating. I want to eat everything. I've made lots of bad choices this week which is not like me. Today - I'm getting back in control.

Good morning to all. Have been away for a while, but still following WW - using an old plan and doing well - am down this morning. Just didn't do well on Points Plus.

Congrats to all of the losers and hugs to those that are struggling. I have always struggled with my weight and lost and gained so much.

I just love WW after being on low carb because I can eat anything only in moderation.

Hope all have a great day and stay on plan.
Hope

Wow great job! I weighed yesterday, although I could not attend my meeting. Down 1.2 since last week. Just really stressed with work related stuff. I want to eat all the time too, but it's probably just my way of trying to comfort myself. I haven't done too badly though, we'll see how this week goes.... hope you all have a good week!

I'm going to blame the weather. It started to get colder outside and I just hate this time of year. Sure, the leaves are pretty but it's getting colder outside which means I'm going to start to think of winter (and I hate winter months). So, I ate and ate and ate everything the last few days. I tried to stop but just couldn't. I am off to my zumba class - I'll try to push myself a little harder tonight. TOMORROW -- it's a new / better day. I can do this. I made it this far. Yep - blaming the weather.

Hockeymom, have fun at Zumba. I did my power class tonight. I will do combat express on Thursday, and Ripped on Saturday. Depending on what I have going on, I might tackle some extra cardio on Friday- we'll see.

Yeah I am stress eating big time this week.. and I gotta stop.. but my son is getting ready to submit college aps..and I am worried about him not checking out scholarships and aid....I asked him to ask his counselor if i am just worried about too soon.. naturally he forgot.. I am worried if he understands it costs money to live in campus and out of state GRRRRR why wasn't I born rich and became rich..why do I have to penny pinch GRRRR so that turns into me binging..

Anyway Shari your right...new fresh day today...

Hope everyone else is having a great week..

Moderate good news: my bottomless pit situation seems to have resolved itself. I refocused on the foods that work for me and tracked the heck out of everything I ate. The desire to eat has subsided and my normal menu is enough. Maybe it was a cyclical thing, I dunno. I'm relieved.

Big congrats to everyone who is losing and everyone who is trying desperately to stay on plan despite stress, gross weather, and everything else. It's a marathon, not a sprint, right?

Which reminds me, I read an inspiring running shoe ad the other day, and as silly as it sounds, it resounded with me and I think it applies to both my food and exercise programs: "You aren't competing against anyone else. You are competing against the voice in your head that is telling you to stop."
